An excellent location for visiting Varenna and Lake Como. had air con. had a washing machine and balcony to dry clothes. staff were very responsive. beds were comfortable.
The booking process was too protracted. Payment of the taxes and signing of the contract was through a straightforward online system but the links to do so were only available very close to the date of travel (rather than the booking date through bookin.com), which was unnecessarily stressful.

The check in procedure was a bit too much procedural. The host should've made sure that the check-in was done well in advance knowing there is wifi issues in the property. They left it till on the day.
