Dada in Varenna - Relaxing Lake House

It was so close to everything- ferry, gelato, market, etc. Perfect location! It was beautiful too! Plenty of space. The balcony was nice. The two fans were essential for comfort.

Not the owner’s fault, but since it was so very very hot, we were so uncomfortable. Access to more fans would be nice if needed. Some furniture in the main room to lay a suitcase. Access to a real freezer would have been nice, but it was fine for 2 nights.

Fantastic property. Central location, very close to ferry terminal, and close to Varenna centre. Comfortable, 1970's architect-designed apartment, in a shaded, cool setting. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Very friendly and helpful owner/host. Felt like a real home, and a offered respite from daytime heat and crowds in Varenna, a key interchange village for ferries and trains around Lake Como. Apartment has a decent front garden, and rear balcony for outdoor relaxing.

Although not the owner's fault, loud 'distant' music is played from the nearby Lido from 9am to 10pm, but no later. Also at the weekend, the road outside the property is a very busy lakeside drive for bikers/sports cars touring from Milan around Lake Como and up into the Alps; great for motoring enthusiasts! If you are self-catering, Varenna has very basic food shops and no mini-market, so shop before you arrive!

The villa was in a beautiful location, very close to the ferry port, restaurants and water fountain. The place was impeccably clean, very comfortable and had a wonderful balcony to relax outdoors. Oscar was a great host and kindly left us a bottle of wine and some waters for our stay. Although there was no air conditioning in the villa, it was not really essential as air circulated beautifully with the windows open. All in all, a fabulous stay and will definitely stay again if travelling to Lake Como in the future.

Windows/doors would benefit from big screens since there is no air conditioning.

Divino una casa súper acogedora con una ubicación increíble y con todo lo necesario para tu estadía en Lake D Como !! Está en Varenna a solo 4 minutos caminando de la estación del tren !! Tuve una experiencia excelente. La ubicación es perfecta, con una vista espectacular que hace la estadía aún más especial. La casa es muy acogedora, transmite mucha paz y tranquilidad, ideal para descansar y desconectarse. Todo estaba en excelentes condiciones, muy limpio y bien cuidado. Sin duda, un lugar al que volvería y que recomiendo totalmente. Y hay que destacar la atención de los anfitriones con excelentes personas !!!! Sin duda tienes que hospedarte aquí si quieres ubicación, restaurantes y se sentirte relajado en Varenna .
