Budget hotel with boutique prices

The location is convenient right next to the train station. It is about a 10 minute walk to the main part of the old town. The lobby is nice and the rooms were clean.

This was a very expensive stay for what you get. Likely the costs were higher because of the time of year we went (Dec 27-30) so maybe more budget friendly other times but other hotels we stayed in during our trip were the same price (or cheaper) and much nicer. - The room is very small and hardly enough space for two people to put their luggage. Our view was also of the train tracks - I’m sure the other side of the building had nice views. - There was only one small blanket (only covered half the bed) and one bath towel for two people. There’s no phone in the room to call down to reception so we had to go down twice to ask for these. - no glasses for water, tea kettle or coffee. No mini fridge. The latter isn’t that big of a deal but we were really surprised by the lack of glasses and tea/coffee as that feels pretty standard. Again, had to go downstairs to ask for some water glasses which they then sent us to the restaurant for. - TV doesn’t work. We like to watch the news in other countries when we travel, but even this was very spotty. Not a big deal, but why have a TV with Netflix buttons etc if none of those things are offered? We didn’t want to go downstairs yet again to ask about this. Overall the stay was okay and had it been a lot cheaper we wouldn’t have cared about these things.

I really enjoyed certain aspects of our stay. The room itself was quite comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better. The view from the property was simply stunning — I would easily give it a 10/10.

However, there were also a few downsides. Check-in is only possible at PRECISELY 3 PM, which felt a bit inconvenient when you arrived from a long trip in the morning. The staff were okay. My biggest issue was cleanliness related to my dust mite allergy. After the first night, I woke up sneezing and noticed that the headboard was covered in dust, and dust under the washbasin in the bathroom. Aside from that, the room looked clean, but this detail made a big difference for me.

The views from the room and the breakfast area were amazing.

Small rooms and not enough staff working at the breakfast area. Tables were not cleaned quickly after someone left and food/drinks/ cups not refilled. I asked for milk as it was empty at 9.00 (not sure the lady understood what I asked). I left the area a bit after 9.45 and there was still no milk.

Great location, quiet and cool space.

Good location, next to the station. Even though it's next to the station it's very quiet at night. The room had big windows but good black-out curtains and the airconditioning worked very well too. Lovely balcony with mountain view on the 13th floor! The room was big enough for two people with lots of luggage.

This is the same for all Motel One's, you don't have a kettle or mini-fridge in your room and there are no washing machines.

Modern, great views, convenient but room for improvement

Bright and modern hotel, fantastic views from the bar and breakfast area on the 13th floor, nice big bed, clean rooms. Location was great for the transport links, town centre and the Olympic stadium. A number of vegan options at breakfast though not enough choice to want to use more than once.

Rooms were cramped, limited bedside storage/surface area for personal items, the "cooling" system in the room was inadequate particularly as the corner rooms have a lot of heat attracting windows (a separate floor fan helped but only partially). No separate shampoo and conditioner supplies.

Average stay - could do much better honestly

Bed was comfortable and there was an option to skip cleaning days which was great.

Air con didn't work properly - it was either too cold or too hot in the room. There were no fridge, kettle, coffee machine, mugs, plates or cutlery provided. No shampoo and no conditioner were provided and the shower gel and soap that were provided were only a tiny amount.

The worst service I have ever experienced!

The hotel is next to the central train station, with 360-degree views of the beautiful mountains. The room I was in overlooked the trains arriving and departing with the stunning mountain view in the back.

The aftercare is non-existent. I had to rush out to catch my flight and forgot a personal item in the room. When I discovered this at the airport, I had a few minutes before boarding. I called the hotel to report this, and the lady on the phone informed me that I would receive a call as soon as she or her colleague could reach housekeeping. The journey of getting my item back was very lengthy and tiring. In this process, I was told that it was my fault that I had forgotten an item in the room and that they were not responsible for it, as well as very unfriendly phone conversations with their staff. Will never stay here again.

Motel one offer a standard package. It works. Good size room, good location.

If you are arthritic and find low chairs difficult breakfast can be a challenge. There are too few tables and chairs of usable height. Maddening. A bit of respect for the less mobile would be welcome.

Great hotel next to train station

The hotel is good, but the room is tiny. The location is very convenient - being right next to the train station, but the walk to town/food is about 10 minutes. The view from the rooftop is amazing, but only serves breakfast and drinks.

Great view surrounded by mountains

The receptionist, I think Amer was his name was above and beyond in his welcoming and care. My room was on the 9th floor with a great panoramic view of the mountains and had big windows on all walls. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location is right near to the main starion, you can go by walking ca 10 min to the city center or the old city and the beautiful river side. I had a pleasant stay.

The breakfast was below avearge and very basic. Overpriced for the varity and quality of the food. Only the view from the rooftop bar where the breakfast was presented was beautiful to experience.

The cleaner walk in to my room when I was sleeping and woke me up. Mine it was last minute booking, I checked in 10 pm and I needed a good night long restful sleep after skiing whole week. Good for a super short visit

The hotel is located right on the train station which is super convenient if you need to travel anywhere else by train. It's walking distance to the city centre too. Easy reachable from the airport by bus.

The breakfast needs to be much better for the price that the hotel is charging for it. No variety, no hot food, very poor choice. Better off eating somewhere else.

Magnificent View

Magnificent view from the room! I asked for a room with a good view in advance, and they've booked a corner room for me with great views of the mountains and the trains. The desk faced the huge window, and it was just relaxing spending time reading and observing outside. Location was extremely convenient too, only few minutes walk to Innsbruck station. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby, good for a stay for few nights. Would definitely return if there is a chance to visit Innsbruck again.

The view from the rooftop bar is world class. I cannot speak highly enough of the value in this hotel. Its view coupled with its proximity to both the train station and the downtown attractions make it a winning choice.
