Great breakfast, location for skiing and beautiful mountain views

Delicious breakfast, excellent location near Pasterkofel for skiing (a short five mins walk) and spacious, clean rooms. Amazing mountain views and friendly staff. Free hot squash and cake, and the basement sauna space was surprisingly large!

There was a shortage of the Normal tea bags, breakfast tea and ui wasn't keen on the organic ones.

This hotel/guest house up in the mountains above Innsbrook was very cute and we were delighted to arrive and experience it. There were cake and warm drinks on offer upon entering. The hostess seemed nice and we checked in within a reasonable amount of time. We were very excited that across the street from the hotel was the Innsbrook bobsled track. The room itself was cute and the bed was good, although not great.

The bathroom had terrible bathroom lighting and no places to hang our hand towels that were convenient to the sink. We really wanted to try out the sauna, but unfortunately, it closes daily at 6:45, and we had intended to use it after dinner that evening. We were excited to come back and possibly sit in front of the fire, but when we arrived back around 7pm, the fire was down to just coals, and we could not get it going again. The hostess saw us trying, and did not offer to help. We asked for extra pillows twice during our stay, and both times we were promised they would arrive, and both times they never arrived.

No reception after 7pm. Our bathroom sink was clogged. N there was no one available on site. Also one of the rooms only had sugar n cups. No tea mugs. Or coffee mixes. Basic breakfast

Mixed Feelings About a Hotel With a Stunning View

We stayed at Hotel Römerhof in Innsbruck, which offers an absolutely extraordinary view from the large shared balcony. Watching the sunset with a glass of wine or water after 7 PM was one of the highlights of our stay. So overall, from a safety, cleanliness, and privacy perspective, the hotel falls short of expectations. But if you’re someone who values a spectacular view over comfort and amenities, it might still work for you.

Inside the room, unfortunately, the experience was below average: • The building is quite old and not well maintained. • Cleanliness was disappointing – we saw spider webs on the balcony table. • There is no air conditioning, which becomes a real issue when Innsbruck hits 31°C, like it did during our stay. • TV setup is outdated, and there’s no access to Netflix or any streaming services. • One of the electrical components (lamp switch) was broken, which could be a safety risk.

Not far from city, and good value for money.

Breakfast was good, and transport links to city were decent, especially with the welcome card (free buses). I also liked how there was a fridge in the room. Room was also sufficiently quiet.

Bathroom air conditioning was broken, so air was very stale. Also, if I were to leave early before breakfast (i.e. before 7:30 AM), I wasn't sure if/how the paid breakfast would be substituted.

It was a very quiet Austrian experience away from the mass commercial tourism zone of Innsbruck.

The staff was very helpful with our questions about local and dining and sights. They could explain it well in English or German. Food selection and size of the room was also nice. Quiet neighborhood with a nice balcony. Right across the street from one of the main mountain ski lifts overlooking Innsbruck.

Tub is very tall to climb into.

A very nice mountain stay with room for improvement

The location is lovely! We also enjoyed the general ambiance and the balconies in the room were very nice. The lady working the front desk in the evening was very, very kind and helpful.

The staff in the morning weren’t nearly as pleasant as the ones in the evening. It was also hard to enjoy the balconies when people smoke on them and you smell the smoke if you have the window open. Smoking should be banned on the balconies.

The breakfast here was absolutely amazing. We ate there almost every day and was able to try something new almost every time!! Very delicious and worth the price, and the room where the breakfast is in is also beautiful. The best part of this place is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Sarah. They gave really good recommendations for the area and it was also a pleasure to converse with all of them. Lastly, if you are worried about the location, you don't have to. Everything is so easily accessible by bus and the stop is just outside the hotel. It was really great especially since we didn't have a care. I would 100% come back here, maybe in the summer.

We booked the “family room”. it was in the basement almost an afterthought. You look onto the tires of cars. Beds are very hard. The hotel is very nice but not the “family room”.

All staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. The facility was clean and well maintained, and the staff were very accommodating. Room size was big. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with all required amenities. Breakfast was great. There were variety of selections for food and drink. Additionally, we had a chance to join a small Christmas Eve party with free of charge. The warm wine and cookies were great! Thanks to the host and kudos to all staff.

Very cosy and comfortable hotel with amazing staff. Felt like a nice little family hotel. The management should definitely highlight the bus station directly in front of the hotel that simplifies trips to Innsbruck enormously.

Very nice hotel just 25 min (by bus) outside Innsbruck. Large and comfortable room. nice view from the balcony of our room. comfortable beds. nice Tv. free car parking. You can catch the bus that will take you to the city just in front of the hotel. very friendly stuff! great breakfast!

Cosy, friendly bijou hotel in Innsbruck

Cosy hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Excellent and plentiful healthy breakfast. Our car broke down during our stay so we waited in the lobby for a few hours for it to be towed and the staff were so kind and welcoming.

we were here for a stop inbetween locations but the staff and view were wonderfull. we went to innsbruck for dinner which was close by. overall would really recommend staying here
