Comfortable and practical in the heart of Innsbruck.

Great location for near the train station for access to/from Innsbruck and ski buses, comfortable and practical. Everything to see and eat was within walking distance.

We stayed for a week and didn’t have the room cleaned or towels/bed linen changed once. Would have been nice for that to happen at least once (maybe after 3 nights). Also bed pillows were very uncomfortable for sleeping (too soft and flat) but most likely a personal preference!

It was nice but had some short comings. If ever in Innsbruck again, I would try to stay somewhere else.

I liked that the property was far enough from the main tourist area but still within walking distance. The buses I had to take were close enough. There were cafes and restaurants just outside the doors. I liked that there was cooking supplies and dishes along with a refrigerator.

The bathroom shower leaked to the floor so the bathroom area was constantly wet. Unfortunately, before we learned of this our clothes would sometimes fall into the wet floor and we could not wear them until they dried. The room was a lot smaller than I thought it would be and in the description it stated courtyard view. There was a small view of the mountains but it was blocked by buildings. There was a small area to hang clothes and an open desk area to store clothes. There was no iron or ironing board and no tv. The price was expensive for the lodging.

This will be my place, if I ever return to Innsbruck

Perfect location, very spacious area, easy check in and check out. Spacious, with all needed features. Modern, warm and cozy. I almost felt like home, and that is very important for me.

A broom, a bucket and a mop could be useful, when you're staying for a full week. Room has enough space to add a piece of furniture (low shelf, i.e.) that separates the trash counter (under the sink) from the bed head (it's too close). The insulation is good, but the upstairs neighbours were still a bit noisy with their feet. The mattress was way too soft (should be replaced)

Room a little small. Shower floor/door not effective at stopping water running onto bathroom floor. Not sure about position of bathroom/second sink next to bed - not being in the bathroom. We weren’t that bothered about lack of TV, but some people might appreciate one

Fantastic apartment, loved the decor and vibe. Very thoughtful details. The window seat overlooking the mountain was amazing. The owners were so accommodating and check-in instructions were really clear.

Nice, clean big open room, very comfortable. A reasonable walk to town centre.

The hotel is in a good location not far from the city centre with a few nice cafes and restaurants right outside your door. We found the room large, clean and open. I appreciated the nice big shower, the kitchen is fairly equipped and nice to have.

Not much, but I gotta say the bed set so low to the ground is not comfortable. Really unsure what value it adds to the renter being inches off the ground. Very hard to get in and out of. The only other thing is I've never loved the bathroom sink being outside the bathroom. You have to leave the bathroom without washing your hands and if you get up in the night, you are washing your hands next to someone who is sleeping potentially. Strange set-up. But overall it was a nice unit to stay in.

The location was great. The room was quite nice overall.

Not a big fan of the sink outside the bathroom. Also, the bed was super low and soft for my taste. No closet or drawer to store clothes. The air conditioning was not very effective.

A great find

Perfect location for our interrailing family trip - close to the station and the old town, but wonderfully quiet. The apartment was easy to access, in immaculate condition and provided all we needed for our short stay. We really appreciated the access to additional linen and being able to store our luggage after we'd checked out.

A comfortable stay in a great location

The hotel was in a great location, not too far from the train station and we found this easily. The directions about the key code were easy to follow and we got into our room quite quickly. The room was clean with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, just low to the ground as shown in the photos, so this wasn’t a surprise. The kitchenette area was useful and overall our stay was lovely. We appreciated the maps and leaflets in the entrance and this helped us to confirm our plans for our time in Innsbruck

Everything felt new and fresh. The place was clean and everything well designed. All the kitchen utensils were there including fresh coffee:) easy walk to town and the cafes & nearby beer garden outside were great. Room had a view of the snow capped mountain.

The slats under the mattress had collapsed making a poor sleep the first night until I fixed them.

Perfect base to explore Innsbruck

Staff we quick to respond on the chat to any questions, so despite lack of reception and onsite staff presence - I felt this wasn't an issue. Self check-in was simple. The room was spotless, and the kitchen handy! Coffee and tea were appreciated. Location was great for us, near a couple of supermarkets and local bars with the historic center only 15 mins walk.

Unclear why the bathroom sink couldn't have been built within the bathroom and not the outside, but this was clear this was the case before booking - it just didn't make much sense. A mirror in the bathroom would've been handy. Sometimes there was a drain smell, but perhaps this is due to be expected from such an old building.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OLDER GUESTS DUE TO ACCESS AND FACILITIES

Location was good, close to the Station. The renovations in an old building have been done to a high standard in general but see below.

Interior access was difficult, lots of steps and poor handrails. When I opened the door to the room had the suitcase not fallen down the step I would not have seen the 15-20cm step with another one a metre or so beyond. The bed, though comfortable is only 15-20cm off the floor so was very difficult to get out of, I am 73 and crawling to the toilet in the middle of the night is horrible. I tripped up the step twice in the middle of the night and hurt my leg. The toilet roll holder is designed so every time you touch the roll it falls off. Not enough hanging or storage space for a weeks stay. Security is poor, front door left open in the evening so anyone could come in or out, there are several drug users who shoot up nearby and if they wanted to break in it would have been easy. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to older guests because of the access and beds.

Great start to our Austria trip

Our group of five stayed a night here. The folks at Urban Inn were quick to respond to my queries and the instructions to access our room and the luggage storage were easy to follow. We had no complaints about the room. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. We had to climb flights of stairs to get to it, but I regard that that as a pretty common thing in Europe. Urban Inn is in a quiet neighbourhood that's a walkable distance to many of Innsbruck's main tourist attractions. We also walked to the train station to head out of the city. It's great that we started our week-long Austria trip by staying here.

The room definitely needs a TV, a service is not necessary, but a screen to plug in a device. If you come by car, i don't think there's anywhere nearby where you can park for free.

After adjusting or expectations, we liked the place. We will be going back

Our room--an the entire facility--was clean but spare, and we very much enjoyed the partial view of the Alps from our window. It is a well-thought-out, no-frills experience, at a very good, readily accessible location in the older part of Innsbruck. And the price is a very good value. They do provide coffee for the mornings!

The experience was oddly impersonal, as all communication with staff was done by email; we never actually SPOKE to anyone. So there was some time lag in getting our questions answered. That said, the responses were helpful and thorough and friendly.

Great location at quite Street not far from the centre

The heating it consisted only one radiator which was in the the corner next to another piece of furniture but far from the bed. Ended up keeping the radiator on constantly to keep the room warm-ish. It could be helpful if had extra duvet if not heating, bigger towels too

The room was refurbished and very clean. I am very happy with the cleanliness levels. The linen, towels, and furniture were very clean.

1. It was very hot, and there was no provision for cooling. We had one fan (standing fan) and another table fan. The table fan was practically of no use. It was very hot in the night. 2. There was no washing machine. Probably we missed this information while booking. 3. There was no Iron and Ironing board. This is a basic requirement 4. The entrance of the building stank of Cigarettes smoke. 5. If you sleep early, this is not the place to stay. There is a cafe/bar on the ground floor. There is noise coming into the room. Windows cannot be closed since it is very hot.

it was not clear how to regulate the temperature (it was 34 degrees celsius outside; too much to handle even for the thick walls of the building). shampoo bottle provided was (almost) empty upon arrival
