(I stayed some nights on female-dorm, some nights in double-room)
Double room was great, lots of windows, good wifi, lots of space and good for remote work.
Ski storage room is great and has boot heaters. Location is also decent, walking distance to the historic area.
Female-dorm was stuffy, no storage so everyone's luggage is scattered all over. Also it's placed in a stairwell so any noise produced in the stairwell (walking, talking) echoes into the female dorm.
Some staff were great, some staff made life challenging when you have unique requests. For example I wanted to upgrade from dorm to own room, and was willing to pay the difference, but I had to fight for it. At any other hotel, the staff would be glad to let someone pay more to switch rooms, so it was silly that I had to argue for it.

The dining room, and the view that I had in my room
The bathroom was not very clean, because people use it, and the weren’t very clean and I don’t know if it was clean before. My bed was not med or someone use it, but its not a big deal.

Location
Tiny room. Complete lack of basic furnishings i.e. any kind of wardrobe. There was 1 cloth hanger and a pipe mounted to the wall. No locker, night stand or shelf. The stuff said they have no clothes hangers in the building.
It's a poor hostel standard. So either you go with no luggage or take your own furniture.
The bed and room had an unpleasant smell. The shared kitchen was dirty and the staff didn't care.

Lovely view into the Alps!
Amazing floor heating in the bathroom.
Great location.
Easy access.
Friendly staff.
Not very soundproof.
Room quite small for a 3 people stay.
Mattresses and pillows too soft, but might be just a personal preference.

The location was great. Short distance from train station, and close to the city centre. Airport is very close by so it’s noisy
I booked a FEMALE dorm and was expecting to pay $162 AUD when I arrived… however the person at the front desk told me the hotel had made an error and overbooked rooms. So I was placed into a MIXED dorm without any consent. As a young female who was solo travelling for the first time, I did NOT feel comfortable staying in a mixed dorm so I asked for a single room. This was then classified as an “upgrade” and I had to pay DOUBLE. The single room was on the ground floor so it was VERY noisy and bright, the room was unclean and the bathroom sink plug was blocked for the entire time (even when I went to the front desk TWICE to ask for it to be looked at). So disappointed with this hotel. I should have been compensated for the hotel’s booking error, not have to pay double. Absolutely ridiculous and do not recommend.

Common area where you can cook and eat
Location is very stratergic, where it is walking distance to the Old Town and Centrum. There is also tram station nearby if you need to take tram
Some board games in the common area which is excellent to pass some time with the kids
The hostel is pets friendly. So you can expect to see dogs in the common area or the corridor

The location is very good. Very near to bus stops to access to key locations, including ski venues. Walking distance to Marktplatz.
Storage of luggage prior to check-in and check-out time is chargeable. No water kettle in room.

Nice, safe location. Comfortable beds and bedding. Very very clean. Super nice staff. Nice common areas
Unfortunately this is clearly a hotel room poorly converted to a dorm, not a hostel. There's no privacy (the two single beds pushed together literally get assigned to two strangers, that's the weirdest thing). The privacy walls have windows in them for some reason so there's less privacy..
One ensuite toilet and shower per room without sinks or mirrors, the only sink + mirror aren't hidden behind a door, so you'll wake up everyone in the dorm if you have to do your hair or makeup or have lights on for any reason in front of the mirror in the morning. Many basic things like these don't work well in a dorm.
This is a very high-quality and comfortable stay, but just so clearly built without hostel travelers in mind. For that reason, I wouldn't stay here again in a dorm because arranging simple things like brushing my teeth in the morning was a hassle. I would stay in the hotel rooms, sure.

Bike and ski storage room
More time needed for checking in than I’ve experienced everywhere else

Location is close to all the snowcap mountains. Very easy access all the tourist spots. The canteen is free for guests & I used frequent like packing nice seafood and buy bread from next door supermarket to have lunch & dinner.
Not knowing who will be staying in the same room. The last night, a woman came to stay in the same room with me. But she is OK and do not mind I as man to share the same room.

The location was great. Close to the inn, public transportation and alt stadt.
In general the staff was neither welcoming, friendly or helpful. They were actually rather rude and were not service minded, as you would think a receptionist would be. We asked for advice about the Nordkette bahn and hiking routes in the area. They laughed and said that they didn’t know anything about this and that we could look it up online. We asked to get our room cleaned on our 3rd day (which is not done if not asked for). We were told, that they had too many check-outs that day and that we should have told them one day in advance (doesn’t say on any signs and we were not informed about this upon our arrival. The receptionist insisted that this was written on the sign in the bathroom, which it isn’t). Upon arrival, the room had a layer of dust on the furniture, there were hairs in the bed and the floor was not sufficiently vacuumed with visible dirt underneath the bed. The hallways were straight up filthy with shattered glass and small pieces of trash laying around. I asked the receptionist about getting the hallway vacuumed and he replied that the staff does this every day. It was still just as filthy two days later. The tables in the eating area were dirty and not well kept. The tables were not wiped clean after the breakfast buffet and underneath the tables were weeks worth of dirt. In the guest kitchen, all the surfaces were filthy- the same for the guest fridge. It was obvious that none of the staff members took time to check this area daily to keep it clean for the guests.

Great location and clean rooms but very noisy. I could hear people talking through the walls in both the dorm and private room. Originally booked a dorm, which was weird because it was 1 bunk bed and a double bed. When my friend left I got a private room because I didn’t want to share a bed with a stranger. Some of the staff were helpful but others had no idea, very hit or miss.
Luggage storage is 6.50€ per bag even if you are staying at the property.

The hotel is very near to public transport station and easily accessible, the city center also in walkable distance. The CHECK-IN starts at 3 PM. So plan accordingly. For 2+/3+ nights, we are eligible to get Welcome Card (for free public transport access and discount in tourist attractions). The hotel has lift facility, and the staffs are very professional. The shower and toilet room perfectly designed for sharing access.
Single common kitchen for 5 floor hotel is insufficient. I would recommend to place one kettle in every room (instead of only one in common kitchen) at least.

One member of staff was dismissive at check in but all other staff we interacted with was great

Simple clean rooms, extra facilities such as kitchens and laundry useful
It’s fine! The seating in shared spaces is a bit dirty! Need removable covers

It was clean and friendly staff.
The laundry service, the annoying app and having it located in a pokey kitchen where other guests are trying to prepare their meals.

Very neat and tidy hostel with a very clean bathroom as well. Almost all facilities provided.
However it was a bit over priced for a shared room hostel. Also, for that price, a breakfast could be included.

Location comfort

The kitchen was accessible whenever. Showers are nice.
They do have luggage storage, but one must pay a 3rd party for it, even though the storage room is directly downstairs.. On Booking.com, the ad only says there's a charge for luggage storage in one place, not both places where it says they offer this service. I did hear a guy complain that someone stole the sandwiches he'd made for a long train ride.

Mediocre breakfast. Room was pretty decent but super expensive for what you get. We paid what we’d pay in USA for luxury hotel
No hot selections offered; not a big selection. Loved the coffee machine though!

No bell for wheelchair access, no direct phone to property, ramp for wheelchair access to steep to manage getting back to street level without any assistance.
First room to small for wheelchair.
Had to speak to passerby to make staff aware of me.

This was a fantastic place to stay! It is in a central location, with shops and eateries around the corner. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming! It had a funky vibe with comfortable rooms, a shared kitchen and a nice, spacious sitting area.

Nothing
Paid 127 euros for a F1 hospital looking room with no view over mountains as it shows in every photo of the room I booked on Booking.com
So I consider it to be a fake marketing, they don’t provide the product described.

Like other Meiningers, very friendly and clean.
Satisfied with almost everything as always.
It would be nice to have a small bathroom shelf.

Breakfast was excellent as well.
There could be curtains in each bed for more privacy.

Great location! Pretty close to the city center. Room was large and very clean. Felt very safe. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. They also offer free luggage storage! Would recommend a hot chocolate from the cafe/bar. Very yummy!
Nothing - was great

Winter travel, 4 people.
Stayed in a room with 1 double bed & double decker bed. Very centrally located, safe (in front of a med uni), near a grocery shop & few restaurants, located in front of a bus station, quiet, needs were adequately addressed. It’s clean, bathroom floor heated. Common area is adequate.

The location was perfect, right outside a bus/tram stop. On this stop also was the line for the airport, which was very convenient. The room was very nice, with comfortable beds, soft bed sheets.
The room I stayed in was a dorm, but it actually felt like a family room converted into a dorm. Luckily I was with my wife and we shared the double bed, but would be extremely uncomfortable to share a bed so close to someone that I don't know. Also, because it is a family room not a proper dorm, the beds don't have the "private" factor we usually see in hostels, with some sort of physical separation. So I'd 100% recommend for a private room, but not so much for a dorm.

Excellent value for money right in the heart of Innsbruck. The hotel features really nice and practical rooms (plug next to the table - impossible in most other hotels), comfy beds, and really good community space next to the reception (excellent for work and drinking coffee). Easy to get from/to the airport.
The breakfast was really good during my stay, but I can imagine it could become a bit monotonous after a week or so in the hotel. Maybe a single "daily variety item" would make it more interesting.
