MEININGER Hotel Innsbruck Zentrum

Beds comfy, staff friendly and good facilities.

You need to put your card in to turn the lights on which doesn’t really work in a hostel environment. Many times I would be in the shower room and all lights turn off as someone else had left the room and taken their card with them.

Upon arriving, the staff were incredibly friendly and warm. The room was a bit small, however, it was clean, they provided towels and lots of different facilities, which made it a great stay. The beds were very comfortable, and it was super central.

I think the room was quite overpriced for what I got; this was probably a broader reflection of Innsbruck itself rather than just this hostel. However, it felt like quite a lot to pay for a shared hostel room with shared bathrooms for only a few nights. Additionally, the kitchen was very small and insufficient for the number of people using it, especially since the laundry was also in the kitchen, which made it super crowded.

I loved the location, the staff, the rooms, honestly everything.

I did find the bed setup a bit strange, in terms of the two single beds that are right next to each other - but all in all was fine!

The location is very good. Very near to bus stops to access to key locations, including ski venues. Walking distance to Marktplatz.

Storage of luggage prior to check-in and check-out time is chargeable. No water kettle in room.
