Great hostel

Love the enclosed beds and everything was spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed, warm and the free towels were really helpful. Good location, everything is walking distance and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A small bar on the ground floor but not noisy or crowded.

The window blinds in the 3 person room were broken and the curtains around the bed didn't close fully. If I could suggest an improvement I would say the perspex around the bed could be replaced with solid wood so the light is shut out. This is not really a complaint though because the hostel was lovely and I would definitely stay again.

The beds where so comfortable and the set up gave you enough space. Lovely bar downstairs and super lively. The common space is very nice and you also have a kitchen where one can cook.

Showers where very nice and the bathroom too! Although, note that you will have to share one toilet depending in the room you are in.

I like how well taken care of it is, how artsy it is, how friendly and helpful the staff is. They are the definition I was been looking for when it comes to stays at a hostel. The people staying were so friendly and considerate for each other. Perhaps it takes spending a little more a night to get such a great stay. I wasn’t expecting to stop in Innsbruck and now I can’t wait to be back. Even though it was raining both days nonstop, I still had a great time. The property is so well taken care of and respected. The kitchen was never dirty which I have not experienced at another hostel. The bathrooms were deep cleaner everyday. They also have themed stickers to give out for free which is a great souvenir and a curated list of places to eat, things to do, where to hike/go swimming, all curated by locals. It was the perfect non touristy stop and a well needed rest day. Thank you so much to the Montagu crew for the safe space you have created. Even by displaying signs in the bathrooms in case of harassment is a touch not seen anywhere else. As a solo woman travelling, I felt incredibly safe with you guys.

I was looking forward to the events but the basement was under construction so there wasn’t anything going on. Considering the rainy days, I wish they would’ve done something anyway in the bar area to help with that.

A very cozy and inviting hostel with more than enough facilities to make yourself at home.

It felt very catered to backpackers and day travelers like myself. The layout of the common room made it very easy to talk with the other residents.

It is right along a street where the sound reverberates a lot, so any car that passes by sounds extremely loud

Excellent hostel! Located in a very convenient place in the city center, very friendly staff, good quality rooms. I would definitely stay here again. My only regret is that my trip was short and I couldn't stay here longer.

Best hostel experience of my life, full stop. all the staff was amazing, i want to personally thank Emilia, Alba and Freddy (hope I remember you name correctly, my memory is so bad, but i hope you succeded in your Mario kart challenge!). you are the best guys, i really enjoyed the stay. also the lemonade was delicious.

Great hostel, perfect private dorms

One of the best hostels I’ve been to. The dorms are super private. Even for someone who doesn’t want to party, on a Tuesday, this hostel was it. The kitchen and terrace were great also. The wifi worked great.

Not much was bad, except the luggage room that was only a bunch of luggage unlocked. I got really unlucky and got the worst group of guys ever screaming in my doom at 4AM. Perfect hostel but worst hostel experience.

Bed was comfortabel and really kind and helpful staff. Facilities are very great, lockers, big mirror, hangout spot.

Bathroom is 90% clean, I do see hairs sticking in the wall, but it’s not bothering.

I want to come back!

Really well built and thought-out hostel with nice common spaces including a terrace on the rooftop with a view of mountains. It was clean, hygienic and stylish, with artworks on the walls. There were secure lockers and space under beds for luggage. Staff were friendly and the bars within the hostel have a very nice vibe.

Great place for a quick comfy stay in Innsbruck!

Good location in Innsbruck for a stopover night stay. About 1mi from Innsbruck hbf if you are doing train travel. Central to “downtown” area. Nice solid bunks with curtains all around for privacy. Decently sized locker for your things. Comfy bed. Cool bar downstairs, outdoor patio for socializing. Very nice and helpful staff. Close to a kebab shop, small grocery, park…many restaurants and shops right across the bridge.

Woke up very hot multiple times due to no aircon in room. Lots of stairs and no lift so if you have issues with stairs or traveling with lots of luggage this may not work for you. Older building though so not the hosts fault! Lock on locker was hard to unlock at times, needed a torch to see the numbers. Upstairs patio is very small, 4-5 people feels crowded. Pricey for a hostel.

Noise during the night, could hear and feel the music from downstairs until 2am, noise cancelling earphones didn't manage this level of noise/bass unfortunately (after that it was quiet again).

Friendly hostel with everything you need

Nicely located and friendly place to stay, it has everything you need and the room design is beautiful and functional. I didn't use the kitchen/workplace but it looked nice and spacious. The other travellers were also friendly.

I stayed in a room with six other women. There was enough privacy, however I stayed in a top bunk bed which made it a little less nice than the other beds in the room (which were single). There was no shampoo.

Neat bathrooms and toilets. I’m the individual beds had enough privacy as well in a mixed dormitory.

Just a suggestion, do not leave the locker unlocked with the right code on it when the guest comes to checkin. Miscreants can know the password and use it when the guest is not at the premises. Keep the locker code confidential.

The beds are great, you have a lot more privacy than I would have expected from a 6 person dorm, very nice! The location is amazing, as are the recommendations by the hostel. Extra plus for the bar below the hostel, great drinks, even better food and an amazing open mic night!
