There was a very bad sewage smell in the bathroom. It improved after running the shower. Other than that it was nice. The included breakfast was modest but good.

Although this hotel advertises 24 hour checkin, we couldn’t get card keys at the checkin kiosk ourselves and spent an additional 30 minutes on the phone with hotel employees to complete our checkin and receive key cards. The after hours checkin kiosk at no point mentioned that the croissant breakfast bar costs 10eur/person; we were also not told this by the manager when we came down and he welcomed us to breakfast the next morning. It was poor customer service to then charge us for breakfast at the end of our stay when this information was never relayed to us (the manager even took down our room number and should have had access to if our stay included breakfast or not). Hotel was clean, spacious, and conveniently located.

Great, centrally located hotel with a few tight parking spaces on site (rare in Innsbruck!) for the same day rate as the local parking garage down the street. Friendly and helpful staff at check-in, comfy beds, blackout curtains, excellent AC, spacious room, fast internet, great shower, and nice (mostly cold foods) continental breakfast with cooked egg options available. Easy access to all modes of transit, with Innsbruck Station a 20min walk, Altstadt Station (with access to the Alpenzoo and Top of Innsbruck) a 10min walk away, and Innsbruck Airport 20-30mins by public transport. The old town is just across the street, and everything is so easy to get to. Lovely spot, lovely short stay, thanks Basic Hotel Innsbruck, for making our visit so easy and comfortable 🙂

"Basic" doesn't do it justice. Sure, the hotel may lack some of the refinements more expensive hotels may have; but was it does have is done extremely well. Check-in was quick & friendly, and everything explained in good detail. The room was a decent size, clean, functional, good aircon, and had everything you need. The hotel was nice & quiet; the breakfast was simple but good - including the option of cooked to order bacon and your choice of eggs. The location is perfect. A very short stroll to the altstadt and plenty of bars & restaurants. I'd definitely stay there again if I were in Innsbruck.

The personnel is really kind and welcoming. The room was modern, nicely furnished, highly cleaned and tidied. Concerning the breakfast, I appreciated the food offered (basic but satisfying) and the service, nice and caring. Maybe only one remark: the "fried smell" coming from the dining room was too persistent and not so enjoyable in the morning. Nevertheless, I strongly advise staying in this hotel. It is just a few steps away from the city center and is well connected with public transports.

This property's location is fantastic! A great base for exploring the altstadt of Innsbruck. The staff were all excellent and kind, and the breakfast offerings were good. Parking at the nearby garage was convenient enough and reasonable. The elevator is tiny, however, so traveling with more than two people and luggage means multiple trips. Would definitely recommend this property to others!

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). Overall the location was good and very close to the essential sites of Innsbruck. We parked in the neighboring parking garage (for 22 euros). The breakfast was great. I wasn’t expecting a cappuccino, latte and made to order eggs and bacon. It was great!

Our 3rd stay here so they must be doing something right. Great location by the river a few minutes from the old centre. It’s not Tyrol cute & pretty but it provides ample room space etc for a short stop-over, easy check-in and great breakfasts from the on-site cafe downstairs. Sensible price too for city centre location.

Excellent hotel in central Innsbruck. Far better than its basic name. We had a family room which was clean, well appointed and with its own balcony. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was a very short walk to the old town and river and easy to get to from the airport on the F bus to the University 4 minutes walk away. Staff also friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it and stay again.

The room had a balcony with a table and chairs with mountains view and colorful building by the river bank. Beautiful view at the sunset. I really liked it also the room had very nice interior decoration and set up with enough space. The front desk was super pleasant and helpful. Great location, walkable to old town, and several attractions. public transportation stations (mainly buses) very close. The breakfast was good the only thing I didn't like was about the breakfast staff they seemed a bit rude other than that everything was really good and I liked the hotel!!
