Nice location but quality might not worth it

The location is very near to the hospital and city. Have the basic amenities in the room.

The soundproof is very bad, whenever someone close the door, my whole headboard shake. You can hear all the sound of cars and tram, better to use earplugs to sleep good.

The location was very good. We parked nearby in an overnight carpark for the whole day and just walked around. So accessible and close to everything. Basic and functional. Value for money

Comfortable and cozy

The room was clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They let us leave our bags and suitcases locked in a safe place before check in and even offered us information to help with car parking lots locations and gave us activities brochures. The space is perfectly organized and comfortable with clean towels, a hairdryer, along with a desk. It’s perfect for trips with family or for work trips. What’s more is the location, sited just above the Christmas market on the river and 5 minutes walk from the center. The location is also brimmed with good food places and shops of any kind, including also a sizable mall. Not to mention the ski lifts, ski runs and ski resort reachable by public transport (I think) and often by bicycles by locals.

The room was fairly large and very clean. The view from the room had a nice view of the mountains. It was also very quiet at night.

Big, comfortable and clean room with an awesome view. Breakfast was good with a nice selection, and not too pricy as many other hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a really great location.

Just one staff member was not too friendly at first, which is a shame since the others were so good and the overall experience was super besides that. The room is not super cosy since it's very simple and doesn't have any soft bed light e.g.

Good rooms but pathetic management

The hotel rooms are good, especially if you take the rear ones, but the communication with the hotel is more than appalling. NEVER take their word for anything. Only trust written agreements and request EXTRA clarity. I had to pay my room twice due to what they claim is "misunderstanding" (I am an Austrian native and manage an organisation of 10 people. I am not sure I usually misunderstand. In any case this has never happened to me before.). I shall on no condition go back.

Good location close to restaurants and funicular!

This was a reasonabley priced place to stay within walking distance of the funicular to go hike in the mountians!

Since we are a family, the glass walls to the bathroom were okay but if you were traveling with co workers, that could be wierd.

Awesome! When we visit Innsbruck again, we are going to stay here again.

Exceptionally friendly, kind, helpful, and accommodating staff. Awesome balcony, breathtaking view, spacious room, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. The hotel is situated next to the river and quite central so public transportation can be reached easily as well as sights, shopping and restaurants.

They changed the breakfast option from buffet to croissants and sweet cereals, which is not our cup of tea for various reasons.

They waited for me despite my very late check-in! And they do have a self-check-in option in case you come in really late. Location is very central - very near the city centre (although a bit of a distance from the train station, but still works! very walkable if no heavy luggage).

Perhaps the open-concept shower? As it leaves the toilet floor wet, predisposing those with mobility issues to slips and falls. Nonetheless, not that big of a deal, really. Hotel was a really good place to stay!

Glass walled bathroom, really functional and clean. However if you need the loo it the night you will disturb your partner with the light. Paid extra for parking on site, space 7 isn’t a full parking space, this impacts on bay 6

All in all, I had a lovely stay at the Basic Hotel and I'd choose that hotel again for future visits

The hotel is located right in the centre and super close to the Inn river. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the value for money proposition is very good! The breakfast place is also very nice and the buffet selection is decent. The room is big with a generous office desk and in my case also with a really nice view!

The only aspect that could be better is the mattress that was sloping down toward the middle of the one-person bed. Additionally, the message exchange on Booking.com was a bit harsh which I blame on the English language not being the staff's mother tongue as the reception and restaurant personnel on location were super lovely.

Greatnasic hotel in center of Innsbruck

Easy check-in and check-out. Very friendly staff. Central location near many points of interest.

Wi-fi in first floor was not available in some parta of the bedroom. Besides it was not good, couldn’t load search results, so that I had to switch back to mobile internet. Power outlet just at one side of the double-sized bed.
