Lovely stay at the Bon Alpina

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, in a lovely setting with excellent transport links into Innsbruck. The staff were wonderful especially Jeffery the barman and Michaela our waitress. They were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing really except perhaps there could have been more choices for dinners.

Good hotel with lovely indoor/ outdoor pool.

Great location in a lovely village. Nursery slope about 5 minutes walk, main ski resort a 10 minute bus ride or a 20 minute walk through the woods. We had a lovely, clean room with separate sitting area, hallway, terrace and bathroom with both shower and bath. Spa and swimming pool really nice and all areas of hotel clean and well maintained. Food good, the chef made me vegan options for dinner- thank you!

Check out a little stressful! Man on desk said we hadn't paid for the two drinks we had had during our last evening meal. We had paid the waiter at the table and luckily had the receipt. There seemed to be too many ways of paying which maybe made it hard for them to keep track. Whilst we were distracted, sorting this out, the poor taxi driver- a lovely man just trying to be helpful, picked up a suitcase, which wasn't ours, and put it in the boot without us noticing. I have no idea where it came from as I didn't notice any other guests in the lobby and didn't see the suitcase until the taxi driver opened the boot at the airport- felt so sorry for him! I can only assume it was left luggage as I did read on another review that left luggage is not put in a secure place. So, keep your receipts for drinks at dinner- or pay for them all at checkout and be mindful of where any left luggage is kept and you should have a really great stay!

Looking forward to visiting again

First time I’ve stayed here in Igls and it didn’t disappoint. I was too early for check in but the staff let me leave my bags so I could get outside and explore. Will definitely stay again! Spa was great after a day hiking.

Walking through the restaurant after using the spa and swimming pool felt odd.

Not a great experience

Location was nice, public transport is available at 2 minute walking distance.

At night when I reached the hotel, the gentleman at the reception wouldn’t answer my calls, I had to walk down to the reception a couple of times , he didn’t know where the light switch was located in the room, when I tried to complain about the hair dryer stopped working he says nobody has ever complained about it. The shower was not good, sometimes it would run out of water and the hot cold temperature control was also not great. When I tried to inform , the gentleman said you can talk to my manager tomorrow I can’t help now. The other gentlemen at the reception during the day were good, they were helpful also.

Spider nets in rooms, impossible to find a parking spot, overpriced

We traveled by car and when we arrived there were no available parking spaces dedicated to the hotel. The girls at reception sent us to check 3 different places to look for available parking slots, but all of them were occupied. When we finally found a parking spot and got back to the hotel we were asked to free the parking spot and were sent to leave our car on the underground parking of Spar store. Finding the parking took us more than an hour as the result. When we finally got to our room we saw a spider net near the window. When next morning we went down for breakfast which was included in the price we found out that almost half of the tables were empty but reserved. That is why it was difficult to find a free table as there were a lot people looking for a place to seat and have breakfast. This place is too expensive to put up with all these inconveniences and mess.

Cut the price in half and that will be more or less fair price for this hotel

Nice hotel and good location, too bad rooms are not good noise isolated & air conditioned

Its overall a nice hotel, the pool area is cute. The location is good-only 15min to the city center.

We could hear every step from our neighbours and every flush of water. The lack of air conditioning means you have to sleep with the window opened, so you hear everything around (all the neighbors just walking around or talking until longer than 1am) and the church bells woke us up at 6 & 7 am. Needless to say we didn't sleep well.

It was a pleasant stay and the breakfast is very good. The availability of transportation nearby to hotel to the city helped to commute without a problem. Enjoyed the scenery around and the quiet environment.

There was no tea making arrangements in the room .

The location was ideal. The reception team were very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. The restaurant staff were kind and friendly.

The hotel seats you at one specific table for your entire stay at the hotel. Being a solo traveller, the table assigned to me was in the corner of a small room in the restaurant for 1 person and quite small. There was never a menu for the dinner on the table as other tables had and sometimes no napkins etc. It felt a forgotten table. I was also shouted at by one staff member for not having signed the bill for the dinner i had the previous night. I was not told the procedures and felt that was a bit rude. If I have a specific table for the entire stay, the costs for any extras should be on my bill. On my last morning, someone else was seated at my table so not sure what that was about. I asked for another table and was kindly given by one of the ladies on the floor. So I am saying this as good for people to be aware and not get similar treatment. Otherwise everyone else was very nice.

Really good hotel in Innsbruck and such good price!

I have absolutely no words about Hotel Bon Alpina. From the check in until check out was everything absolutely amazing! It's so good to stay in a place where you don't have to worry about anything else but just enjoy the holidays! Breakfast was superb, dinner with different menus every day and the bar with live music sometimes was just the cherry on top of the cake! They have a dedicated places for skiing equipment and the bus that goes to the mountains stops in front of the hotel. I would for sure recommend and if any time I go back to Innsbruck I will stay there!!

The Hotel treated us like a lower class because we stayed for just one night! We were not told until we checked out we had a complementary breakfast! But this is one of our favorite hotels! We will give them another chance!

The perfect value for the money we paid!

Very well cleaned and big rooms! also the SPA was very good

the kitchen wasn’t as good, and the dining area was a bit poor and old, and it didn’t have any music. sadly we were in an area with very few people, and it was a bit akward. but the staff was very helpful and kind so it went good at the end.

The breakfast was limited choice but the eggs are delicious. First floor is right next to parking lot. Open windows are impossible due to noise in the morning.
