Nice hotel - amazing staff!

The most friendly staff ever! Michaella is a star! Very nice hotel, rooms are good size, bathrooms are somewhat dated but nothing broken and all very clean. The restaurant is nice, food is good. Breakfast is good - plenty of choice. The sauna is a big plus (after skiing). The pool is ok for kids. Ski areas are closeby, doable by bus (I understand) but we had a car, so can't judge (but closest slope is 5 mins away). Good parking. I would definitely recommend this hotel - we will come back :)

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Food from the dinner menu was excellent, especially the smoked trout! View from room was very n ice.

It is not super close to the heart of Innsbruck but easily accessible with a car and plenty of free parking for guests at the hotel. If you don't have a car it would be a tram ride that may take 15 to 30 minutes, from what we were told. We drove into town and it didn't take long (15 minutes/20 max from hotel to city center).

Lovely hotel, great staff

Good quiet location at Innsbruck city fringe; about 5 minutes’ walking distance to station for train into Innsbruck. Very friendly staff, especially in the dining room. We had breakfast and dinner there over 2 days, and were very well looked after. They really made us feel welcomed!

Nothing much, really, but we did notice that the kitchen needs an improved ventilation system. Hopefully, the owner can give this some attention as the cooking smell did get into the corridors, but thankfully, not into the rooms.

A suggested location if you want to spend some time in Innsbruck

It is a very good hotel in the hills just outside Innsbruck, therefore suitable both to visit the city and to to have outdoors activities in the area (just a couple of kilometers away there is gondola lift available (summer for bikepark, winter for sky). The staff is great and available to help you (for example they found a safe location where to put my ebike). Great restaurant where we had tow dinners based on local food. Private parking. At walke distance there is the center of the village with some shops. The room was very pleasant and quiet

The bathroom was obsolete, a little bit smelling bad. The breakfast was good but not exceptional

The seating arrangements at breakfast are carefully laid out. Due to a language miscommunication we sat in the wrong place and were quite severe told off by the staff which I wasn’t expecting and found quite embarrassing in public.

Lovely and beautiful!

Lovely and beautiful place, with such a lovely staff! It was so hot and we asked for fans, they immediately supplied them. The food at the restaurant was superb!

I didn’t realize it was kind of far from Innsbruck, but that was my fault. So just a heads up, it’s a bit of a drive/train ride, but you can go for the day.

Amazing, really planning to come back.

This small family run hotel is a gem. The location is magical, the views of the mountains stunning. There is a tram station 1 minute from the hotel that runs to Innsbruck every 30 minutes (a 30 minute ride) which is really convenient. There is also a gondola that takes you up the mountain, 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast was quite good (no sausages though!). The dinner options very nice and big. The garden is quite nice also, to have a beer with your dinner. Last, the bathroom was excellent and clean. Also the views from the balconies. Stunning.

I would prefer if there were more dinning options in the village. There is only on pizzeria (nice one) that opens only for dinner. However, there is a super market that sells all you need, even cooked food (I loved it, sooooo convenient).

All the details, since you arrive the reception was waiting for us, all the process was very fast, the room its ok and they have a good breakfast, not the quantity but the quality (with a lot of good details)

The caring character of the staff and manager. The food catered for my lactose free, Gluten free and diabetic needs. It was in good reach of city centre of Innsbruck.

quiet stay just outside of Innsbruck

Quiet and traditional (but nice traditional, not old and ugly) stay just outside of Innsbruck. The staff is extremely kind , the place is super clean. there are no cars driving around and there is no noise . you can reach Innsbruck easily with public transport , the stop is only a short walk from the hotel. the village is very cute and lies at the feet of one of the mountains. you can walk to the bergbahn that brings to the muterrer alm. we had our dog with us and she also loved it. dogs pay 10 euros per day . breakfast is nice

Very good

Staff was incredibly friendly. The lady that welcome us was super kind! We arrived quite late and nevertheless we were provided dinner and also manage to use the amazing swimming pool in the wellness area! Breakfast was also very good and with a lot of variety. Perfectly located at only 3 minutes de-tour from the highway. We spent one night on our way and for sure will go back again on next travelling.

Room was small but functional. I have no complains, just a suggestion to get bigger pillows.

The staff was, is amazing! So gentle, caring and friendly, helpful and sweet. The shower in my bathroom, amazing, and very clean. 2 options of showering, perfect. Treatment of sauna and such a big indoor swimming pool. Definitely a recomandation! Also what I found really nice, besides the good red wines, combined with freshly made kaisersmarren (try this please!), there were gluten free options like good gf bread at breakfast. Some more vegan spreads would be nice the next time. I would definitely come back to Mutters, just for this hotel and Axamer Lixum ski and snowboard mountains nearby ^^ That's also a beautiful (bus)ride. Muttersalm berghbahen is also very nearby (10 minutes ride) but can be icey during the day. Axamer and Seefeld tend to have to most sun during the day. Enjoy!

I found the choice of lighting in my room to bright, definitely in the bathroom and in the bedroom. So more romantic or warmer colour light would be nice.

A welcoming family run hotel near local skiing and Innsbruck with good facilities and great food.

The staff were friendly and responsive; the booking and departing administration was smooth; the restaurant was excellent (we ate a la carte) and offered a good breakfast; the wellness pool and sauna were well kept facilities; the hotel was just a short drive from three local ski resorts and there was a regular, modern tram connection to Innsbruck.

The restaurant was too hot and we would have liked the Wi-Fi to be stronger in our room.

Lovely hotel and very much recommended

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean with a nice view towards the mountains. The breakfast had a good selection and the one evening meal we booked as extra, was very nice. The hotel was a 5-minute walk from the Tram connection into Innsbruck which was really convenient and free, as we were staying at the hotel :)

The (partially obscured) glass door to the bathroom was strange but perhaps usual for Austria, though not seen at other hotels that we stayed in on this trip.
