Highly recommended

The hotel staff was helpful and accommodating. The room and bed were quite spacious, and the view from the balcony was simply majestic. Breakfast offered a wide range of options. While the hotel is not located in the city center, there is a tram stop just two blocks away. Ambras Castle is only a 20-minute walk from the hotel.

Friendly, comfy, delicious and with a gorgeous view!

Hotel Charlotte had great reveiws and they certainly lived up to them. Exceptionally friendly staff, perfectly clean, great breakfast and amazing view. Shout out especially to the Putzfrau who was so friendly and helpful! Thank you! We had a great stay and were very sad to leave, we cant wait to come back!

It would have been good to receive a little more information about the restaurant at the front (opening times, menu, discount for hotel guests etc) but basically there is little to critique. It was a great little place for a weekend away!

I loved my stay! It was just hard not having internet.

The staff were lovely! I liked how easy it was to travel to the centre.

My room had really bad wifi, which was really frustrating for me as my phone data wasn’t working. I often had to go downstairs to the foyer area to use the wifi. I couldn’t use it in my room.

Budget friendly and basic stay

Fantastic breakfast. Basic but budget friendly rooms. Very close to the nearest tram station. Beautiful views from the balcony and window. Highly recommended for budget travelers. A day ticket for innsbruck helps cover all the areas.

Less choice of food for lunch and dinner. Some toiletries missing, but was provided upon request.

The location is good, the rooms are big and clean, free parking.

The rooms are not soundproofed and early in the morning, there was a lot of noise, coming from an adjacent room, where cleaning was being done. The heating was poor. The bathroom had a bad smell and the breakfast was kind of poor.

More than a 4 star hotel, it was like a guest house or 3 stars, maximum. The breakfast could be a lot better. There was a "lobby" more like a tv room. There, and also in the room, the furniture was old.

Never again, loud party preferred to the quite stay of the guests!

Location and breakfast

On the day of our stay, the Hotel organized a Carneval party. Nothing mentioned on the website otherwise we would have never booked.Loud music with loudspeakers, microphones and lots of people singing and screaming until 1:00! If I was the owner/manager of the hotel I would have never added availability on that day so no one could book a room. We complained with the reception, they said party stops at midnight, we will send an email to the owner, unreal! Because of the party, of course they did not think to block some slots for the guests cars and we had to park far from the Hotel ( we booked the hotel also for the free available parking!) Beside this unfortunate event, the room’s floor is old and therefore makes noise at every step. Bad water pressure and hot water was only shortly available.

location is good, shopping mall and restaurants just walking distance from the hotel. tram stop near the hotel. breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and nice.

The room was smelling like smoke when we got there, the walls are too thin so anyone talking in the next room can disturb you. The water was not hot.

A simple abode with friendly service close to the palace Ambras

This is a nice, traditional hotel with a beautiful location on the outskirts of Innsbruck but quite easily reachable by public transport. Traditional Austrian breakfast. From there, it is just a short walk to Schloss Ambras, a castle-turned-palace, which lies in a beautiful park with excellent views of the valley and the Nordkette mountains. There is a distillery next door.

The room is very simple, but good space.
