Holiday Inn Innsbruck

Nice room. I think all rooms have small balcony. Very nice breakfast with mountains view. The bus stops nearby, but the bus goes every 30 min, you'll have to walk for more center-bound buses. Overall not bad for a stay for two.

It is far from the city center. You will need to take a bus to get anywhere. The mattress was very hard to sleep on the side. The location is in the big shop area. Not very pleasant and deserted at night.

Like the location & calmness of this hotel . The view from our window is stunning.

Easy access throughout Innsbruck with public transport and check in and out really easy now, but the system isn't integrated, 'is this your first time here?' Surely they should know I have stayed recently and fairly regularly for the last 10 yrs! It is a really good hotel, but some small details sadly let it down...

Not as good as previously. Last time I was there, a few weeks back, I went to the bar for at drink and a toasty at 21.00. The barman said 'kitchen closed at 21.30'. I said it's 21.00, he just said 'no food' which was very unhelpful and a little abrupt. So I just bought a drink and had to buy a chocolate bar from the vending machine upstairs. Sadly the produce got stuck, so didn't even get that as had run out of cash and felt a little intimidated going and complaining. Breakfast has always been a real plus here. But this time a few days ago, they have now removed the option of fresh boiled eggs so only scrambled and when I got there at 08.30 they were dried up a little and unappetising. In the past,many years ago, I seem to remember eggs were cooked to order, but I may be wrong. Also we used to get a bottle of water in the room. Sadly no more. Not big issues, but still issues.

The room was clean and comfortable. Online check-in and check-out were convenient and smooth.

For a 4-star hotel, the lack of amenities was disappointing: no bathrobes or slippers despite having a spa, no in-room toiletries, and no Wi-Fi provided, even though a network was visible. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special, and the very limited staff interaction made the stay feel impersonal.
