Nice stay in the centre of Igls.

The rooms and the pool. Good location in the village centre.

One of the reception staff was curt on arrival and departure. Given that the booking errors were on their side made this worse. The other receptionist however was nice and very helpful No gluton free options on the money. The lack of power in the shower was annoying.

Really enjoyed it.

The room was lovely, very large and comfortable. Food was excellant both breakfast and evening meal.

Had some issues getting in the car park because the barrier was stuck but staff sorted it out after 10 minutes. She was very helpful. We would have liked some information in our room on the "rules" for the sauna and pool. Facilities very good though.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

Honestly we didnt like anything. We were kept waiting at reception, though when receptionist did return she was friendly and apologised. That said we then paid upfront for the room as we would be leaving early in the morning. She clearly didnt book it properly as I received a phone call the next day accusing us of not paying. I explained we had and even sent proof of payment. Despite this they had booking.com charge us again. I am still trying to resolve and get my money back.

Our room was run down (damp patches on ceiling), Not been dusted in ages, beds tired and sagging, towels ripped, bathrobes threadbare. The balcony was covered by an advertising screen - showcasing a new development that will be going up on the site. Do not be fooled by the 4 star rating. I'm sure Sporthotel Igls was once a glorious 4 star hotel but that day has long since past. They are running it into the ground before converting it to flats. I emailed the hotel with proof of our payment and for a comment on the state of the hotel before posting this review and have been ghosted for over a week now (sent a follow up when booking.com charged me AGAIN for the room). Still nothing. DO NOT STAY HERE. It is a scam of a hotel.

Lovely hotel in a very picturesque village.

Lovely location and alpine chalet style architecture. Rooms were excellent and the views exceptional from my balcony. The staff were helpful and the underground parking was a great help with our group of motorcyclists.

An attractive and comfortable hotel with wonderful views in a very convenient location.

A very pretty hotel close to Innsbruck centre, with an attractive terrace and a welcome spa/pool area. Amazing mountain views from some of the rooms; very comfortable beds and smart bathrooms. Easy free parking too. Igls has some good restaurants and bars too.

We had to ask for the tea and coffee facilities, but these were provided quickly.

Wonderful hotel in Igls

The location of the hotel is superb and really nice rooms, which are well equipped and decent size bathrooms. The staff were also super courteous and friendly and a wonderful breakfast in the morning.

The mattresses from the foldout beds were really of a poor quality/thickness and one could feel the springs beneath.

Spoil yourself in the middle of nature

Beautiful big room with a balcony, incredible views. A charming village with lots of hikes and cycle routes in the area, and a sauna to wind down at the end of the day. A delicious and very generous breakfast to start it all again.

The wellness garden needed a bit of love.

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Out of town for Innsbruck but good public transport (buses and trams). Free parking was a bonus too.

There is allocated parking at the back of hotel but had to go around no hotel access from parking. I can see that this is a work in progress with the construction happening

Beautiful and quiet stay in the mountains

Lovely location in the mountains, not so far from Innsbruck. Spacious rooms, nice spa but a small swimming pool. The balcony with the mountain view was lovely. Might go back when it is snowing. It was very quiet and cozy throughout the day, The breakfast was ok but having a sparkling wine for breakfast was a nice touch.

The checkin time is at 4 PM and checkout is 11AM and I was given a call at sharp 11 to check out. Since I stayed only for a night I thought it was unfair to not have such late checkin but early checkout. The breakfast is good if you eat sausages and ham and meat but for a vegetarian it did not feel worth the price. There was no one at the spa to help with towels or no instructions, I went to the reception to ask about towels and bathrobes and had to carry them myself to the spa.

If you don't go for the stay at the hotel (but e.g. snowboarding), it's totally ok

The swimming and sauna area were ok although not attended and although there were no towels available anymore. I liked the location that was quite close to the station by car.

I really didn't like the parking arrangement, especially the underground parking that looked like a "spelunke" and which I was told would cost extra. Also the inflexibility of staff regarding payment, and the unusual amount of stress every morning for breakfast that seemed so incredibly disorganized somehow.

Cockroach, old cigarette smoke in the lobby, breakfast - the tables were not cleaned, mess not only on left tables, but also at the food counters, warm milk/youghurt, food was not restocked. Common balcony with neighbouring rooms

Acceptable transfer hotel but poor facilities

- The bed was comfortable - The check-in and checkout was done quickly - There was free parking

- The rooms were very hot (not even a fan in the room) and it was difficult to sleep in summer weather. - The room that was given to us was overcrowded with objects, which reduced the overall space in the room. - The bathroom area was full of mold and not the cleanest - We were provided a half empty soap dispenser that barely covered our needs. - The shower pressure is reduced under the excuse of wanting to be ecologically friendly but in the end it requires 2-3 times longer to take a shower... so not eco friendly nor a good customer experience.

We stayed in the suite, which was newly renovated. Spa and Pool area also fresh and renovated. Serviceminded front desk staff.

- Breakfast was okay, but just about - Be advised that the Church next to the hotel is ringing its bell from 0700AM to 10PM every 15min :-)

Very good value for money, I can recommend for overnight or longer stay as well.

The room's interior design is very nice. The view from the balcony was amazing. There is a coffe machine and capsules in the room. Private parking is available behind the hotel (first you need to check in, the card for the room opens then the gate). The wellness ( a small pool and a sauna with showers and a chill room) is free of charge, very cosy and open until 21:00.

The restaurant should be avoided. Unprofessional and slow service, poor food and overpriced, You can find much better nearby.

The guy at reception was extremely polite and helpful!! Nice and clean place to stay. Breakfast is one of the best so far!!!! I would like to come one more time!

There were no key to bathroom. It’s not good when you have kids with you 🤪 Doors are a bit too old, I would like to renovate/repair them.

4th time staying in this hotel- 1st time since Covid and the refurbishment. Breakfast buffet used to be 10/10 but now it’s just 5/10. Disappointing breakfast area. Too small. Queues. Juice not fresh and watery. Not enough coffee machines. Hot and cold buffet selection not as good as before.

Handy, very pretty location. Nice walking.

Beautiful views. Lovely place to walk. Fabulous little arty gift shop and local ski hire nearby. Excellent transport, bus to Innsbruck approx 20 mins. Bus to ski 12mins.

Some building work (renovation) ongoing. Our door lock broke. I'd prefer to have some coffee making facilities in the room. BUT don't be put off. The room was huge, clean and comfortable with really lush views.

Exceptional

The room is very new, compare to most of the hotels I have stayed in Austria. Parking is east and convenient. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Not that I don't like. but the restaurant is a bit exclusive. I booked the room during my road trip and needed to make a stop (i.e., this stay is not expected). It was in the evening and I am hungry after driving all day. There are not much options at that hours (7pm I think), so I went down to a restaurant, only the staff told me I need to reserve a table, but he can make an exception for me... I didn't really plan this and how could I know I need a table there.
