The location is not bad and the rooms look pleasant.
The rooms are very small, everything is very small!
Self check-in okay, but not all the room cards worked!

Lovely authentic character
Handy for train station
All good

The design and decoration throughout was great. The room was small but had everything we needed (minus somewhere to hang towels inside the bathroom).
It was so noisy. The bed squeaked and moved with every tiny movement and the first night sounded like the people upstairs were running around their room non-stop. It was so loud we couldn't sleep. We asked if there was an upgrade room as it was our honeymoon but did not get a reply.

Right in downtown. Close to all the restaurants and the west train station. The owner was super nice and responsive. They have done a real nice job converting this old building into a hotel. Preserving its authentic vintage feel. Heat works really well.
Nothing. It's an old house with creaky floors, but that's expected.

Nothing
Old and I did not expect it to like that, it feels out dated like 1920s furniture + poor quality + no elevator + poor toilets and no door locks + noisy, I couldn’t sleep.

Room design is modern
I have bad feeling and not worth spending. Room is small without table, toilet has no hanger for clothes, no facial paper except toilet paper, no reception/caretakers, bed is terribly soft. I want to have a refund honestly.

Its at a great location, the free coffee vouchers was a plus .
Although its the style of the hotel but more lights in the room would help

A lovely hotel in a great location to access all the facilities and areas of Interlaken, but quiet at the same time. We could walk everywhere from the hotel. The self check-in worked well, and our room was clean and cosy. A couple of small recommendations I would make is to have an extra mirror in the bedroom (there was only one mirror in the bathroom), a small shelf in the bathroom for toiletries, and to have bedside reading lamps on both sides of the bed (ours only had one bedside lamp).
See above, just some small recommendations

Comfortable family room, great location close to station, kitchen available for guests, place to leave luggage before check in, easy self check in system with virtual key.
No airco but fan was enough even when +30 degrees (attic room), tiny bathroom with no place to hang towels or clothes but enough place to hang stuff in the room, a bit noisy (church bell every :30, :45 and full hour in the middle of the night).

It was a very pleasant accommodation experience. It's very convenient for those who love cooking. We stayed on the fourth floor. When we opened the window, we could see the beautiful street. It felt great.
When looking for a room, I hope to be given clearer hints.

Location is close to the train station. The room is small, but cute and comfortable.
We traveled all over Switzerland, and this was the most expensive hotel out of them all. The worst one we stayed in too… The value of money is just not there. The hotel is fine and comfortable for the most part but overpriced. The hotel does not have an elevator, but we thought we lucked out getting a first floor room. We only had to haul our luggage up one floor. However, the ceiling/floor is so thin above us. Every step the guests above us took shook our whole room. We did not get much peace and quiet or sleep during our stay.

Easy check in. Great location. Daily room service was great. Accomodating host. Free chocolates on arrival and coffee vouchers was very nice.
No iron for clothes. Rooms and bathrooms extremely small. No storage space for clothes. No coffee kettles or tv in room. However, a common kitchen available downstairs.

Location.
Full kitchen with some basic kitchen supplies- though not sure if previous guests left them or hotel provided them.
Easy checkin.
Bathroom doesn’t have sink, need to cross 3 rooms to get to sink.
No late check out allowed on request.
Luggage room is not locked.

The self check in and the being able to access the property and my room from my phone.
The beds was so comfortable, the property it was clean. The aesthetics was great. The staff was amazing and friendly.
Didn’t have a microwave in the room but found out there was a guess kitchen the last night of our stay. So it was okey.

Location is only 5 minutes walk from the Interlaken west station. The room is quite small but fair enough for the average price room in switzerland (As we tried to compare to others, which will get shared bathroom / shared houses in the same range of price)
Bathroom is clean, i like the soap + shampoo provided. We got room no 5 which in 2nd floor (lucky enough as we need to bring our luggage through stairs, rather than in 3rd floor).
They clean the room every day, so we got daily towels changes. Service was good, self checkin ran very smooth.
Tap water was very fresh and drinkable - they suggest interlaken as one of the best water source. And also fan provided (no Air Conditioning).
+ bonus voucher to redeem in the cofee shop
Overall it was a great stay. Though summer holidays might be in great demand, but you can consider choosing No 8 Boutique Hotel in Interlaken

The hotel has an excellent location — close to a parking garage, cafes, restaurants, shops, and with beautiful views. The self-check-in process was very convenient: we received a door code and were able to register using the tablet inside. There's also the option to complete the check-in online a day in advance. The entire place had a lovely atmosphere — big compliments to the owners, it's clear a lot of care has gone into creating a great experience.
We were traveling as a group of four, including two teenagers, and chose a family room. The biggest issue was the creaky bunk bed — it squeaked even when simply lying still and taking a deep breath. It might be worth the owners taking a closer look at that.
Also — and this isn’t the hotel’s fault — but something to keep in mind when staying in this town is that the church bells ring every 15 minutes throughout the night.

Super clean and cozy style. Everything is compact and extremely well maintained.
Nothing. Jan has a great team and system to run the units. Very impressed. Coffee wine bar is also very hip and staff is nice.

The room was well-decorated, the beds comfortable, and we loved having use of the guest kitchen. Directions and instructions were great! We visited during a heat wave, so the fans were very helpful! The area was convenient to public transportation, which we appreciated.
It was hot when we visited, so we needed to keep the windows open. However, the bar noise and smoke and the street traffic (including the horse carriage) were a bit disruptive at bedtime. Access to an iron, as well as paper "to go" coffee cups would have been nice.

It has a hostel vibe, with a shared kitchen, an attached bar and some shared bathrooms along with a guest book and cute notes from travelers in the kitchen. The building itself is pretty cool. We liked the large, concrete spiral staircase, the bar and the rooftop porch with its spectacular view. We had the family room on the fourth floor, which had a double bed in one room and a separate area with bunk beds in another room. It was a little tight in the room with the double bed because there isn’t much room to put your stuff, but overall we felt that we had enough space for the 3 of us, except for in the bathroom. The location was great; right by the river and about a 5 minute walk to the Interlaken West train station.
The hotel is close to shops and restaurants. We appreciated the 2 free coffee vouchers for each day of our stay. The cafe where you get your free coffee is along the river with a gorgeous view. We also appreciated the fans in the room because it was hot during our stay and there is no A/C (usually you don’t need it). We also liked that there is a shared bathroom in the hallway outside of the family room.
Just FYI- the West side of Interlaken seems more family oriented and quiet, whereas the East side seems to have more going on and is a bit more commercial and consequently is noisier. The East side is where the train station (Interlaken Oest) is that takes you to all of the mountain stops. You can get there in a few minutes from Interlaken West train station.
At $424 USD per night, this room was too expensive for what you get. Also, the digital check in process was tricky because it requires several steps and it’s not really clear when you can start the process. Phone access to the hotel and your room is a BAD idea. You can be touring the area all day and by the time you get home, your phone could be dead and then you can’t get in. Also, the webpage or app used to open the doors sometimes logs you out, so then you have to dig around looking for your reservation number to log in again. It was annoying and my son got locked out because of this. Finally, the host did not respond to my messages in a timely manner and did not communicate with us during our stay.

We love the room it was so nicely decorated and just made you feel at home. The location was excellent and being able to have the shared kitchen and fridge downstairs made it convenient.

The location was amazing and the surrounding area is gorgeous, so many things in walking distance. Staff was very prompt and communication before and during our stay was exceptional.
No view of the river.

The location is wonderful by the flowing lake. The beds were comfortable, a bit on the softer side. The shared kitchen was great for us with kids. We could make dinner ourselves. The shower was great 👍!
The basin should be bigger. Very difficult to wash your face and gurgle.

Great location, lovely clean and comfortable room.
The bar downstairs had loud music playing until very late each night (we did stay on a Friday and Saturday night, so not sure if that is every night of the week?) If you are a light or sensitive sleeper you really need ear plugs to block the noise.

The location was fantastic the family room was a great size. Easy self checkin and checkout. The owner was very helpful and the Spatz bar was a great place to sit and relax after a long day of hiking or sightseeing.
All was great☺️

Disappointing and don’t recommend!
We stayed here expecting a peaceful night after a long day of travel, but instead were kept awake by Extremely loud music from the bar downstairs. The beat was so strong we could feel it through the wall near the bed. We didn’t sleep at all, which completely threw off our plans the next day.
We tried contacting the host during the night, but got no response.
This kind of noise level is absolutely unacceptable for any accommodation, especially one that presents itself as a welcoming place for travelers.
Unfortunately, the experience left us physically and emotionally exhausted, and ruined what should have been a beautiful memory of Interlaken.

Great location, very clean room although a bit small. Comfortable, would stay here again, nice quiet area with restaurants close by and not too far a walk to train station.
Check in was a bit difficult as they did not have my payment through booking. All got sorted quickly.
