Aparthotel Krone - Self Check-In

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment & it was amazing! Spacious, modern, stylish & very clean. There were 2 bathrooms which was handy for the four of us, fully equipped kitchen, huge velux windows (we were lucky enough on non-cloudy days to enjoy awesome mountain views) & electric blinds together with a flat screen tv (with all channels-Netflix, Prime etc) & inclusive WiFi which worked instantly. The self check in was easy & convenient not having to rush to get there at a particular time and this system can only work if there are responsive management behind the scenes-service was exemplary via WhatsApp communication with any questions being answered within a few minutes. They also kindly set up one of the sofas in the living room for us as a bed prior to arrival which meant whoever wanted to watch late night tv could do so in total comfort without disturbing those sleeping in bedroom. The sofa bed & all the beds were really comfortable which is always a bonus! The building and entrance lobby with lift was also slick & the location was perfect-next to the river & surrounded by nice & varied places to eat from breakfast through to dinner. Within 10 mins walk we were at the station or the main street populated with shops, horse drawn carriages, paragliders & mountain views! Thoroughly recommend Aparthotel Krone & look forward to staying in this apartment whenever we come to Interlaken.

Booking.com states it was for 2 adult and 1 child which we paid for, but somehow shows up as 2 adults only on the host end. We get pestered for paying additional costs where no set of towels or bed sheets prepared for our child anyway. This should be dealt with between host and booking.com, rather than stressing customers who booked correctly.

Super clean, beautiful, nice town about 10mins walk from Interlaken West Station.

Surprised there was a flight of stairs upon entering! 2 of our lugguage were big and heavy. Wish there's at least 1 full length mirror! With us 4 women, there's only mirrors in the bathrooms. One of the toilets had a weak flush and the shower goes from hot to cold and the drain was clogged. They fixed it. The flush was still a little weak. The remote to the TV didn't work so we unplugged it. They say it didn't work because it was unplugged!

Location was great. Nice place as a place to sleep. We didn’t spend much time in the room. Very small bathroom.

I really enjoyed my stay at Aparthotel Krone. Everything was clean and well-organized. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we made great use of it. The location is right in the heart of Interlaken, less than a 15-minute walk to the cable car leading to Harder Kulm. The view is exceptional, overlooking the river. Right next to the apartment, there’s one of the best breakfast and coffee spots in Interlaken, also with a river view. The price is reasonable considering the location and service. I highly recommend staying here, and when I return to Interlaken, I will definitely choose it again.

Very clean and great location. Easy checkin. Having Nespresso coffee pods was a nice touch. Pillows and bed were super comfortable. Room and bathroom were modern and updated. Highly recommend.

I have travelled through a few countries on this trip and stayed at various hotels. This was by far the most expensive but that is expected as everything is costly in Switzerland. My only issue though is that for this price, the shower pressure could be stronger. It was the weakest out of all the previous accommodation I’ve stayed at.

It’s cozy, quiet and clean with good location. Supermarkets and shops are nearby. Air conditioning and self-service laundry are big bonuses.

Room is a bit small, especially the bathroom. The kitchenette is only suitable for simple cooking, although the microwave oven was enough for us. Instructions on how to use the washing machines and dryers in English should be provided.

Location is central and the room is decently sized for short stays. The stove in our room was not working which was a little disappointing. It is a fully automated check in process. There are laundry and cleaning facilities available.

Wonderful location, cozy room with comfortable beds for all 3 of us.

Great location within walking distance to Interlaken West train station and supermarket. Lots of restaurants within walking distance too. Lovely area to stay, our studio room in the hotel was compact, nice and quiet and well fitted out for self catering. Hotel had a lift and washing machines to use. Self check in was efficient.

Rooms were great. Clean and comfortable. Location and views from balcony were amazing. The small kitchenette really came in handy to make breakfast.

They need to add more laundry machines as there would always be a long wait.

Good location. Clean and big bed. Laundry service. Great bathroom. Had sufficient space to put belongings around the bed, in the antree and on a small desk. Small kitchennete area with appliances and cutlery.

Kitchen top felt a bit cramped. Most of the appliances are stored in a drawer and max one of them can be on top in the same time. Street is busy and having our window open during the night was loud at times. There are 2 laundry machines and the cycle is 4 hours long - finding a free machine is not guaranteed. Entering with self checkin code was a bit of a hussle - properties should send self checkin codes a bit early, not in the last moment having us worried if our reservation is even valid. Entering the code in the room numpad was quirky - took us 10 minutes of poking and we saw our neighbors facing the same difficulties. Weird warning signs that we may be charged additionally for cleaning services?!

Location was perfect

We booked this property for specific amenity options like air conditioning and on site laundry Both were falsely advertised. You cannot control the temperature in your room even though there is an air conditioning unit. The heat was on and when we contacted the host see why the air conditioning in the unit wasn’t powering on they stated they controlled the air for the entire floor since it was cold outside they put the heat on and that couldn’t be changed. This made it difficult and uncomfortable to sleep with the heat on. There’s a washer/dryer all in one machine but it doesn’t dry your clothes and the staff and owner are aware of the issue but don’t warn you before using leaving you with very damp clothes after a two hour cycle

Spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice touch of providing umbrella for convenience. Well-equipped kitchen with oil and salt provided.

It’s rather inconvenient for early traveller when you can’t cook your breakfast before 8am.

The self catering of the apartment is exceptional. The room is spacious and comfortable. The TV has 200 channels. The kitchen has all the useful appliances. The location is 5 minutes away from the shops and Interlaken West Station is at walking distance. For Interlaken the apart hotel is good value.

From check in to check out, we have not seen any member of staff. The check in is conducted online and all instructions can be found in the room. It can be difficult for some customers.

The mattresses and the quilt cover material was very uncomfortable

With us being four people it was spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for us to sit comfortably in the shared area and the bedrooms were suitable and comfortable. There were two bathrooms which was great for four people and the kitchen had most of what we needed to cook. There was also a handy drying rack in a small separate space which was needed as it rained and we needed to dry clothes. The owner /manager was responsive and communicative; much appreciated.

The windows were automatic and would shut at different times after opening or when it started to rain- as they had a sensor. It wasn’t much of an issue yet we wanted the ventilation.
