We were not happy! We had a plan to see things and we did. Going back at the end of the day.........

We knew it was an older hotel and the staff did the best they could. The location is great.

Everything is passed its time. Work is being done on the hotel but it feels like filling patches. Breakfast very disappointing.

Bad stay at Hotel Central Continental Interlaken.

The location was fine. The hotel is old and badly needs renovation. The room was not comfortable. The electrical charging points were scarce and at very inconvenient places. The breakfast options were just ok.

We had booked a taxi for our drop to Interlaken Ost station in the morning thru the hotel front desk. The booking was made the previous day. However in the morning the taxi was not available and we discovered that the front desk lady had apparently not booked the taxi. Luckily, I was able to get a Uber taxi and could manage the situation. I would never ever stay is this hotel again.

It’s very outdated . Not even a kettle in the room to make tea. Very uncomfortable eerie feeling . Did not like the hotel room at all . Dark and gloomy . On website it said American continental breakfast - it was all cold food even the boiled eggs and baked beans were cold and hard . Worst breakfast ever had in a hotel . It was better not to serve anything .

Overall, the location and the view from the balcony were the best parts of our stay, but the hotel could use some update

The location is great — just a 5-minute walk from Interlaken West station, with a Coop supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. The room we got had a huge balcony with a beautiful view of the mountainThe room itself was quite spacious and comfortable.

However, the hotel is a bit old. The bathroom curtain didn’t look very professional — it had a Halloween print on it, which felt a bit strange. The electrical outlets also seemed quite old. The breakfast was just average, and the corridor was quite dark — when the automatic light turned off, it felt a little scary.

Management team spend more money.

Very convenient location. From train station it is very close. But management have to spend more money to upgrade hotel. Entrance to hotel is stairs, it is very hard to carry luggage’s. Coffee machine is not fixed for three days. Management does not care about it. The Notes put on bathroom door is humiliating guests. Upgrade your hotel first.

Employee does not have spirit to serve guests. They think guests they can humiliate them anyway and anytime.

Sheets were clean and good location.

Water stained ceilings, towels were small and like sand paper, soap was terrible, breakfast was not worth it, decor and rooms were failing apart, shower curtain was cheep and gross. No toilet paper in lounge bathroom, motion light in hallway was not working so hallway was very dark.

Great location, terrible noise and no blackout curtains.

Perfect location, very good value, parking price is reasonable.

No blackout curtains or shades!! Terrible!! Very poor soundproofing, people talking in the corridor sound like in my room. Staff also talk loudly in the corridor, impossible to sleep quietly after 7am.

No hotel staff to carry bags to the room, hotel room was in a poor state walls chipped paint worn off floors and cabinetry not in good shape Bathroom has only one dim light no exhaust, hand wash is like a public bathroom in a large soap container, no hotel facilities. The property is very old and outdated. We booked 3 rooms. The single room furniture is unbearable, not even as good as college dorm. The sheet looks unclean. One of the double room smells very bad, we had to open the door for a long time. The breakfast is quite mid, not a lot of things to choose from. Also the price we paid is considered high, $300 per night, I would expect the condition to be much better.

Everything was nearly perfect. Location, accessibility, personnel, clean, the view amazing, very silent location with the sound of the river flow at night, room was perfect, bathroom big and easy to use

The staff was amazing. The room had the nicest view and we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Centrally located and accessible. Again, the staff takes this over the top.

Hotel a little bit tired. No aircon so really not comfortable in the summer heat. Didn’t stay long enough to use any of the hotel facilities (had to rush, so no time). A few items in my room were in need of a little TLC. Quite expensive for the hotel’s quality level.

Unbeatable location and good facilities

The location is amazing, just a few steps away from the West train station! Very convenient. The views from my room were absolutely breathtaking and I felt safe as a solo female traveller.

Dingy well located hotel. Cannot recommend

This property is in serious need of refurbishing: painting, plastering, new bathrooms and linens, as well as a thorough cleaning. Not one thing on the breakfast buffet is made on premises. Make it yourself eggs in a small frying pan everyone else uses, hot dogs in lukewarm water and canned beans. There is some sliced questionably “fresh” fruit, and boxed cookies, a coffee machine that doles out lukewarm liquid. The rooms have decades old furnishings. The only positive one can say about this property is plenty of hot water and a central location.

Location was good

Pictures that advertise the hotel were totally misleading. They advertise a rooftop deck and it isn’t there. The room had peeling paint and other stains. The whole smelled from the cooking in the restaurant on the lower floor.

Overall, the location and view more than made up for it.

Superb location — the hotel is right in front of the station. Our balcony had a breathtaking view of the Jungfrau and the river below. It was incredibly relaxing to sit outside and listen to the sound of the flowing water. The breakfast was simple but delicious.

The room lacked a few basic amenities such as a kettle, coffee maker, and mini fridge.
