Yes, I would recommend this hotel. But be prepared to walk uphill for about 8 mins if you are coming via train to Wilderswil. Alternatively, you can call at the hotel in advance and ask for pick up options from the station if you have lot of luggage.

Great Rooms with views. Nice village with restaurants and a pub all a few minutes walk. Super breakfast with continental and eggs and bacon. Price is very reasonable. I’d come again

The hotel itself is very good, the room is clean and tidy despite a bit outdated. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included with a reasonable selection, good for an early start for any activities. The only downside (for me who is not driving) is its location. It is about 20 minutes walk from the nearest train station (wilderswil) or 10 minutes walk to the bus stop. If you have larger luggage you may consider somewhere closer to the train station.
