The accommodation is very good. It’s located close to Interlaken West Station—only about a 200-meter walk. The bathroom is shared, but there are several of them and they are very clean. On the ground floor, there is a restaurant, while the accommodation is on the upper floor. There are only stairs, so if you’re traveling with large luggage, you may need to put in a bit of effort to carry it up. The kitchen is quite large, but the cooking equipment is limited to a rice cooker and a microwave, suitable only for simple meals. If you plan to cook dishes that require frying, grilling, or more advanced preparation, there are no pans or proper cooking pots available, so this place may not meet your needs.

The room is clean & the bed is comfortable. Although the business is running downstairs but the sound insulation is adequate. Recommend for budget planning tour

If you’re light sleeper, not recommended cause downstairs is a pub attached together in the lodge, they play loud party music from 1030pm to 1am. Quite bad amenities, no shampoo or even those 3 in 1 body wash in share bathroom, hair dryer also upon request, walk till downstairs and ask from the bar counter. Check in time after 4pm for us without prior notice, we arrive the hotel 11am+, though to keep the luggage but the door is locked and no one even there to prepare for check in. We tried to call multiple time and even dropped messages, no answer nor reply at all, no choice but to find storage luggage service nearby and paid CHF14 just to store our luggage for 4 hours!! This is quite annoying and very terrible experience that I’ve never experienced before. Staff is not so friendly, probably think we are staying in lodge, u pay what u get, anything more to expect, it’s too luxurious. Overall, quite unpleasant experience during our stay.
