Beautiful hotel in quiet area but close to Interlaken West train station, a Coop grocery store and all of the shops and restaurants downtown. You can come into the Interlaken OST station but it’s about a 20 minute walk to hotel, just take a train to Interlaken West, 5 minute walk to hotel. Room and beds very clean, great bathroom, tea and coffee, hairdryer, and spacious closet to unpack for a few days! Awesome breakfast with scrambled eggs every morning, fresh croissants and coffee, tea, cappuccino, etc. Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We would stay again. Beatus caves a short bus ride away which was a highlight for us and many other sites to see nearby, great base to stay! We had Swiss Travel passes so buses are included for free but hotel also gave us a card to cover the bus and I believe it gave other discounts as well.

Great hotel to stay in Interlaken

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and had great variety. The hotel hosts, Herman and Charlotte, were very helpful with recommendations for site seeing and restaurants. The hotel location is convenient to train station and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay in Interlaken.

Pleasant ambience and brilliant hosts. Breakfast very nice. Lounges very nice but maybe a little dark ? Frequent change of bedding appreciated and room cleaning staff.

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely quiet location in what felt like a residential street but still close to the supermarket and train station (no more than a few minutes walk); a little further to the main streets with eateries and shopping but no chore at all to wander. Great breakfast.

Located on a quiet street but only 5min walk from Interlaken West train station ,Migros supermarket and plenty of restaurants and shops. The breakfast was good, the room was spacious, clean with a fan and a kettle. The staff went of his way to assist with every request we had and really made us feel at home away from home.

I stayed at Hotel de la Paix for a few nights and had a really nice time overall. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Interlaken West station, but still in a quiet area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. The hotel has a lovely, traditional charm and the garden area is great for relaxing.

There were a couple of unusual things. There were ants in the room during my stay, which wasn’t ideal. Also, the bathroom window looked directly onto the neighbouring balcony, which felt a bit strange when people were sitting out there.

Don't book if you have more num of guests (incl younger kids/infants) than the room allows

Location was good. Nr. to the West station. Breakfast was not that great. very limited option. More of a cost cutting breakfast.

No flexibility and rude behavior. I booked a triple room for my family of 4. I was not able to find anything in the area with 2 adults + 2 kid (in my budget) so I booked with 2 adults & 1 kid option since the younger one sleeps with us... They were very pretty adamant on the number of guests and didn't allow us to check in and offered a refund. Further they bragged that last week they didn't allow a family with an infant. Few other reviewers have listed the same. Fortunately, I found a nearby hostel for myself and slept over there. Family stayed here. Nothing was available in the area otherwise would have gone somewhere else. My advice to fellow travelers: Please go somewhere else if you have more number of guests (including younger kids/infants) than the room is listed for. Every individual is counted as an adult here. Booking.com: Please add a marking in bold in the hotel listing that the hotel has a strict policy of not allowing anyone including children who are not declared while booking.

Super close to the train station but still in a peaceful neighborhood. The room was cozy and breakfast was generous . My only regret is that I could only book two nights :(

Loved the customer service most

The hotel is located at a short walk from interlaken West station where regional long distance trains stop. It connects to Interlaken Ost where short distance regional trains stop. There were plenty of restaurants close by. You can see mountain out from the window. The service was good and breakfast was included. The room was on 3rd floor and had a small lift. Car parking was free. The room and hotel interior was good. What I liked most was the customer service.

The room was very compact, suitable for only one person. There was no fridge. The internet was a bit flaky.

More on less everything. The beautiful homely feeling, the interesting decoration with old clocks, bells and gaming machines, the close proximity to Interlaken West Station and other amenities like Migros store and restaurants and other eateries and shops.

Great hotel

Great location, spotlessly clean hotel. Very comfortable room which was on the top floor with spectacular views of the Alps. There was a lovely breakfast with high quality food and beverages. The hosts who own and run the hotel were very friendly and helpful and went beyond what we would expect when we had a couple of requests. They were so nice and helped to ensure that we had a great holiday. We highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in quiet residential neighborhood - a short walk to everything! Provided a fabulous breakfast, large rooms with a balcony, excellent showers, comfortable beds and laundry facilities. Took care of our every need. Definitely our favorite place to stay so far!!!

The location is excellence. It is near to the town centre. I can easily purchase my items near town. Eating outside is not a difficult task since it is near to the town centre. The town feel friendly and the town people are appraoachable.

Pros- nice staff, easy check in, great location, every guest gets an interlaken guest card, good breakfast, daily housekeeping Cons- poor sound insulation, could hear other people's snoring, plumbing noises, walking noises etc Very very soft bed, not comfortable and the whole bed moves if your partner tosses in their sleep Very dated carpet, tiny bathroom Overall good value just because of the location and breakfast

Exceptional

The hotel is well located, only 400m from interlaken west train station. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the hotel gives you a travel card during your period of visit that allows you to travel for free in interlaken by bus or train.

It would be better if there was a mini bar in the room.
