Comfort room

Very clean room and hotel building behind main hotel building!Near to main market in Interlaken west and train station

Wired room with too huge pullers on roof just above beds. We booked a double but two single beds were provided. No tea kettle or fridge in room beside costly room charges

Location, breakfast

Our room was in the guesthouse, not the main hotel building. The room was supposed to have at least one chair for the desk but it didn’t have any chairs to sit on. Sitting on the bed was terrible and uncomfortable. The bed was of average quality and we had only two small and terrible pillows, they were the most uncomfortable pillows ever. This room cost more than what we paid in Zermatt for a room with a balcony, a fridge and a perfect view of the Matterhorn. Because of a huge number of tour groups at the hotel, the breakfast room was always crazy busy.

Great location in the middle of the town, room was nice and spacious. Makes for a decent base camp for doing stuff in the area.

There's no air-conditioning, I thought this wouldn't be a big deal since it wasn't that hot when I was there. However the bathroom doesn't have a fan so when you or multiple people shower all the excess heat and steam just goes into your room heating up your room to an uncomfortable level. There is an Indian restaurant next door, as soon as you open the window you get the smell of Indian food straight into your room which isn't pleasant so when you open the window you get that smell and also mosquitos. There was a fan which was really dusty and gross, really should have been cleaned before.

The location was great for exploring nature and with nearby transfers to many towns via bus and trains. This was a great time.

The rooms were very basic and small; but that was okay for us as we were outside most of the day.

Convenient location

The guest house is quite old and could do with a refresh. The hotel staff are nice but they didn’t go out of their way to share information. I had to find out elsewhere regarding electric charging and the free transport in the city! Come on guys .. it’s hospitality.. rather over share then under share!

An overpriced room in a soul-less building. The room stank as the previous client had been heavily smoking in it but they gave it to us anyway.

Enjoyable. Good service from the Reception staff.

We did not avail of the breakfast facilities. Location is pretty good... it is near the bus stop. We were given coffee facilities in our room.

There was one time when our room was not cleaned at all by the staff. Please note that we stayed at Hey Hotel from 7 May to 14 May.

Nice hotel to stay

The area is in the city, very convenience and can find food easily, the staff are also very nice and informative.

The only one I didn't like is the air conditioner not work properly not cold even set temperature was 10 Celcius.

Deceiving

The property was pretty clean & the staff were very friendly.

They add some ridiculous charges to your room. We paid £60 during checkout for charges we were not aware of. Also no mention of parking wouldn’t be free in their questions. They say it can be reserved but miss out the part that it will cost £15 per night.. we paid 67CHF for 2 nights stay. I still don’t understand what the extra charges were for..

Hotel with a great location, but service can be better

The location of this hotel is really good! It's close to the supermarket, the bus stop, good restaurants, and more. They would also give us disposable utensils whenever we asked, so that wss quite nice.

Staff were not the friendliest and would often tell us to do things for ourselves instead of helping us with a task. Though we would be able to convince them in the end to come to the room and help us out. We also felt like staff weren't as aware of things? We asked someone if we could open the window for circulation and he simply answered that he doesn't think so and left. Later on after trying for a bit, we were able to do it ourselves. But aren't staff members supposed to know how to do those things? Or at least try to be more helpful? Also, I don't recommend booking a room with the 2nd floor as ventilation is poor. If you're at the bottom floor, you can crack open the big window to let air flow. But if you're in the 2nd floor or basically attic, even if you open both windows, it will still be too hot. We also felt like it was quite dusty in our room. Pillows and bed weren't the best, but it dod the job. Although if you enjoy comfortable bathrooms, it will be difficult for you to enjoy as this hotel or rather this room's bathroom is quote small and cramped. It would have been cramped for 2 people, and it was more cramped for the 4 of us. This hotel is still worth it for it's price, but just be more aware about its shortcomings as well.

Location is very good - close to train station. We enjoyed the dinner at the hotel restaurant, good quality of food and service.

We had the rooms in other building next to the hotel main building. The room is quite small especially the shower room is way too small for ONE person to take shower.

Great Location close to every thing.

No Ac in the summertime but that’s nearly everywhere in Europe. Rooms did have two fans which circulated the air pretty well and we also stayed in a top floor room with two skylights that could open for more of a breeze.

Actually it was one of the worst places I stayed at

1 the hotel website shows a combination of 4 star and 3 start facility pics. This is deceptive as you choose the hotel looking at the pics of the 4 star facility but when you go there it is just a lodge (which is not more than a 2 star) which a separate building with no ambience, no decor, poor quality furniture and poor wifi. There is no ac in the building…they give you a poor quality low height fan which is of not use. It’s extremely hot and humid.

Very modern and well kept hotel and hotel rooms. The staff was exceptional and they were so accommodating with our two dogs we brought with us. Would love yo be a guest here again in the future.

Our stay was unforgettable and by no means not to be repeted

The rooms The noise around the hotel during the night (the room had no ventilation system, so we had to sleep with window opened). One of the rooms (located in the last floor) was a kind of mansard with a roof window impossible to be shutted and without protection against external light. We paid superior double rooms and what we get not even a standard one.

Brilliant location, nice and close to the train station.

No aircon, one window broken so unable to open. We went through summer so was expecting the heat but unable to air out the room, so was consistently sweltering in the room.

Staff were great, very helpful! Check in was at the hotel, bar and restaurant very nice.

Rooms could have been better, clean but extremely basic, bathrooms need upgrading. No air conditioning. Lift and corridors have seen better days. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, rubbish pillows!
