Great location

The location is perfect. The room is fine, i was warm every night. Breakfast selection was good. Shower always warm. 5th floor had nice view (not balcony side)

Restaurant was booked up often by massive groups in one go which meant had to eat elsewhere or book in advance. The bar also closed for private events some nights.

In the heart of the town, perfect location and 15 min walking distance to the train station. Room were spacious, clean and comfortable. Heated bathroom floors were a plus

Great location in a funky hotel.

Nice room with a balcony and magnificent views of the snowy alps. The staff were friendly, great location.

The bed was very hard with only one very soft pillow and a cushion. It was an uncomfortable sleep for the two nights we stayed.

Love this hotel and the area. I wish we had booked a longer stay to explore Interlaken.

This was a really nice hotel close to the train station, shopping, exploring the area. Great area for restaurants. The room was really big size. Great breakfast in the morning! Very nice bar area.

I didn't like when we first got to town and booked our stay the directions sent us to a Hey hotel in Thun. Beware this caused a lot of grief and I'm not sure why this happened. We ended up taking a bus to the other hotel and then had to make our way back to this area.

Our whole stay was good.

MARCA the lady in the breakfast hall was very nice to us - she asked if we want some eggs and how did we like it cooked since the scrambled eggs was no more in the buffet table Then there’s this man in his 40’s maybe in the morning or night who was very pleasant and accommodating towards us

When we first checked in there were 2 men there and they were not nice and accommodating at all!! Then there were only 1 pillows for 4 people and the pillows are so soft and flat!! Then the toilet seat in the bathroom was not tight that it moves every time you seat on it!!

Perfectly centralized. The train station to Interlaken West, is only a 5-7 min walk and the bus picks up right across the street.

The bedding. They only provide one pillow person and they are not the most comfortable. And the AC unit doesn’t cool down much. Making the room feel stuffy. Opening the window does help but only if there is a breeze otherwise the windows open only add to a hot and stuffy room. Also, the ladies in the breakfast area are not very nice. They tell you where they want you to sit, not welcoming @ the door.

More a hostel than hotel .

The mountains. And leaving.

Where to start? Wrong key card for an occupied room, when we entered the room the guests’ possessions clearly visible. Thankfully no one in or anything else going on as we opened the door. Air con set at 22 degrees, in line with local regulations. Staff delivered a fan as so hot. Guests complaining about the air con. Booked a double room and with a bath as in the description. I can imagine the hotel replying that there is a bath or shower. I booked a room with a bath. Simple. The room was not in line with what I booked. Very different from the booking.com photos. Misleading. No privacy whatsoever. Curtains had to be closed in the room due to being overlooked by an apartment block opposite and people sat on their balconies. Glass isn’t obscured from outside. I checked, you can see in from the street. Room very small, twin beds pushed together, separate single duvets. Room grubby, space in the bathroom is tiny. Mould on shower wall. Heard guests complaining about their rooms. Breakfast; simple. Flooring under some tables unclean and a hazard. Bizarre experience at breakfast witnessing member of staff scolding an 8-year-old child over asking for help to get a hot chocolate from the machine. Staff approaches the family stating ‘this isn’t table service; I am not here to serve you’. The waitress does her best to not let the mother get a word in, impolite, unprofessional, raising her voice for all to hear. Family leave and on the way out speak to the supervisor who is even ruder, repeating that they are not here to serve! Staff are now having a go at the mother, like they in the supermarket. We are so disgusted that we decide we are done and leave. What a place. Switzerland is very expensive but after taking a walk a few hundred metres from the Hey Hotel we then discovered far, far nicer places for much less. Hopefully this covers what we didn’t like at the Hey HoHell.

thin walls so i could hear loud neighbours - luckily i brought earplugs but admittedly am a light sleeper. a thinner bed sheet under the very thick cover would be nice.

Nice Rooms But overpriced when advertising AC

Room was a nice size for family of three, including the bathroom. The lobby, bar and restaurant are beautiful. Laundry services in the one end of the building which is very useful.

They advertise AC but let me be clear, there is NO AC in the rooms. The hallway was slightly cooler but the rooms were much hotter. Yes, we asked for fans. Yes, we opened windows... But it didn't cook until spring 3am and by 6am you could hear the kitchen banging dishes.

Location and Air conditioning

I was shocked to find that the actual room was completely opposite of what was depicted on your website. The room was poorly furnished and much smaller than expected. This discrepancy between the online images and the reality of the room was quite disheartening. The breakfast is also not recommended.

The location was perfect and breakfast was good

We booked 3 rooms of the same category but upon reaching found out that all 3 rooms were of different category and 1 of them was extremely small. There was no room service and had to go to the reception to even get a spoon.

Friendly Modern Hotel

Convenient location in a modern hotel. The breakfast was great. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful.

Although the room advertised air conditioning, they don't turn it on until around May 20th. This doesn't help when it is 25 or 26 C temperature outside in mid May and you come back to the room and it is very hot. We had our windows wide open all night long but the room didn't cool off until close to midnight, so this made it difficult to get a full night of sleep for our early mornings. The hotel is also very busy but does a good job with appropriate amount of staff.

Disappointing

The heat didn’t work so they brought in a portable heater to run all night that also didn’t work well so it was freezing all night. The room had bugs in it and when we arrived we had to ask for new sheets to be put on because there was hair all over the sheets as if they weren’t changed prior to our arrival. Other than location and the staff being friendly, there aren’t many pros.

Location was very central and breakfast spread was very good.

Room wasn’t as clean as I had hoped and one of the ‘fresh’ towels had hair on it. The room also had a really strong freshener (?) smell when I first walked in that wasn’t very pleasant. I had to open the windows to air out the room. Other than the basic amenities in the bathroom (eg shower gel), no vanity kits (eg shower cap, etc) were provided and there was no place to put your shampoo/conditioner (if you brought your own) in the shower area which made it a little inconvenient. The hallway leading up to the room could do with a refresh as the carpets and walls were quite dirty - didn’t match the modern/newish appearance of the reception area.

Central location, short stroll to Interlaken West Station and right opposite the hotel, is the bus stop to Interlaken Ost Station (5 minute ride). Family was spacious and very comfortable.
