Cosy central location.

Very central and cosy if a little unexceptional. It obviously has a great history but run as a 3* rather than what it deserves to be. Rooms comfortable and the mini Toblerone on the pillow was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, on-site parking limited to 3 or 4 spaces in a tiny yard, 15chf extra. The bar looked nice but we didn’t go in.

Nothing not to like, on the expensive side for what it offered but worth it for the location.

Hotel Krebs is a wonderful hotel and I would stay there again when given another chance.

We were very happy with our stay in Interlaken. It was a great location, food was delicious, everything was the best. I would highly recommend this hotel , or if I were going back to Interlaken I would gladly stay at Hotel Krebs.

It was not nice experience in 4star hotel

It was quite cold, the heating was making strange noise all night long, the hotel staff was not helpful, the hotel management was cutting costs on food for breakfast,

Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The location was excellent—just a one-minute walk from Interlaken West train station. Most staff members were very friendly and always keen to help. I like their room amenities too. The body wash, hand wash, and lotion.

The smell of cheese fondue from the restaurant next to reception has risen to the first floor, and opening the door will quickly bring it into the room.

Amazing hotel with even better location and scenery.

The location is amazing with my room having a room with a view of the lake and the mountains. Amazing. 5min walk from the station so easy walking distance. Clean and staff very friendly.

Found some of the amenities broken. Toilet seat broken and keep moving and some of the towel rails and toilet holder coming off the tiles. This is cosmetic and can easily be fixed.

Quiet, comfortable, convenient and efficient for what we needed.

We stayed in a superior room, size and comfort were very good. Double glazing was of good quality, made the room very quiet! Very convenient parking for a hotel in downtown.

The location was central and the room was large , clean and modern

The breakfast was disappointing as there were no rolls only cut white bread and sweet pastries. The scrambled egg looked unappetizing. Good selection if you are Korean , a wide variety .

Old School Swiss Hotel

It was clearly a historic and famed Interlaken hotel, but like many such hotels it's time is perhaps slipping away as it does need some general updating, there is nothing wrong with it, but old fashioned which for me is fine but I am sure others would seek more modern facilities.

The food both at breakfast and dinner was fine, but both lacked finesse and quality.

This is a comfortable hotel in a great location walking distance from Interlaken west train station. Accommodation is in good sized rooms that are both very clean and comfortable.

The bathrooms do require updating as it is challenging to get in / out of the showers via the bath tub but we coped but older people may struggle or risk a fall. Breakfast was included in the stay which on 2 out of 3 occasions was good but on the Sunday an hour before breakfast service was due to finish everything was gone ! No hot food left, no bread or bakery items, we were told that more was coming buy after 20 minutes of waiting we had to go catch our train.

Decent hotel in very good location and on site car park - we were a group with 5 cars

Location is the only good thing about the hotel, 5 minutes walk from Interlaken West train station

It is a very very old facility that it feels like it has frozen in 70’s or something. Furnitures were extremely old and gloomy with poor quality of bedding and pillows. It is also so noisy that you feel like you are trying to sleep in the middle of the street. The breakfast was very poor and served in a hall full of flies. There is a serious hygiene problem that I even saw a long strand of hair in the bread bowl.

Accommodation: The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed with contemporary furnishings. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including air conditioning, a minibar, and a kettle with tea and coffee supplies. The bed was comfortable, ensuring restful nights after days filled with adventure. Dining: Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight, featuring a diverse buffet with fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes. The on-site restaurant served delicious Swiss cuisine, and the lounge bar provided a cozy atmosphere to unwind in the evenings. Service: The staff at Hotel Krebs were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Really disappointing experience

Central location. Close to train station.

As it was a special occasion we paid extra for a Suite Room (ie one of the most expensive rooms they had with the exception of their honeymoon suite) you come to this area for the views of the Swiss Mountains. Considering the hotel had lovely views of the Swiss mountains from the front of the hotel, we expected to have a somewhat of a nice view. Instead we looked out over metal generators on the roof, with metal stairs to the carpark. I will upload pictures of our terrible view. The generators made noise all night so we couldn’t have windows open. Room was like a sauna, no matter how much we tried to adjust thermometer it didn’t change. We were willing to let all that go, but for breakfast we arrived well before closing time. There wasn’t much left in the buffet (scrambled egg had a scraping of eggs around the edges) Waiter told us we could order omelettes to order, we said yes we will do that. After a little while we tried to get his attention again, placed our order for two ham/cheese omelettes…..we waited a decent amount of time, nobody around, when he finally came back (after close to 30 mins waiting) we asked how much longer it might be. He came back after another 5 mins to say that the chef had forgotten our order and it was now too late to put in orders so we couldnt have anything. We ended up going to McDonalds across the road for breakfast. We noted everything with the lady at reception, and got a customary “sorry for that” Would definitely recommend staying in a different hotel in the area.

the friendliness of the staff at the hotel was the good part of the stay .Specially the reception staff .

the room has some kind of smell and after we complained , was offered to change the room we stayed in same was given air freshner , the room floor and hotel entrance had food smell coming up. Breakfast was not upto the mark, they didnt have bread toaster , a small sandwich griller was used as toaster , spread didnt have much options .
