Excellent place to stay in Interlaken

Very conveniently located about 400-500 metres from Interlaken West Station. Staff speaks fluent English and is hospitable, rooms were clean and spacious for a couple with 2 large pieces of luggage and there is a laundromat right opposite the hotel. They infant have an excellent Italian restaurant serving vegetarian Pizza, Pasta and Risotto which is a huge bonus!

Bfast as expected not for Indians, although the hotel in the season has Indian guests coming in but at this time, Feb 2026, food at hotel is a problem 🤷‍♂️

Doesn’t deserve to be called a hotel.

The hotel has a good location between the Interlaken Ost and West stations

The hotel is crummy. The rooms are small, the furnishings are old and rickety. There is a single common use kettle in the lobby area. The bathrooms are pokey to the point that showering is miserable. The supplied shower gel and shampoos are expired for more than 2 years. The breakfast is poor with the options being miserly.

Wrong location and cold water

Location and cleanliness.

Wrong address given. Then they argue about it until i physically showed them what address they give. The hotel they wrongfully put up as the address knows this and gave us the correct directions. It's far away from interlaken ost. Water was cold. We came back after skiing and was told that we can shower in the mornin g if we want hot water.

The location was quite central to interlaken ost station. Supermarkets and all other activities were easily located closeby. Check in service was smooth

Please try to get in before late hours as you might need to wait outside and call the receptionist if you arrive late as the hotel doors will automatically close.

A pleasant stay

The location. Just a 5 min walk to Interlaken West station. The hotel has a lounge next to the reception where you can have hot beverages (no kettle in room) and microwave your food. Bottled water is provided in the room.

The blanket of the double bed is too small for 2 adults to share. We found ourselves fighting for it to keep warm during our sleep.

Hotel has good location

Breakfast is good and Staff there is excellent. We find that our room can get food smell every morning due to may be poor ventilation . Room is not that clean , bathtub has some mold. Anyway the staff at front deck and breakfast room are nice .

Great hotel for our family vacation.

Location is ideal. 5 min walk to Interlaken west train station and 15 min walk to Ost. Rooms were nice and clean. It was cool the week we stayed there so we kept the windows open and the fan on and it was comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. It starts at 7am so if you are looking for an early start just keep that in mind. There is also a lounge that you can use during the day and at night. There are tables and chairs, game table and water cooler. There is also an area to warm up food and they stock paper plates and plastic cutlery. The grocery store is right down the street which is very convenient.

The hotel as an elevator but to access some of the floors you need to go down or up a few stairs. You need to be sure to ask the location of your room if you cannot do stairs. There is also some construction happening so one of our rooms had a view of scaffolding. We didn’t spend much time in the room other to sleep so it didn’t bother us. The bathrooms can also be tricky. One of our rooms had a very deep bathtub and the shower is a half partition of glass so you need to be careful with the water. Again not an issue for us but may be a concern for those who can’t step up and over a high bathtub wall.

Our room was perfect, conveniently located near both train stations, a beautiful park to watch the paragliders and enjoy the beautiful views, while steps away from amazing restaurants and & shops.

Great Location and comfortable

Great location! The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious for our family (I was traveling with my mom, husband, and baby). My mom had her own space and we had ours, which was perfect. They provided a crib for the baby, and everything worked out great. Breakfast was delicious, and I loved that they even had a spot with a microwave so I could warm things up when needed.

My window faced a construction site. They should install blackout or darker curtains, as the light filtered through day and night. The shower pressure could be better when using hot water. The hotel does not provide A/C, but the weather was cool, so that was fine. The breakfast restaurant only has one high chair for babies. It would be great if they had more, as one morning we had to wait for it.

The armoire in the room was busted and hangers wouldn’t fit in it properly. There is no air conditioning - it was very hot in August. A fan was provided, but it didn’t do much. Opening the windows helped.

We had a fantastic time during our stay, everything was perfect.

We (my mother and I) had a great time at Hotel Weisses Kreuz. The shared kitchen room is just convenient. clean and wide enough. You can use a microwave, an electric kettle, water, paper plates, plastic cutlery, and a big trash can. In the cozy room, you can relax and play games as well. There is a refrigerator in each room, and free water bottles are included. The room and bathroom are very clean and neat. We loved the pillow cover embroidered with the hotel's logo (We would like to explore the possibility of selling this as a souvenir). Breakfast was great!! The staff is very kind. A bus stop is just a minute away. You'll enjoy the sound of horse-drawn carriages passing along the street.

Basic and comfortable

It was centrally located so easy to get to most things like shops and restaurants. The beds were reasonably comfortable and we enjoyed the Toblerone on our pillows when we checked in. The managers were very helpful when we had an issue.

We were originally put in a room with an interior window that faced an active construction site. The loud banging was unbearable. We spoke to the woman at the front desk who said they were full and we could not be moved but that it should stop by 5:30 pm. We asked to speak to a manager, showed them both the video of how loud the noises were and they moved us immediately. Both managers (Oliver and ?) were very friendly and actually grateful that we informed them of the situation. Interlaken is very expensive and this hotel had a high price tag for a very basic room with three twin beds. Compared to our stays in Zermatt and Lucerne where a comparable price paid for more luxury accommodations.

Good location,staffs and room

Room is clean and space is enough for 28 inchs bags to open together with an elevator to access. Staffs are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is good, with a room and equipments for guest to prepare their meal for lunch and dinner. Location is great, about 500 m from Interlaken West train station and 200 m from the public park.

Great place close to everything in Interlaken and tasty breakfast

The room was clean and bathroom spotless. Beds were comfy and they have fans to help bring in cool air. Breakfast was perfect, and they even had eggs! Staff was very helpful. Great value and place to stay but note rooms are small…at least the one for me but it was good enough.

The breakfast.

The images of the rooms are misleading. The room was in a very old battered condition. The bathroom sink was clogged. The mattress was hardly there. The pillows were verry uncomfortable. The floor was dusty. We chose the family room and there was a step in the room. My father tripped over it every time he crossed that area.

Amazing view and centrally located right along the main shopping area and train station.

The view was amazing and the location was literally across from the train station and bus stop was very close . It’s located off the main road a little bit so Very convenient to travel. We were in room 405 that has a big balcony with an amazing Mountain View!

Toiletries were not provided so being your own. There was no microwave or hot kettle.

Decent hotel centrally located

Breakfast was very good. Good central location. Initial room we were assigned was roomy and had a nice balcony. Bed was comfortable

Sound really carries in building. We had guests above us that were stomping around starting at 5:00am every morning which made it impossible to sleep. Instead of addressing it with the noisy guests we ended up getting moved to another room that was more quiet. Unfortunately that room was significantly smaller and had no balcony. Staff should have addressed the problem with the other guest so we didn’t have to be moved to a lesser room.

Convenient location and comfortable stay in an old style hotel.

Prior to our arrival, the staff decorated our bed with red floral paper in a heart shape for our wedding anniversary stay. Convenient location to the shops, bus stop and train station. Room size is good and the bed is comfortable.

No kettle in the room. You need to go to the common room to get hot water. There was a fan but no air conditioning in the room. The rooms are on split levels, so you may need to negotiate some short steps even after taking the lift.

A clean practical hotel in the heart of Interlaken

the hotel is located in the city centre and very convenient for activities, shopping and restaurants. It is a short walk from the train station to the hotel on the flat. There is a lift to the reception and check in was quick and easy. our room was a good size and very clean. it had a small fridge with free bottled water each day. bathroom was equipped with good selection of toiletries. breakfast was included, it was basic but sufficient to start the day.

Hotel facilities are sparse but we know that when we booked, but we were not intending to spend time in the hotel it was simply a base. Note - our room was equipped with a fan but was not air conditioner.
