The location is amazing but service could be better. We stayed for 3 nights and not once room service came in to clean the room or check on washroom supplies. I had to go to the reception and inquire about it and they said their room service included only taking out the garbage. I had to request for toilet paper…. For the amount charged per night, they can definitely do better on the service part.

Location was great… could walk out and watch the parasailing. Front desk was not very helpful on local sights to see. Language barrier also. We ended up going to Information at the train station to make plans. No breakfast available. The hotel sits behind/attached(?) an Indian and Chinese restaurant so with the window open, many aromas entered the room, which wasn’t a bad thing. A fan was provided which we needed. Our room window opened unto the restaurant ally so many employee noises. I probably would not stay here again.

The staff was not very friendly or helpful. Their property is in desperate need of updates and upgrades throughout the building including plumbing, windows and coverings and security. The location is awkward and our room faced the road where restaurants and bars were open late and it was hard to sleep well. None of this was indicated on their site.

I’d say extremely overpriced for what you get even for Switzerland where nothing is cheap. Very basic room with not a lot of amenities but it did had an elevator, closer to the train station and a lot of eating options around.

I don't look for anything fancy in a hotel, just a clean and comfortable place to sleep. This was neither of those. The beds appeared clean, but were not comfortable; seemed to be a single thick slab of foam, and the pillows provided no support and pillow cases were rough and scratchy textured fabric. Luckily our bathroom was newly remodeled, but there were clusters of mold on the ceiling. When entering the room the first time, it was so stuffy and smelled like a combination of fried food and cleaning products trying to cover up the smells. The only way to ventilate was to open the balcony door and turn on some fans; it's not possible to safely leave a window open while away as someone can enter through the balcony, so we had to seal the room shut again when leaving for the day (resulting in a smelly and stuffy room when we returned). These conditions would have warranted a 2-star rating, but I give it 1-star due the hotel itself being falsely advertised in the photos. There are no flowers decorating the balcony as shown in the main photo, and it does not have a European charm feeling with an Italian trattoria downstairs--there is an Indian and Chinese restaurant instead, which I'm sure are delicious, but the noise and smells wafted up through the open balcony door and into our room. The hotel lobby and hallways are grimy and outdated, they key system for the room is clunky, and the staff attitude is mediocre. I do not recommend staying here if all this would bother you.

A few complaints. First I booked a stay on the wrong date and they refused to accommodate my mistake. Said they were full and couldn’t - which was a lie. I rebooked on the correct date and lost my money. Fine. Their photographer is amazing - I will leave it at that. The lower level of the hotel is a restaurant and there are strong curry and cooking odors everywhere. I will say it appeared clean but not worth the price by any standard. It said A/C but not sure it turned on. We had no interest in staying so called an audible and went to Zermat to a favorite place. Worth the lost fees

Very dirty.

This hotel has a great location, but is dirty. The sheets were stained, shower curtain moldy.

Do not stay here, very old, very dated, staff is frankly non-existent, with the exception of the cleaning person we saw once or twice. NO A/C which honestly is most of Switzerland. But even so one window no screen, so you cant leave it open because of the flies. Stay somewhere else, anywhere else, nothing could be any worse.

Stayed in the hotel for 5 days. Yeah, it's pretty pricey. Not just the hotel, but the whole town is expensive. The hotel's in a great spot. Getting around is easy. It's like, less than a 10-minute walk from Interlaken West station, and both Coops are close too, like a 5-10 minute walk. Make sure you check the bus and train times earlier. Most of the available for every 30mins or 1 hours. Check the weather one or 2 day before and alternate the plan accordingly.

I had an awful stay at this hotel. The building is extremely old and clearly not maintained. The bedding was absolutely unacceptable – with holes and stains that made me question the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the place. The heat in the room was unbearable, and there was no air conditioning. Opening the window only made things worse because of the loud noise from the street, making it impossible to sleep. The pillows were terrible, extremely uncomfortable, one too hard other too soft. And to make matters worse, this place was way too expensive for what it offers. For the price, I expected at least basic comfort, but this was a complete disappointment. Definitely not worth it. I would never stay here again and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Right in the center, very convenient to nearby stores.

The India restaurant next door is authentic Good location.

It'S really not a nice place to stay. Pricing is out of this world and the room was dirty, as the bathroom was. But the AC unit was functioning properly

Old and dirty property so be prepared.

It was roomy, all details including bed lamps and and shower necessities were handled well. It was quiet and clean. The building was a bit old, doors a bit dilapidated, and a bit expensive.

Check in was fine, attendant was nice. Room was ok, but so hot, also mold spots in shower could use updating. Overall fine place to crash for the night.

Deceiving online pictures. Bathroom very dirty and dated. Mold on shower tile. Broken tiles molded together. Shower very small. No place to hang wet towels. Linens and towels are thin and well used. Hotel smells like the Chinese & Indian food from the restaurants on the ground floor. Not worth the price we paid.

Hotel is between an Indian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. Very odd location but rooms were very spacious

Highly disappointed. The room was yucky. Bed awful. Bathroom gross

People were very nice. My room did not have a remote control or an operational sage. That was really no big deal though to me.

Its okay hotel to stay.
