Perfect

The place was always clean, many places to sit and enjoy. Big kitchen, clean toilets, decent lockers Parking available electric car charger available

There are only 2 suggestions apart from that I think it was the nicest hostel I’ve been in The floor of old building rooms make a lot of noise when you walk The wash liquid in kitchen is like water, I’m not sure if it’s even cleaning, will help and be easier for guests if better dish wash liquid is provided

Great hostel in an incredible location

Great location which is pretty central in Interlaken. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hostel itself was comfortable and showers were amazing. Breakfast was basic but free so cannot complain! Great places within the communal areas for sitting and relaxing or chatting to other travellers.

My only concern was that, in a 6-person shared room with a bathroom, the walls were thin, which made it a bit uncomfortable due to bathroom noise. nothing to extrem

Everything about this hostel was great, can’t wait to stay here again!

Loved this place so much that the next time I stay here I want to make a point of staying here. Great location, right in between both train stations, close to food and restaurants was quite clean, kitchen area was very well equipped and great common area. Breakfast in the morning was good as well and staff were very helpful.

Rooms were a little tight with 4 people trying to get ready and get out at the same time

Amazing location! Walking distance to station, hotels and everything

Excellent accomodation! Very good location and walking distance to both Interlaken West Train Station and Interlaken Ost Train Station. There is also a bus stop right outside the hostel. There was free breakfast every morning which was very convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and professional-- when we had to check out in the morning to catch a train, they gave us a Coffee Machine token and a Croissant so that we can quickly eat on the way to station ❤️

The rooms were clean but a little bit small and difficult to adjust with 5 people (not enough space) and it was a bit expensive, but everything in Switzerland is expensive

Oh so so so good! The staff were wonderful, the breakfast is complimentary, the beds are very comfortable, and the cleanliness is top notch.

Excellent hotel

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Just like before, it has a cost-effective price, a comfortable living environment, two sockets in European and Swiss standard at the bedside. The terrace in the public area can directly see the sunset of the Jungfrau. The hotel staffs are enthusiastic and can also meet some special requirements of guests.

The floor sometimes makes noises and guests need to be moved gently.

Dream Land

I had a great stay at Backpackers Villa in Interlaken and would definitely recommend it to other travelers. The hostel is super clean, well-organized, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect — just a short walk from Interlaken Ost station and close to supermarkets, restaurants, and beautiful walking paths. What I really liked: Free public transport pass: This was incredibly helpful for getting around Interlaken and to nearby towns. Well-equipped kitchen: Clean, spacious, and perfect if you're cooking your own meals — a huge bonus in pricey Switzerland. Friendly staff: Always available, super helpful, and gave great recommendations for hikes and day trips. Comfortable rooms: My dorm bed was clean and cozy, with a locker and charging station right by the bed. Great common areas: Both indoor and outdoor spaces to relax, meet people, or enjoy the view of the mountains. Laundry, breakfast & more: Laundry facilities were easy to use, and the breakfast was simple but satisfying.

Limited atmosphere in the evenings – while it's peaceful and relaxed, it’s not a party hostel. That’s a plus for many people, but if you’re looking for nightlife or a super social vibe every night, this place is more chill. No elevator, so if you're on a higher floor with heavy luggage, it might be a bit of a workout (though the staff is very willing to help if needed).

A great value for the price

I arrived 3 hours before check-in to leave my luggage, but I was told that I could already check in because the room was ready, which made me very happy, a big plus. The rooms, bed linens, bathroom, and toilets are very clean. Each bed has a light and a socket. The hostel is modern and very comfortable, with all the amenities you need. Also, the view from the window was great !

Easy to go everywhere, the bus stop is very close to hostel. If you’re not hurry, I’d recommend you to take a walk from the hostel to train stations (west, ost) because the town is so nice. People in town and staffs are nice and always smile. The hostel is very deeply clean, the breakfast is pretty good and easy also there is the coffee machines, there is the laundry machine to use and the price is CHF 10.- by coin or token (Ask at reception and you can pay by card with them) but free for dryer machine. If you have to do an early checkout, let them know the day before and they will give you a token for the coffee machine with paper cup and a bread). Highly recommended for everyone (family, group, solo traveler)

Incredible place, best hostel I have ever been. Location and facilities just amazing.

Probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Seriously. Location is incredible. Next to the main park, and next to a bus stop. When I arrived, in the check-in, the hostel provided me with a card to travel for free in public transport during my whole stay. The breakfast was simple but enough. Facilities were excellent. The kitchen HUGE. There are lots of lockers for luggage, everything was awesome.

Lovely Green Comfy Stay

Overall, it was a nice stay. The location is strategic, and the view from the dorm balcony is breathtaking. The facilities and cleaners were excellent. The staff was also kind and answered our inquiries. They also offer a visitor's card for free transport in Interlaken.

There were not many things, but I think it was a bit overpriced for a bed in a dorm, especially when we noticed they dropped the price during our stay. The breakfast was so basic—no fruits or salty things—but it was just okay.

Really amazing villa

The stay was really comfortable, and the location was really accessible. About 15mins from the train station and a bus stop right in front. The staff were super friendly, the rooms and especially the toilets were clean, and the included breakfast was quite decent. Not to mention they include a local transit pass in the price which is a great thing. They got free lockers, a full range kitchen with multiple stoves and ovens, a whole bunch of games for all ages... It really was a perfect hostel

The bed linen didn't exactly scream comfortable, but it wasn't necessarily bad. Just made of a rougher fabric than one might expect, but it wasn't itchy or dirty, so I might just be nitpicking

The location, the place itself, the staff and the facilities. I had a good view of the jungfrau mountain.

They could do a side cover of the bed so when someone comes late and turns on the lights it couldn't be much of a bother. I happen to have a dormate who came around 12mid and do all the noises going out in the room and rummaging her stuff although it's not the hostel's fault..
