Lovely hotel and some staff members are rude

The hotel itself was nice and comfortable, and overall the stay was pleasant. However, at checkout the receptionist was rude and unprofessional, which unfortunately left a bad final impression and did not end our stay on a positive note and while we were a sleep house keeping entered our room

The receptionist at check out was just rushing us out and a housekeeper entered our room while we where asleep

Good Experience

The facilities were somewhat dated, but they were very clean and had everything you needed. Above all, the owner was extremely friendly and gave thorough explanations, which was very much appreciated.

Hotel is old and outdated, breakfast was not good, I don’t think it wa a good deal.

Hotel is located near Interlaken West train station.

The elevator was extremely small, can only really fit two people with a carry on luggage. Breakfast was not good at all, room had bad view, the bathroom has a tall bathtub and you have to be very carefully coming out since you can easily slip.

Cozy hotel with good access to attractions in and around Interlaken

Comfortable beds. Excellent location near the train station. Breakfast was very nice. Our room was bright and well lit, it faced a quiet street and had a little balcony. The staff at the desk were lovely.

The hall light was broken so we had to use our phones to light up the staircase. We reported it to the front desk, who were very receptive and said they would repair it asap.

Would recommend this property and have stayed here twice over past two years.

Location is great 5min walk from Interlaken West railway station allowing for restful mornings prior to catching trains to various destination in the region. Their breakfast was of a high standard and offered full English. The rooms were spacious with our balcony overlooking the Swiss mountains. Close to restaurant's and major shopping centre. Very quiet area and beds very comfortable.

Not a great deal to complain about regarding this property as we were very happy with all during our 3 night stay - good value for money

We highly recommend this hotel

Our rooms were clean, well appointed. Breakfast was very good and the staff remembered our drinks requirements the next day. We liked that they had a surprise option every day. The staff were very welcoming and helpful especially the reception.

Our rooms where to the street side. That made it quiet noisy with the traffic going by until ten o clock. lt helped when we put down the shutters.

Staff is very kind, the room is big and confortable, shower is very good, 3 minutes walking to the Interlaken west subway station. The breakfast was very good and in the last day we asked earlier breakfast and they gave us a box with sandwiches, fruits and coffee.

The room was nice and clean. Bed and pillow were comfortable. Reception lady was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and had quite a few options to choose from. The staffs who was looking after breakfast room was very attentive and lovely. Location of the property was only less then 5 mins walk to Interlaken West train station which was super convenience. And also less than 5 mins walk to Migros Supermarket.

Amazing stay!

The location is great! A couple of blocks from the train station that takes you anywhere. There are also several restaurants to eat along the way from the train to the hotel. The area is great, the room was big and comfortable. It had a nice breakfast too.

Our favorite hotel stay during our Switzerland holiday!

Amazing staff! We were wonderfully delighted by how warm and welcoming the staff were, from the receptionists to the breakfast attendants. We were spoiled by a hearty breakfast every morning that we looked forward to each night! We stayed in different hotels throughout our trip and Hotel Crystal was our absolute favorite.

The pillows were a tad too flat for my liking, but that’s just personal preference!

Perfect!

Great location, great value for money (other hotels are very expensive). The staff were very friendly & the rooms are clean. The room was the best part as we had a big family size room with a terrace with a mountain back drop. I highly recommend thus hotel. It looks dated from the outside but actually it was fine on the inside. I wouldn’t waste your money on booking a flashy hotel as this is got everything you need.

Great place to stay in Interlaken!

Hotel is in excellent location, only 4 minutes away from train station. The staff is excellent, really friendly and helpful. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable. Overall it's a good solid choice to stay for couple of nights.

Noise isolation is lacking, you can hear all the neighbors and street noise.

This has been our second time for us to stay at Crystal hotel. Service, staff and facilities are excellent as the first time. Location is our preference be quiet and safe.

Good value, comfortable accommodation that's brilliantly located for Interlaken West station

We were Interrrailing around Switzerland with our daughter, so chose Hotel Crystal because we wanted a hotel that was easily walkable from the rail station. Its location is perfect as it is literally 3 minutes walk from the Interlaken West station on a flat, paved road (avoiding steep and/or unpaved walks always being an important consideration when you're carrying luggage in Switzerland). It’s a well priced, clean and comfortable hotel which offers triple rooms with single beds as well as the more usual double rooms. The breakfast is a generous buffet with cheeses, cold meats, fruit, boiled eggs and birchner muesli, as well as some hot options (scrambled eggs, baked beans) and a daily 'surprise' (pancakes one day, sausages the next during our stay). It's a two minutes walk from a shopping centre with a Migros supermarket anchor store where you can stock up on provisions for picnics and is easily walkable to restaurants in the centre of Interlaken. Alternatively you can catch buses and trains (including to Interlaken East station, from where trains to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen depart) free of charge using the Interlaken Card that you're issued with by the hotel for the duration of your stay. The hotel also has some guest parking.

The only very small quibble that we had was the small number of plugs in the room, given that we were trying to charge multiple devices (my advice would be to bring an adapter that allows charging of more than one device at a time). There was no air conditioning in the room, although this wasn't an issue for us as we were travelling in April.
