A must stay in place in Interlaken West

The apartment is about a 3-5 minute walk from the Interlaken Wesr Train Station, about 2-3 minutes from Migros (Grocery Store) and 3-5 minute walk to Lidl (another grocery). The view from our room is amazing. We stayed there on last week of October and I think the weather was just perfect to adore the nature from our room. We had a balcony that has a great view of the mountain and the nature and even the paragliders. Although it was an old building, it stayed neat and comfortable. We had a microwave, a fridge and a coffee machine inside, basically what we need so we don’t have to eat outside all the time. It has a guest laundry area (for additional charge) that we were able to use at a very affordable price. The highlight of our stay, I would say, was our host, Ms. Veronica. She is just the loveliest person we have met in Switzerland, and she went above and beyond for us. She gave us suggestions on what to visit and how to get there and gave us tips on not spending so much during our trip but still able to enjoy it. She will always greet you with a smile and her spirit is just uplifting. One of the days of our stay, I mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday and asked her if I can borrow something to light the birthday candle for my hubby. Later that day, we went out and when we came back, she had a happy birthday balloon outside our door. She’s so amazing. We enjoyed our stay in this place. ❤️

It’s not that we did not like it, but since this place is like a traditional inn/apartment type, this doesn’t have an elevator. It has stairs up until the second floor. Which we really don’t mind since me and my husband packed light during our trip.

Quaint old inn

Location was great and it’s quite charming a facility. The access to laundry 🧺 self service was great!! parking was easy. Just in front of the property.

No elevator and had to lug luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The main hallway was kept dark and it was a bit spooky at night. Old building that creaked a lot. 👻

Lovely owner, lovely setting short walk to/from the train station, whisper quiet, comfortable beds. Veronica was warm and helpful. She met us at the train station on arrival and dropped us off on departure.

Very special stay!

The property truly is a home away from home. Super comfortable, nicely away from the noise of the busy areas, but so handy to the train and the main village. The hosts are incredibly special - very kind and so helpful. The views from our room were 💯! You won’t regret staying here. It was the highlight of our trip. We will be back!

Lovely and ideal

Very clean and modern apartment. My favourite part was the lovely balcony with large windows looking out on to the mountains. It’s also within walking distant of Interlaken west train station and central Interlaken station.

The toilet flush splatters water out of the toilet bowl, even with the lid shut. It was not nice having our legs and the floor sprayed with toilet water that we had to keep cleaning, but this was the only annoyance we experienced

Home feel away from home. Quiet neighbourhood next to a school. 5-6 minutes to train station, super mkt. Friendly host. Room is well equipped to cook simple meal.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was very well stocked with kitchen equipment (apart from no oven). It was close and easy to walk to the town and Interlaken west station.

The only improvement could have been the addition of an oven

You will feel welcomed

They were welcoming with a smile Patrick and veronica (i know i miss spell the names) The greatest receptionists ever. You will feel like you are home , the second they knew it is a honeymoon trip they surprise us with a decoration and flowers in the room I believe it will be my chosen hotel for anniversary ❤️

The owner was delightful upon check-in and was knowledgeable about the area with suggestions and tips. Our room appeared to be recently updated and had nice amenities like a coffee maker, electric kettle, a microwave and small fridge.

Swiss inn and Apartments was absolutely lovely. The nicest owners. So helpful and friendly. Very central, quiet, a nice area and a 5 minute walk to the station. A lovely room, comfortable bed, very clean. In fact really really nice. It was tiny of course but had a fridge and an espresso machine which is so nice. I would 100% recommend it.

Really cute place. Walking distance from the action. Care taker was really nice and she dropped us at interlaken east after checkout. Walking distance from Interlaken West. Great view from the window. Air conditioning.

Room was of good size but the barroom sink was so small in the big room that it was hard to use. Shower could also be better as well. Sink was of full size in the room with two twins. No on site breakfast option.

The best place to stay in Interlaken

We loved this property!!! My bf and I came here and the receptionist was SO sweet and friendly she gave us ton of recommendations and also continued talking to us throughout our stay. She made it feel like home. Our room was left with birthday surprise because it was my gfs birthday. It was so clean and super close to everything! We would definitely come back and recommend!

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and well-maintained facilities

The location of this hotel is perfect - 5 minites walk from Interlaken West Train Station but not so close the main street, which gave us much more convenient as well as cosy and quietness. The hotel building itself was beautiful and unique with green windows, lovely balconies and flowers everywhere around it. At the reception we were greeted by very friendly staff who gave us a lot of useful information about our stay in Interlaken. By the way the welcome chocolate at the reception was really nice. The rooms were not that big but with very good and well-maintained facilities. We booked two rooms in this hotel and one of them were with balcony and beautiful view of the mountain. There was no breakfast offered by this hotel but as it was quite close to the supermarkets, we can easily buy some food.

Perfect place for family

Everything. The bungalow is spacious for the whole family. There's kitchen and dining area, 2 toilet , very clean.. there's a backyard too. Quiet and safe place.. ac is on the living room but there's a lot of fan and it's enough to cool both rooms. The 15chf laundry per day is very good deal. My children love playing pingpong. The location is excellent 7 mins walk from West station, and everything else. The guests card gives u free transport within Interlaken. There's nearby grocery also

The sensor light in the other toilet.. I forgot to ask how to set it to normal mode.

The host at check in was soooooo nice and helpful. I give her a 10+ just on her own. The available laundry room was worth the price for our short stay, but for longer stays a laundromat may be more cost effective. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and although we did not use the air conditioning, I can understand it being beneficial for warmer days. The location was perfect, close to the Interlaken West train station and away from all the tourist activity elsewhere in the city. Everyone at the Swiss Inn & Apartments made it a lovely stay for us.
