Location and view

The bathroom is small with a poor drainage system, and there’s no elevator or proper facilities. ⭐️⭐️ Breakfast is the same every day, and the lady cooking (Suzana) has poor communication skills and never smiles — her attitude toward guests is disappointing. However, the rest of the staff are wonderful and very helpful.

Very narrow space in shower place, can't turn around. The whole building was centrally heated but the temp was higher than normal that affected good sleep in the night.

Hotel was in a great location very walkable to the whole city and off the main tourist streets. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Room was very clean and we had a balcony which I was glad we upgraded to upon booking. Breakfast being served in the morning was a great added bonus.

A picturesque facade, an ok stay for one night.

The outside of the house was very picturesque. The Portuguese staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was good.

Expensive for a 2/3 star hotel. It does not have an elevator, we were on a 2nd floor. The rooms are extremely small and very very basic. At breakfast, which runs only until 9.30, there were some English speaking ladies not friendly at all, and basically “kick us out” one minute after 9.30.

No elevator. No A/C although they did provide a fan for each room but there weren't many outlets to plug everything in. Bathroom was also very tiny (and we were 3 in a room)!

Nice, cozy place to stay in.

Everything was just perfect. The staff, especially Kim & Susan, were great & extremely helpful. The rooms & bathrooms are clean & comfortable. Free parking slots are free but limited to 5 cars I think. Would like to book again if I am in Interlaken again.

No AC, but we didn't need it anyway; the weather was good in July. No fridge is another BIG dislike.

Budget stay in a great location

Location was perfect, 5 mins walk to Interlaken west and 15 mins walk to Interlaken ost. The views from the balcony were insane and the size of the room and bathroom sufficient for a solo traveller. The breakfast was ample in variety.

They need to give a better fan, especially in the summers. If it doesn’t rain it gets pretty hot

Loved the experience - hope to return!!

Location was perfect for us. We walked everywhere. Our view from the balcony was beautiful! The bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was homemade and a goid variety of choices from eggs, cheeses, breads, fruit, etc. Overall-it was such a pleasant experience! Totally recommend.

Authentic old Swiss hotel with a gorgeous view of the mountains.

Location was a very short walk from the train station. The staff was very friendly and were able to help us with all of our questions. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of selections.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location

Starting from the host, to all the stuff, everyone was incredibly friendly and warm. The rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast fresh, location great.

A great place to stay and enjoy. For holiday travel it is perfect and centrally located.

We had breakfast included in the price. The breakfast was adequate and met our expectations. The room was comfortable and we only used the room for the evening and we spend most of the day outside. The location is perfect as it is only walking distance from the station. Staff were extremely helpful in providing us with the information and helpful suggestions. We enjoyed our stay. Staff extremely polite and helpful.

Loved the friendly and hospitable nature of Ines! A valuable employee. She didn't just "do a job" she was forward thinking with a friendly, adaptable nature (essential quality in the hospitality industry and especially when accommodating many cultures) I our 3 month travels of Europe this was definitely the cleanestmotel by far.

A place I would most definitely return to!

It was quintessential Swiss and in a great location not far from the center of town. Having onsite washer and dryer was a great benefit. The breakfast was delicious!

In a place like Interlaken,with such a vast hotel infrastructure, every detail counts...

The room was cold. Outside temp.10 Celsius and the heating elements in our room cold during our stay. No elevator. Upon arrival I asked if I could have a cup of coffee, and the British lady at the reception explained to me that there were nice coffee shops nearby, giving me the impression that she was barely tolerating my presence.

Pleasant Stay in Interlarken

First of all,the location of the hotel was quite nice..it is just a few steps from Interlarken West station.. I was so pleased by the hospitality shown by one of the staff Elisa(Don't remember her name properly, but her home country was Portugal :) ) And fire place in the hall was the highlight of the place,giving it a complete vintage and heritage look.

The hotel did not have stairs..I came with an infant and a lift in the hotel would have made it much easier for me to take my stroller in the room.
