Amazing throwaway in the middle of the Alps

Perfect location, perfect facilities even though the room was small — we were provided with extra room for the luggage. Special space for common kitchen and living room.

The breakfast was not really various for europe. Some cereals, omelette, bread and cheese with no ham or any other meat.

The scrambled eggs were amazing!! Breakfast was plentiful. Staff were super friendly and perfect translation into English.

Although the rooms were quite small, they were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and make great coffee. We liked that it was not in the busy part of Interlaken but still only a short walk away and had beautiful views.

Amazing Staff and Location

The staff and location were both amazing. Great water views. Great location to walk to everything around the town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating..they even made us to go breakfast bags as our train was leaving before they opened. The d will definitely be back here in the future.

Superb view and fantastic owners and staff

We particularly liked the guest lounge with a microwave and kettle where we could relax with a takeaway in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, continental plus scrambled egg for long stay guests. The walk to the station (Interlaken Ost) is along the river and very enjoyable.

I honestly can't think of a singe thing that could have been better.

The café offers delicious food and coffee, and the rooms are cozy, clean, and very comfortable. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the scenery, and feel truly taken care of. Highly recommended!

Cafe is great, but hotel needs some love.

Wonderful location. Just a short walk from Interlaken West train station and within walking distance to downtown, Harder Kulm, restaurants, shops, etc. Beautifully located on river with lovely views. Delicious cafe serving breakfast each morning.

Room was ok. Very small bathroom without much counter space or room to maneuver. Could use new paint or a makeover in room to highlight some of the quaint building’s charm. Just a little plain and drab. Tim was friendly and helpful upon checking, but other staff were not too friendly. Seemed expensive for what we got.

The perfect place to base your stay!

Such a great location. Close enough to walk to plenty of attractions. The river right out the front door was amazing, perfect for a little cold dip before bed. The amenities were everything we needed. The included breakfast was perfect, get the scrambled eggs! The staff were so welcoming and kind, felt right at home!

Nice breakfast and comfortable stay. Value of money.

We booked superior room with pretty view, and the room is comfortable to stay. Appreciate the excellent coffee and scrambled egg provided at breakfast, and nice staff. It’s more close to Interlaken west station, Unterseen but it’s ok to us as it’s more value for price. Can use microwave and fridge at their public lounge area.

No lift but stairs, need some effort for big luggage. But still acceptable. At most 2/F.

A peaceful and pleasant stay

The “family” room we booked was very large and spacious with enough beds to accommodate a family of four. The complimentary breakfast and coffee was a nice touch before we headed out for sightseeing. Charming spot along the canal, the staff was friendly and spoke English every well.

It’s a bit far of a walk from Interlaken Ost, the main train station and the rooms have no AC.

Couldn't be happier with this cute boutique hotel run by an amazing family.

The Aarburg is exactly what we hoped it would be, a small boutique hotel with charm, views, great location and easy access to the train station. The owners were amazing, the cafe was amazing, the river was beautiful and provided excellent walks at night and runs in the morning. The rooms are small and charming. The bathroom was updated and nice. If you are looking for some Switzerland charm in a nice location at a fair price, this is your spot.

A perfect choice of hotel stay in Interlaken.

The location of the Aarburg Hotel is ideal for exploring Interlaken. It is close to the west train station and many restaurants. It is also very scenic as there is a river and bridge directly in front of it, and gorgeous views of the mountains. The breakfast was included and was delicious, and the cafe is very attractive. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also a guest lounge with a sink, refrigerator and tables that can be used at any time by the guests.

An elevator would have been nice, but the staff was very helpful in assisting us with the luggage.

Breakfast and service were great . Location awesome Staff very helpful Although check in closes at 7 - staff was very considerate with instructions and follow through for the late check in for us. They gave accurate instructions and it was seamless.

Wouldn’t change a thing, it was a fantastic experience!

The location was amazing, the rooms were clean and very comfortable! The food was wonderful, the cafe was fantastic! And they had a terrific Expresso Martini! You can tell the food is good because locals would come as well. And we had a beautiful view from our room! It was in a more quiet area which was very nice but within walking distance to both train stations (Interlaken West-8 mins and Interlaken East - 20 minute beautiful walk by the waterway). Th staff were fun, kind and made our time there even better!

Very Nice Stay

Location is close to the train station and an easy walk. The view from our room overlooking the river and mountains was gorgeous. The walk next to the river to Interlaken Ost station takes about 20 minutes and very scenic. The included breakfast was very good. Coffee was amazing as were the scrambled eggs! Lots of other breakfast items to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There isn’t an elevator, but they were willing to help with bringing up luggage.

Clean and comfortable Hotel

Located in a beautiful and quiet area. Less than 10 minutes from Interlaken West and grocery stores. There is a guest lounge with microwave, coffee and tea machines. The hotel restaurant serves delicious sandwiches (ordered for a fee).

The shower area is very small. Shower head is difficult to adjust because of space constraints. Not much choices during breakfast but still substantial.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff & great location. Small breakfast in the morning (cereal,yoghurts, toast, coffee, eggs).

Only downside is the floors/walls are very thin. We struggled every evening due to selfish people in the room above stomping loudly.
