The location is excellent—close to everything, yet peaceful enough to fully enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. The service was exceptional, with staff who were not only professional but also genuinely warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety and fresh options to start the day. This hotel combines charm, comfort, and hospitality in the best way possible. I will definitely return on my next visit to Interlaken and highly recommend it to anyone look was truly unforgettable. This place was an 8 minute walk from Interlaken West train station, and there is a grocery store nearby and restaurants within walking distance. The staff is very friendly, and the hotel does provide limited free access to the bus to get around the area. I also liked there was access to a washer and dryer which you only had to get 12 CHF in coins to do a load. The only thing I didn’t care for was no elevator and no AC. They provide a small fan in the room but it wasn’t the strongest. I also happened to be there when it got hot and staying in the room was barely tolerable even with the fan on and the balcony door open. The balcony did provide a great view of the mountains. If you’re looking for something affordable and within walking distance of the train station, and you can tolerate the no elevator/no AC, then yes, consider this place. Otherwise, you may need to pay a little more for such comforts.

The room was very nice and had a patio for us to enjoy the view. The staff was excellent to assist us on our requests from an extra pillow to breakfast allergies. The location was perfect and only a couple minutes walk from Interlaken West and most of the main drag for shopping and restaurants. My wife and I highly recommend the Hotel Post Hardermannli for your time in Interlaken.

Making a short stop over after travelling back over the alps from Tuscany. What a fantastic place to stop! If you get a chance stop for more time as this place is lovely. We have a great view of the Jungfrau from our balcony and the town has many restaurants. The hotel is very friendly and a perfect place to stay.

We had a terrific room, up front with a patio and great view. Dining options were close as well as a grocery store. We enjoyed the room so much, we both some wine, cheese and meat to eat in.

The views from our room were out of this world. The hotel is very close to useful bus stops as well as one of the main train stations. The buffet style breakfast was good with eggs made to order. The only downside was our shower head kept sliding down. When mentioned to the staff, they said they wouldn't be able to get a plumber out on the weekend. Small/less than stellar showers are quite normal in Europe, so it wasn't a deal-breaker by any means. Would recommend to anyone that can handle stairs.

Cute cozy hotel in Interlarken. Be warned that they do not have an elevator so maybe not the best place to stay if you have a lot of luggage. Service was fantastic, and the included breakfast was lovely. Walking distance to everything. Also, they had a coin washing machine and dryer which was incredibly handy. They even provide detergent.

Hotel is in good location. 2 things: 1. No elevators ( good rooms are at the higher floor). As I recall, total number of floors were 3. 2. At the breakfast, each person has limitations to eat 2 eggs ( I felt it was bit strange considering the breakfast mostly is Bread, cheese and eggs ) Room size was good and hot water kettle was provided ( uncommon)

It was okay - clean on the surface, not so if you looked a little further. The staff were pleasant enough. Everything is basic, the restaurant is awful, but not part of the hotel. 3/5 for a hiker, an absolute no go if with family.

We chose this hotel because it is near the train station of Interlaken-West. It is even closer to some bus lines, one of which goes to the Interlaken-Ost station. We also chose it because it looks Swiss, with wood, balconies with flower boxes, pitched roof, etc. Our room had wooden walls and ceiling. The restaurant on the ground floor specializes in pizza. There is no elevator but the owner carried our bags to the first bedroom floor. Breakfast is fully satisfactory and one can order eggs to go with cheeses, deli meats, fruit, juices, breads and rolls and croissants, etc. A lounge area with some books in English, a TV and other amenities is adjacent to the breakfast room. A really nice restaurant, called Baren, is diagonally opposite the end of the block. Across the street from the hotel is a low-rise mall with a bank, a Coop grocery, and other conveniences. This is a good choice of hotel, quieter than those near the train station.

We had a great time at the hotel. Kim was so helpful and had a great sense of humor. We had many questions and she even helped us find rainy day activities. Highlight was Junfrau. We also took boat rides on both lakes and a train to Bern. There is only parking for 8 cars. We were lucky! Beautiful old hotel. We upgraded to a balcony. Worth every penny. We sat there every morning and night. Great location and has a wonderful restaurant on site. Loved it.
