They have a "vacuum cleaner"

Everything was clean and everything worked. Staff was friendly and helpful. For Switzerland and especially Interlaken, the price for a room is definitely low (actually, I don't understand why tourists come to Interlaken - there are many nicer places in CH). I was on a price-sensitive trip and thus, booked it.

The facility and the room are really, really old and super low standard. Again, you don't miss anything - but, aesthetically is below "basic". I gave it a high ranking, because value for money & location is good. Funny thing - in the room they display a certificate (looks pretty fake), that they have & utilize a "vacuum cleaner" - freaking amazing!!! :-)))

Old style charm

The room had a balcony with nice views of the mountains. It is a short walk from Interlaken West station and you pass a large Coop (supermarket) on the way. Breakfast room was very tastefully decorated. A nice lounge area with a communal fridge and coffee making facilities. I found the manager who was always around at breakfast to be very helpful and nice. I thought the elevator was fun and unique but not everyone would agree as it barely fit one person and was liable to stop at any time. I liked that there was a fan in the bathroom.

The shower was prone to flooding and there were signs warning of a huge fine which was intimidating but we managed to not flood by being very very careful.

Warm welcome at Rössli

Really welcoming staff, great location, room was small but comfortable. The lounge area where you could access tea and coffee was very welcome. Ideal hub for getting trains to the Jungfrau region.

Lovely stay .

They were very helpful and we had a wonderful breakfast . You also have use of a microwave , coffee machine and dinning space , all set up for your use . Very handy to have all your meals and a laundry that you do bave to pay for but when travelling very handy . Very family friendly staff .

Great value. Very good breakfast. Super friendly staff made us feel like family. Great location on edge of shopping and restaurant district. Close to train station. Interlaken is a wonderful city to visit.

Family Operated Hotel who value their guests

[ ] Older accommodation in Interseen, just outside Interlaken. Very easy to commute via short bus ride. [ ] Free luggage storage until check in [ ] Staff extremely helpful and accommodating. [ ] Rooms are a good size, bedside tables, wardrobe, desk, lamp and charging ports for electronic (mobile phones etc). [ ] Separate bathroom, including toilet & hair-dryer. Glasses for water etc. [ ] Small TV in bedroom. [ ] Communal lounge for guests with coffee & tea available all times of day, free of charge. [ ] Communal fridge for guests use to store food items bought from local Co-op [ ] Soft drink available for purchase via honor system, write down what you take and it's added to your bill to be settled at end of stay. [ ] Great breakfast, eggs, scrambled & boiled, bread, toast, croissants, bread rolls, cured meats and cheeses, cereals, fruits & jams, tea, coffee and juices (& possibly more).

I can't think of much i didn't like. It's a family run business that treats guests well. If you are looking for a place with modern decor and high-end facilities, then this isn't the place for you.

Comfortable, relaxing, homey stay.

We traveled in Europe for a month and this was probably my favorite accommodation. Our room was clean, quiet, nicely sized, and had everything we needed. Two things that really stood out were the approachable and knowledgeable staff, and the shared spaces available for use. They have a large, multi tabled dining area that has a TV, microwave, dishes, drinkware, cutlery, coffee, tea, and a large refrigerator for personal food items, it’s open 24 hours. There is another lounge on the 2nd floor with a TV, toys and games. They also have a lovely breakfast buffet with everything you would want to start your day. I felt very at-home, like I was staying at a family lodge. I will definitely return when we are in the are again.

Simple, clean and comfortable

Really enjoyed my stay here. I had a single room. Bed, pillow and linen were comfortable and the room and bathroom was nice and clean. Although you can hear your neighbours more than a traditional hotel I found everyone was pretty mindful and courteous. - handy location. Short walk from Interlaken West Station. - Breakfast was good. Great you can have tea and coffee anytime complementary. - Communal areas you can relax. - Washing room to wash and dry clothes was very handy. They were happy for me to hang clothes in the laundry room to dry vs using the dryer. There is a clothes line. - There is a lift if you have heavy luggage. - Staff were all helpful and welcoming.

Swiss Chakel charm, every detail well thought out.

Hotel Rössli was as clean as a whistle and It had that Swiss chalet charm. It was 10 min walk from Interlaken West train station, close to a coop, friendly staff, free coffee anytime of the day and washing facilities. We’ve been travelling through Europe and it’s by far the best accommodation experience we’ve had.

Exceptional stay — great location, amazing host, stunning views

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in June 2026 at Hotel Rosili. The rooms were clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the balcony offered gorgeous views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen and cozy common rooms, which gave it a friendly, relaxed vibe — like a hybrid between a hotel and a hostel in the best way possible. The owner made our stay truly special. He’s incredibly warm, thoughtful, and took personal care of each guest. He shared great local advice every day, especially for our biking plans. Location is excellent — just a short walk from Interlaken West station, and there's plenty of parking available. Check-in and check-out were effortless. A perfect choice for couples, families, or solo travelers looking for value, comfort, and heartwarming hospitality in Interlaken.

The best place to stay in Interlaken!

Roessli is one of the few family owned hotels in Interlaken. It is in a wonderfully quiet location in Interlaken, barely 8 minutes walk from Interlaken West station. The hotel has a kitchen which guests can use 24hours a day with tea and coffee facilities as well. Helpful, friendly staff!

Good Option for Interlaken Stay.

The owner Jean-Louis was great - very friendly and welcoming. Location was very good and walking distance to everything. Supermarket is a 3 minute walk. Staff were super friendly and you can tell it's a family business. Guest's lounge room and dining areas also a great inclusion. Breakfast was fine.

Comfortable, quiet, well located and great breakfast

The breakfast had a big range and lots of different fresh fruit everyday. The staff are very friendly, helpful and generous with their knowledge of the area. The kitchen area is fantastic and they clean up your dishes. You can use their washing machine for only 5 francs. The balcony with view of Jungfraujoch is beautiful. Station and shops all nearby. It was very hot but the small fan is adequate at night. Great lift for your luggage. It’s very quiet even though everything is close by. Lovely large lounge area to relax in and a children’s play room too. It’s a great hotel!

I would rather a ceiling fan if no air conditioning is available. One night was very hot and I couldn’t sleep. A top sheet when it’s hot would be helpful.

Friendly staff and owner. The shared kitchen with free coffee and tea and fridge was great.

No blackouts so no sleeping after 5:30 for us. Price for night was a bit high in my opinion but maybe aligned with offer/demand
