Nothing maybe the location but even this is not that good

It was the worst place I've ever stayed. The price should have been $40. There are no pillows, the shower is broken, the owner doesn't respond, and the worst part is that someone walks upstairs all night and you can hear everything

the location is very good. The property is right next to a bus stop with frequent services, and a Coop supermarket is only a short walk away, which is very convenient.

The room was very old, and the toilet seat was extremely worn and cracked, which made it feel very unsettling. The entire room has wooden flooring, and even light movement inside the room caused noticeable creaking noises. Sounds from guests walking upstairs or passing outside the room were clearly audible. I stayed for three nights, and every morning before 6:00 a.m., I was woken up by loud footsteps from people walking around upstairs. This made the stay very unsatisfactory. Prior to arrival, I left a message on Booking.com requesting to arrive 1–2 hours earlier, but the host did not respond at all. It was only after I selected the early check-in option that the host finally replied. Even when messaging via WhatsApp through Booking.com, there was no response.

Not bad for 1 person for short stay. Stairs are steep, turning, narrow. No guaranteed parking

The building was old with poorly planned attempted updates. Bathroom was extremely small with no light near the shower. I hit my head on the tv several times. I had trouble plugging in the pot for heating water but that turned out ok because I later realized the inside was dirty and slimy. There was some kind of rodent or bug attractant or possible air freshener hidden under a bench. The shower was handheld and appeared to have been broken off the wall.

Worst place ever! Do not book here!!!!

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Ever!!!

There was no heat, it was filthy, the electricity in the room did not work. I contacted the number and email of the hotel. No one ever got back to us. The first night we slept there fully clothed with beanie caps on to stay warm. Either the shower nor the sink would drain. The holder for the shower head was broken. The fan in the bathroom was so gummed up with dirt I almost threw up! It really was quite unbelievable! We left and found another hotel for the rest of our stay.

The place it is located just next to the bus stop

The wash basin/sink in the bathroom was clogged. Even the bathing area was clogged. I repeatedly messaged the owner and there was no response or to get it cleaned.

Not a bad place to stay if there was no mice

Easy self checkin, room big, nice for simple travelers.

There was a mice in my room, they were digging my snacks during my sleep and woke me up twice ……. Floor makes sounds when walking and bar downstairs was loud on Friday till 1 am.

Location was the best part of this place

The apartment was excessively smelling to cigarrete smoke, there was no water pressure so we could hardly fill a cup with water, there were bugs in one of the room, floor and stairs noisy, the owner or contact did not respond to our complaints to fix them and we requested to be moved out from there to a different place by speaking with the maid people.

Location was right next to a few bus stops. COOP was close by. In general we had a good room and bed was comfortable.

Communication leading up to it was poor. Wish I would have known it came with an Interlaken bus pass. Wasted a Swiss travel pass day. I asked before getting there, too. I'm not a fan of the pillows.

Better to Avoid

The room was cozy. Bus stop was right opposite to the hotel

The staff never responded—literally never. They were never at the hotel, did not reply to WhatsApp messages, and didn’t even pick up calls. Pathetic service. Our Wi-Fi didn’t work for 2 out of the 5 nights we stayed. Water would clog in the basin and shower area. The room was also not cleaned daily. Extremely disappointing experience.

Not worth the price

Close to Interlaken west train station

Tv, shower and hair dryer all broken on arrival to room. No reception or staff as the key was left in a lock box, contacted the host numerous times via text and calling and was ignored each time. Water from the tap in the sink only lasted around 20 seconds then went off.

View was good, but not clean, broken shower, terrible bed living conditions.

The location was great, the view from the room was great.

The stay was very disappointing. The shower was broken and the water spout could not sit on the wall. After a 5 minute shower, the water would over flow because the drain didn’t work. There was hair left in the drain upon arrival which was unsanitary. The bed did not have a proper sheet and only had an old raggedy comforter with a broken pillow. The listing did not mention that there was no AC which made the space uncomfortable. The shower curtain was in poor condition and added to the overall lack of cleanliness. I would not recommend staying here until they get those things squared away.

We were looking for the cheapest place avail for private rooms and we were satisfied with this place

Location very good. About a 10-15 minute walk from downtown and train stations. Restaurants, bars, cafe and ice cream parlor all very close to the same street corner. Check-in process very simple despite there being no reception/staff.

It was overall satisfactory.

The room was fully equipped. Fresh towels and setup for tea and coffee were available. Check-in was easy, and we had a place to park our car. Overall, it was decent

The room's infrastructure is pretty outdated. I understand Swiss is expensive, but for the price we pay, I expect functional lights and much better hardware in the bathroom. Also, the mattresses on the bed were moving, causing gaps.

Good location!

Lovely location, good self services facilities with kitchen and nice balcony to eat from with lovely views. Bus accessible at the front of the hotel. Only 15 min walk to the main station / shops etc. We did a paraglide from the mountain which was only a 5 min walk away from this hotel. We were able to check in late (1am) with keys left in a lock box for us. Wifi available.

The double bed was two singles pushed together, very hard with very uncomfortable pillows. It’s a self service hotel, which is great, although it was difficult to get in contact with anyone when we needed to request a later check out of 30 minutes. The house-keeper was banging on our door and other room doors at 10:15-10:20am, demanding check out (check out was 10:30am).

Location & Size.

We were moved to a neighbouring home due to an issue with the above apartment.The power points for there own appliances don’t fit into the power sockets. Pillows are non existent. floor in bathroom feels like it’s about to fall in. Lots of the doors won’t close properly and power sockets are exposed and dangerous

Shameful facilities at hotel prices

Room dirty, very small bathroom , shower water pressure very low and intermittent. Had to manually hold shower head, as holder not working, shower hose held onto soap basket with someone else's hair band. Large dubious stain on wall next to toilet Tired old bedding, 1 fan for 2 bedrooms, which we had to use as woke up itching during the night. As a motorcycling couple who have toured and stayed in many accommodations, HOTEL TELL will never be frequented by us again..shame on you.

Good price, convenient location

Although the price seemed quite expensive compared to UK, it was very reasonable for Interlaken and the main reason for booking. There is a bus stop right outside which goes to Interlaken West railway station which is very handy especially as the hotel should give you a free bus ticket for the area (we had to ask for it). We liked the communal kitchen which had seating and a balcony area, which was great for breakfast. There was also Coop and Lidl close by to buy provisions. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk into town/Interlaken West/Interlaken Ost stations. Lovely Spanish lady who works there was very helpful. There are a few bars and restaurants very close by.

The movement sensor on the bathroom light was hugely annoying. The light went off after a few minutes and once in the shower it was impossible to get the light back on without getting out of the shower. There is no window so in pitch dark, so also a safety issue. We had problems accessing the building on arrival. An email told us there should be an envelope with our name on with the code for the key safe. Whilst we could see the key safes we could not access the building to find the envelope. No reply to the text messages I sent. Eventually and fortunately some other residents came along and let us in. Still no envelope but the lovely Spanish lady sorted us out with our key. Our attic room was dated and not great but to be fair looked like the photo so not complaining about that, and probably would have been more expensive if refurbished. The handle on the inside of the bathroom door needs fixing as keeps falling off.

Don’t think there is any we like about the hotel with the price we pay for it as it don’t fix to call it a hotel at all with no basis necessity help.

The staff cannot speak basis English and insisted she can only understand Spanish, making communication difficult for travelers who cannot speak Spanish. This hotel does not provide any daily room cleaning service at all, and we was very surprised as the “please clean the room” label tab were present inside the room. The toilet exhaust fan was so noisy and very disturbing when using the bathroom. The hotel noticed board stated clearly “Buses and Guess Card” which will be provided to guess for duration of stay was not given until we need to ask for it.

The property has easy mode for commute and the rooms are clean and good stay for small spam of time

The area becomes quite at night and there is no one around the property make sure u reach on time if ur only group of girls who are travelling. There is no issue at day light u can travel freely

Convenient, homely

The host was easy to contact, was located near the ski rental shop, and ski shop for equipment. Store for food is located down the road. As well, as the laundromat. Very good location with magnificent views. Loved the coffee machine, and added kitchen. It was a good surprise!

The bed was very comfortable and it was handy to keep some items in the fridge

The floors were so noisy and creaked all the time. We were woken up so many times by hearing other guests walking. The floor was horribly dirty (left dirt marks on my socks when I walked without shoes). The shower was broken and the fan in the toilet was extremely loud. The common kitchen are was dirty when we arrived-dirty dishes on counter top.

The property was clean and at a very good location .

There was no staff available to help. I left my very nice jacket in one of the closets and in spite of constantly trying to reach someone I was not successful in getting my jacket back. I sent messages and called but no one was there to help. This really was very concerning because if you can’t reach a real person to help if needed then it makes this property less desirable . I wish that the property management would look into hiring some help that would actually respond to the visitors concerns but there was absolutely no one to talk to.
