Apart from the above the stay was excellent.

On arrival at Reception, was upgraded to a suite overlooking green space at the front of the hotel where, from the balcony, a continual procession of paragliders could be seen descending from the surrounding mountains. The location of the hotel is excellent. Every member of staff was professional, courteous, attentive and polite. The Spa facilities were first class. Breakfast was very good as was the relaxing vibe in the dining room. An early departure didn't allow time for breakfast but the hotel provided sandwiches, fruit, snacks and water to take away.

Decided to have an evening meal at the Italian "restaurant" located within the hotel which turned out to be a Pizzeria that you would find in any town or city. Totally not in keeping with the character of the rest of the hotel and totally out of place in a hotel of this quality. Very disappointing.

A wonderful stay with majestic mountain views, an excellent spa, and exceptionally friendly staff.

A very nice breakfast buffet, and the view from the brasserie is simply majestic, i.e. a stunning mountain panorama with numerous paragliders landing right in front of the hotel. The spa area is excellent: spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The staff truly makes the difference, attentive, very friendly, and always supportive with any request.

The information on Booking.com was not the same as the reality. The room was different from what was described, it was a bit far, and the garden mentioned turned out to be an internal garden, not Interlaken’s public garden as expected.

Wonderful experience in a very nicely located hotel with excellent facilities.

Super friendly and hospitable staff. We had our room booked and paid ahead of time, but when the staff noticed that we were less than satisfied they upgraded us with no extra cost. Concierge team are professionals and they go out of their way to provide whatever assistance required. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

The cigar lounge allows cigarette smokers. For a cigar smoker, the smell of cigarettes can be repelling.

Very bad, not worth the money. Not recommended.

The location of the hotel is very good.

The staff were very rude. The room was extremely bad. We had to change the room as the air vents for the AC were directly on top on the bed, which is very bad. They ask for money for almost everything you ask or, whether water or simply any thing during the breakfast (which is included in the price). Overall the hotel is not worth the value we paid for at all, and it was the worst hotel during our trip to Switzerland.

Not the luxury I expected

The location and the breakfast.

I begin this review buy saying that besides the location, nothing felt luxury at this hotel and I will explain why. I arrived with the car in front of the hotel and the consierge guy told me to park the car underground. It was very unprofessional from him. He should have taken my car immediately and park it and take my luggages in the room. In the end he did that because I asked him to do this. Throughout the hotel the atmosphere was so loud made by other clients that it was very unpleasant (at the spa the children were playing to loud, at the restaurant the clients talked to loud, on the hall/corridor also the same problem). The spa didn't had the towels where you could see them, the massage made by a therapist was very bad, the music sistem hade quality problems, the atmosphere was not as if you are in a luxury spa. At the end of the treatment I didn't give any tipp and the therapist said something (bad I suppose) in his language after he looked at the paper. The stuff from the reception many times were talking to each other about personal stuffs and didn't gave me the right attention. The prices for 1 night are to high for what they offer. I will never stay again at this hotel. When I pay this amount of money I want every to be perfect and unfortunately it wasn't.

We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning again.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was suitable and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and the view from the breakfast room is incredible watching the paragliders land across the street. The location is terrific within walking distance to Harder Kulm funicular. Well worth the visit. The hotel is also within walking distance from the train stations. Right in the town with shops and restaurants. Beautiful, horses and carriages go up and down the street and stop right across the road. We were there in Mid April and the weather was mild but sunny days.
