The owner was very friendly and helpful. He directed us to many attractive and we enjoyed well . Very good breakfast .Above all it was very clean and comfortable .The location was closer to the promenade and very quite also .

An anniversary get away From the moment we rang the door bell we knew we would love it at Trafalgar House, Neil welcomed us in and gave us some great information about the area. Our room was just perfect, I couldn't fault anything at all. Everything was just so tastefully decorated Breakfast was just so lovely and a fantastic choice on the menu to choose from. Very well presented, Neil also knew I liked a small portion of Breakfast, which wasn't an issue we had communication before our arrival. There is also a choice of fruit and Cereal to choose from This isn't like your "average" B&B it's more up market Parking wasn't an issue as there are spaces allocated for trafalgar House, Neil was a wonderful host, Nath and I had the best couple of nights stay and we had a fantastic relax after s very busy summer Thank you Neil at Trafalgar House We will be back 😁

Breakfast was consistently very good.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a lovely large room by Neil our host. Breakfast was excellent quality & jams & marmalades are made on premises. We were given good information about places of interest. Nothing was too much effort.

The room was lovely,very clean room , breakfast was amazing, very hot ! & Only 10 mins to sea front .plus it was our Anniversary and a card and chocolates were waiting for us on arrival which was very nice 😊.

Unfortunately, we were locked out of the hotel due to lock on the door !!!!!!!

The location

Communication about arrival: Although we had already logged our arrival time through Booking.com, the host still texted us to ask when we would arrive. This felt unnecessary and created the impression that if we were late, no one might be available to welcome us. Breakfast rules: From the first meeting, the host told us breakfast would only be served between 08:30–09:30 and that he would assign us a table we had to use for the entire stay. This was inflexible and inconsiderate, especially for guests arriving after a long drive who may want more freedom on a short holiday. Having only four tables should not mean guests cannot choose their seats. A holiday should be relaxing, not dictated by rigid rules. Housekeeping and towels: For a property advertised as four stars, we expected daily room service and fresh towels. Instead, the towel left in our room had a yellowish stain and was unusable. When we requested a replacement, the host said we would need to pay £6 because the towel had been left on the floor and was considered “dirty.” This was unacceptable and not in line with normal hotel or B&B standards. Host behaviour and privacy:we had difficulty with the curtain pull cord , we tied it to the button wall hook to keep window open and have some ear due to high tempered . As soon as we arrived back to the room the host entered our room uninvited and without waiting for permission, speaking to us in a disrespectful manner as though we were children showing how to lock the pull cord ! This felt like an invasion of privacy. Later, while we were out for the evening, the host again entered our room to leave a towel, instead of leaving it at the door or waiting for our return. This was inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable.
