Great value for money with lovely hosts

Great location for us, parking right outside and bonus of an EV charger. Our hosts were lovely, a warm welcome with coffee and cake, our family room was spacious and well equipped for us, we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and a lovely special of eggs benedict which was perfect. Great value for money and we would definitely stay again.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very welcoming,friendly and very helpful.

The Glandower was in a perfect location, walking distance to the princess Theatre and Harbour. We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Torquay. The staff were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast has to be one of the best we’ve ever had.

Great stay at Glendower, would recommend

I expected to like staying here as I had great memories from staying at the Glendower 35 years ago. Very interesting to return and see changes. Really good stay overall. All very enjoyable and I have no problem making a strong recommendation to stay here. My hosts were great. Nice room, good breakfasts. Glendower is very close to the railway station which is helpful. However that means you might be tempted to catch the train to Paignton and eat there (restaurants a lot cheaper). Recommend the Thai restaurant near Paignton station.

Best breakfast of our holiday.

Friendly and helpful hosts, lovely room, comfy bed, very quiet, short walk from train station and from the seafront and town. Delicious, freshly-cooked breakfast with plenty of choice and local products. We loved this stay.

A very enjoyable stay in a very beautiful B & B.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, the room I stayed in was clean and had everything that I needed. The location was very close to the train station and the breakfast was exceptional, there was a great choice to choose from.

The breakfast was cold fresh to order and there was also a good selection of cereal, fruit and juices along with tea and coffee options. Room was clean bed was comfy. Would highly recommended. It’s about a 8 minute walk to the beach.

Above normal sized bedroom and bathroom for a single room. Lots of thought given to providing all necessary room and bathroom facilities and accessories. Excellent breakfast in a very nice breakfast dining room. Kind and thoughtful couple running the hotel.

A delightful place where nothing seems to much trouble

Spotlessly clean. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They even put my husband’s bottle of wine in the fridge for him to keep it cool. Breakfast was delicious, first time I’ve heard my husband say the sausages were great.

Excellent Breakfast great value stay.

Location was great just a 15 minute walk into town,was able to check in early which was great,free parking which is always welcome, it was very hot and was offered cold bottled water and there was a tower fan in the bedroom which was a great touch The breakfast was excellent and it was very good value for money.Janette and Ian were friendly and professional.

Fantastic overnight stay

Lovely, friendly and thoughtful hosts. Bedroom were lovely and clean and the room we had was beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfy with fresh sheets and lovely fluffy towels and little extras in the room to make your stay that little bit better. We would highly recommend a stay here you will not be disappointed.

Lovely place that more than lived up to it's reviews

Beautiful room. Comfy huge bed, beautifully decorated, well stocked with quality teabags, toilet roll etc, not cheap brands. Breakfast was proper fresh fruit salad, not filled with apple to boost it. Nothing is too much for Janette and Ian. My stay was due to family illness and they couldn't have been more caring and warmhearted if I were a member of their family. From observing other guests interactions I would say this is normal. A lovely place to stay. 100% recommended.
