Lovely period property

Wonderful little place which is within walking distance of everything. Staff are absolutely amazing and can not help you enough.
Also we could not park on the drive way as it’s very steep HOWEVER - there is Plenty of parking on the road outside - plenty!! We didn’t use our car once while we were there as everything is within walking distance.
Would definitely recommend and would say you take a larger room as the one with the bunk was too small for our family of 4.
Our room has an incredibly small bathroom - but it was the only one available - so can not complain.

Myself and my partner recently stayed at the Westbank
Having stayed in the more mainstream hotels in Torquay before we decided on a change and after looking for a half an hour or so and reading countless reviews we decided on The Westbank after booking we received a couple messages from our hosts which was nice n made us feel welcome even before arriving upon arrival we were greeted by Berta who was very welcoming and friendly she showed us around and left us to go to our room which was very clean very tidy and equipped very well, we made out our requirements for breakfast and was overwhelmed by the service n quality the following morning throughout our stay 3nights our hosts could not of been more helpful and polite nothing was to much trouble a lesson that could be learned from the for-mentioned mainstreamers if your going to stay in Torquay I can not recommend this lovely place and its hosts more highly an 12 out of 10 fantastic value and service thank you Berta and Ed we will definitely be back
