Relaxing winter break

Breakfast was great, freshly cooked to order with lots of other things also on hand including fresh fruit and cereals. Room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and warm.

My experience at The Crimdon Dene

I found the landlord very helpful as l am a disabled person. He transferred me to a more accessible room when he realised l was having difficulty with the stairs, for which l am eternally grateful.

Wonderful host, delicious food, comfy stay!

Absolutely lovely hotel, with owner Kol the most welcoming and helpful host. The room was very clean and comfortable, with good facilities. The breakfast was absolutely excellent, with a delicious cooked breakfast, cereal, yoghurt, tea, coffee, toast and juice - plus an excellent range of fresh fruit. The hotel is only a short walk from the railway station, in a quiet street. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone.

I couldn't really fault the place - it lives up to it's excellent reputation, and like I say, a very warm and friendly welcome awaits, with any needs and requests catered for as much as possible.

We arrived early and was met by Kul who was the owner you made myself and my wife very welcome and gave us both a orange juice upon arrival which was a nice touch. The room was nice and clean and fresh with a nice comfy bed which gave us a good night sleep. Can not comment on breakfast because we had room only but we was offered breakfast if we wanted it.

Very warm welcome from the owner, Kul. Everything explained on arrival and anything you want/need just ask. Extensive selection at breakfast....cereals, toast etc, lots of fresh fruit and a lovely cooked breakfast and unlimited tea/coffee. Rooms and general areas spotlessly clean. 100% recommended.

A lovely break in Torquay

Kul, the owner was an amazing host. Orange juice on arrival. Had our luggage brought in from our car. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with so much choice. A huge selection of cereals, cooked breakfast, toast, an amazing abundance of fresh fruit, tin fruit, yoghurt. Excellent location. Would 100% recommend.

This B&B is a Keeper.

Our whole experience staying at Crimdon Dene was absolutely perfect. Wow!! How happy we were to have found this delightful B&B. Our hosts a lovely couple couldn't do enough for us on arrival. Their son was also delightful. We were slightly earlier than expected. So we were made welcome and given a choice of a hot drink or fresh orange juice whilst we waited. The room was exceptionally clean, and the linen also of high standard, with plenty of little home comforts to match. As for the breakfast. It was second to none. There was so much choice on offer. We had the full English, it was hot tasty with hot coffee brought to the table as and when needed. Simply, it's was just fantastic. Everyone's taste would have been catered for. The seating area at breakfast was again very clean and freshly decorated to a top standard. With freshly laundered table linen. You wouldn't get better surroundings in a top-notch hotel. Everything looks so inviting. It's lovely, just perfect.

To be truly honest. There wasn't anything to dislike about Crimdon Dene. I couldn't fault it. I'm sure it would be hard to find anyone who've stayed at Crimdon Dene to say different, in my opinion.

There's nowhere quite like Crimdon Dene : )

The beds and showers were great. The location ideal for us. The breakfasts, sumptuous.The service and cleanliness were above and beyond what we could have ever hoped - in a class of their own. Kul even picked us up from the station and dropped us back again. Kul went twice as we missed our connection! He has a wonderfully dry and fun sense of humour, which we loved. And he went the extra ten miles for me and my daughter at all times. Kul and his family made it feel like home, but even better. The friendliness and fun we had there made our stay both special and unforgettable.

Everything you need for a satisfying stay and hospitality is second to none.

I didn’t have the breakfast as I left for work an hour and a half before breakfast started. But was given drinks in place of when I returned from work. The proprietor Kul was extremely courteous and went out of his way to make sure that I had everything I needed during my stay.

I have no complaints whatsoever with any part of my visit to this hotel.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming — he greeted us with juice upon arrival and even waited for us because we were running late, which we truly appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, served buffet-style with a great variety: fresh and tasty fruits, coffee, tea, juice, cereals, and more. It was the perfect way to start the day. We felt very comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay!

Relaxing summer getaway in Torquay

Double room was nice size with all amenities and very clean bathroom. Very white and soft towels and pleasant bed. The host was very friendly and he came to pick me up from the train station- it was a bonus. He was providing exceptionally good service and very rich breakfast. Also - I have asked if my luggage can be kept until my afternoon train and it was provided. Five stars for maintenance of the property and customer’s satisfaction ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Parking bonus! Staff with a smile was so lovely.nothing to complain about other then only being there for one night!

Friendly Comfortable stay

The hotel was basic, but had a nice little bar, and a lovely lounge, it was a very clean hotel, , our room was cleaned daily, the host was so friendly, let us know anything we needed just ask, And the location was good, just minute's away from beach or town centre, wth other shops even nearer, We had a lovely stay 🙂

Not really complaints, had a nice ensuite room, but an extra toilet somewhere in the building would have come in handy, also there were no takeaways allowed in the room, so could not fetch supper back if wanted to, And maybe a little music playing in the bar area would have been nice, But without doubt we really enjoyed our stay 🙂

Bed room 3 not good very nosy with the water though the night

Good breakfast , Room 1 no pull down curtains as you get into the shower just a frosted window , The shower was very small considering it was a family room . In the shower there are soaps holders they were rustdy so in my mind should not have been there . Not good condition. This hotel in my mind it’s not a four star hotel 😆.

Fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Very clean, homely and well looked after B&B. Relaxed atmosphere, no noise, well equipped rooms with en suite. Room for parking on site, short walk to the railway station and seafront. Excellent value for money. I would highly recommend Crimdon Dene.

It was central and the breakfast was amazing and the family were great couldn’t do enough even though we never say Kul,s wife she cooked a great breakfast whatever you wanted and his daughter did an amazing job whilst Dad was away.

A Torquay Treat- Crimdon Dene

From the start till the end of our visit, Kul and his family were absolutely fantastic hosts. The cleanliness of the B and B was superb. We stayed in room 11, which was lovely and quiet.We also kept our window open as it was quite warm weather, and tbh it was so peaceful and quiet during the night,we slept really well.Breakfast was lovely whether you wanted a full breakfast or just something light.Any dietary needs were catered for,along with changing items,if required with the cooked breakfast. The B and B were in the right vicinity for us ,10 minutes to the beach,along with many lovely restaurants,and a 45-minute walk to Torbay air show/Paignton.

I can't fault anything. Any needs when requested were sorted.

The welcome and service by Kol and his family was exceptional. The place was spotless. The double room was enormous, had everything and was serviced daily. The shower was powerful. There was a hairdryer, TV, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. There was hand wash, hair/shower gel, lotion, tissues, a mirror with a shelf and seat, tables and chairs, a tray with coffee, tea, milk, biscuits and hot chocolate. There's a welcome booklet and free wi-fi. There are a few parking spaces outside at the driveway for free but you can park opposite or in Bridge Street, the next left. There's a bar, leaflets on attractions and a lounge room on entering. The B&B and area is very quiet and residential. No issues. Outside turn right and walk down the hill for Torres Abbey, the beach and harbour. Turn left for the town which is just less than ten minutes walk away. There's a McDonalds, ASDA and petrol stations five minutes away by car and plenty of parking.

Everything that I needed for my stay.

The breakfast was very good and you could have as much tea or coffee as you desired. You could also substitute items for those you didn't want. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The location was excellent for both the trains and buses. Very close to Torre Abbey Museum and gardens, and a short walk from the sea front.

Perfect in every way

We have never had such a warm welcome. The owner, Kul, couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was very clean and bright. Breakfast was superb with a huge selection of fresh fruit and yogurts, as well as the cereals and a lovely full English. We were down for a conference at the Riviera Centre, which was 5 minutes walk away, so a perfect location. The walk along the seafront into town was beautiful.
