Just fantastic brilliant service from start to finish ,will definitely be back soon 😀

The breakfast was excellent! I would like it a little warmer for my taste but it didn't bother me to much, I still munched it all down. My wife and I love the owners they cannot do enough to make you stay anymore enjoyable this is our third stay with them and we would not stay anywhere else in torquay area.

Torquay Break

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely owners, Fonz and Chay. Good choice for breakfast (optional), the eggs royale were excellent. Bonus to have a small fridge and fresh milk was provided every day.

A bit of a trek into the town centre, but once we'd worked out the buses it wasn't too much of a problem.

Excellent value.

The Bahamas was excellent value for money. Breakfast was lovely every morning and only £10pp Free car parking. Rooms and breakfast room was extremely clean. Our hosts, Fonz and Chay were so lovely and friendly. Overall a lovely few days and would definitely recommend The Bahamas.

Absolutely the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in 53 years of travelling the world

I have spent 53 years in the Merchant Navy and have stayed in hotels in many parts of the world. The Bahamas is the cleanest and most welcoming hotel that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Fonz and Chay, and the breakfast would not be out of place in a top restaurant. I shall definitely be returning.

Exceptional. Not only is everything of the highest quality so much thought and care has been put into every detail. The hosts (Chay and Fonz) make you feel genuinely welcome as soon as you walk through the front door. The breakfasts are not only tasty but so beautifully presented.

Nice room but no privacy, unable to speak freely even after 9pm because the staff says sleep and don’t disturb others.

The rude staff, so much strict and suffocative, just putting some unnecessary pressure on guests. So much restrictions and needless questions for breakfast.

Possibly the best welcome I've had in a hotel Proprietor unfailingly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. Excellent walk in shower. There was a fridge in the bedroom - an all too rare facility but so useful. As well as the usual tea and instant coffee in the bedroom, there were sachets of drinking chocolate, another rare but much appreciated benefit.

The steep gravel drive was not good for my walking aid. The lack of public transport was a drawback as was the long walk for me with a mobility problem to a small range of restaurants.

Enjoyable stay in a conveniently located guest house.

Basic, but clean with very courteous staff. It was conveniently located, handy for the town centre and close to a bus stop.

For the cost of the stay there was little to dislike. Being an older building the floorboards were creaky and the cleaners cupboard was right outside my bedroom.

From the moment I arrived Fonz made me feel welcome. The property is well maintained and is spotless. My room (10) was perfect and had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was outstanding both presentation and quality of food.

Absolutely top notch lovely owners. extremely clean, fabulous breakfast , free parking near to Torquay sea front . only one small issue the water pressure in our room was down so using shower was difficult

A very lovely B&B for first time stay in Torquay

The hosts were really nice and made me feel welcome. Since it was my first time visiting Torquay, she also recommended some places and sightseeing activities to do in Torquay. They have a variety of leaflets for tourist attractions and a very handy map of the town with coastal walk routes. The host is very attentive and always refills the tea, biscuits, and water (and milk). The room and bathroom were really clean and spotless. In addition, I really appreciate having a fan and mini fridge provided in the room given the hot weather during the stay. The location of the B&B is convenient as well, it is about 10-15 mins walk from Torquay station and just a few stone's throw away from Torre Abbey which leads to the harbour in about 20-30 mins walk.

Amazing.

The Bahamas was 100%. Hosts where very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very nice spacious,modern and very clean had plenty of tea/coffee plus hot chocolate in our room plus lovely to have fresh milk and water. Great location too. Will definitely be staying again.
