Room was spacious, I like how all hotels Was linked and you can use all facilities.

Floorboards in room where very squeaky even in the bathroom and no soft closures on doors so everytime someone walks through the hallways into there rooms the door slam.

It was a good stay and the kids really enjoyed it just wish they would have fixed the rooms so they were more functional

I have 3 children 14, 6 and 3 and there was plenty to do for all the children swimming indoor and outdoor, bowling, soft play, arcade, park and play areas, evening entertainment. We did really enjoy our stay but if you have a pushchair be mindful there are lots and lots of steps, lifts are available but stairs still have to be taken so this was a bit of a pain but over all the kids had a really great time

The hotel itself is great it’s clean and the facilities are great for a short stay however the building itself is very run down the hot water in our room went off twice and we had to call reception for someone to come and help, this was done quickly and staff were really helpful but it’s not what you want when a family of 5 with 3 children have been to the beach and all need showers, and again when I was drying my hair the hair drier blew up again I called reception and this was resolved quickly but as it blew the fuse we couldn’t watch tv or charge any devices which caused a bit of a pain

I liked the swimming pool

Almost everything was bad!!! I rebooked this hotel because I came here back in 2022 and I loved it so much that I wanted to stay here again but alas…. I was so disappointed!!!my room was dirty and bathroom had brown marks on the sink!!!my 2nd night was ba dc because there were bed bugs on my bed and they were so big nd bloody when I killed them.!!I reported it to reception and she said they will look into it.when I came back to my room my bed was not even cleaned again or they never even came to change the bed or see what they can do about the filthy bed…..on day 4 I found more bed bugs on my bed and told them but still no one tried to even change the bedding till I had to ask the cleaner more than twice

The swimming pool, although it could do with a deep clean, there is a tide mark at water level, the changing rooms were not clean even 10 min after opening

Close to the sea side and accessible to other restaurants.

Dirty, the facilities and building old and not clean/ maintained properly. One of the rooms sink was draining very slowly, the other room the bathroom door had a broken handle and toilet dirty, and not fully functional. Food was not great, toilet not cleaned, linen with old blood stain.

Ceiling all had paint peeling and poor lighting. Entertainment wasn’t great- empty.kids didn’t eat free like in Premier Inn, which meant it was an expensive add on, hence why we didn’t eat there.

TLH Carlton Hotel - Very disappointing

That the access to the swimming pool, sauna and steam pool were included with our stay

The property is run down and dirty. The reception issued us the wrong room. The rooms are poorly ventilated and you hear all doors banging shut. Creaky floorboards. Mouldy and rotting bathroom fixtures.

Outside pool and close to sea front

It was dirty, lacked TLC, the outside pool closed at 5pm despite the fact the weather was hot and people were using it. The window in the bedroom didn’t open and it was very hot and light in there.

Not a thing..this was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to.

Dirty facilities. The pool is only open Friday-Sunday which wasn’t disclosed. Mattress had springs poking our backs and staff was unable to resolve.

DONT BOTHER

The spa was amazing, and the indoor pool. Stacey did a lovely job of our room, which made it look like a really nice bed. It was comfortable . Reception staff were lovely. .

Isn't worth £130 for the night ,breakfast was cold, and the bacon and eggs were like rubber. I actually gagged . Couldn't access the other facilities because of a party going on, which, considering the price paid, I feel there should have been some accessibility to the bar and outside pool . Also, I thought that if staying at the hotel parking was meant to be free? Which wasn't had to pay £10 and not enough car parking spaces ,my car has a few scratches on the drivers door as the car parking spaces are really tight and someone's obvious tried squeezing in next to me . Save your time and just go somewhere else .

A good complex with a range of facilities

You cannot fault the Fire & Ice experience; a real treat.

The menu was limited in the bar area, and the restaurant staff were quite dismissive . I felt the attention was lacking as I was by myself, which was disappointing.

The staff were not very welcoming, upon arrival at the reception the lady was quite rude in welcoming us.

Not the best or worst for a total experience at the price.

Breakfast is a typical "English" plus fruit, yoghurt, toast and croissants/omelets (by request), paired with tea coffee and fruit juices. The swimming pool was a descent facility that had been well looked after. Staff were mostly great, but Ellis and Elisha on the bar stuck out, were friendly, professional and clearly the hardest workers. The ladies in the restaurant were wonderful each morning, friendly, confident and professional. Shout out for the young lady with the blonde pony tail, she's a credit to any hospitality business. Please look after those I have mentioned, they make you all look good, and offset any "bad" points.

The hotel looks tired, need of a refurb. Beds were uncomfortable, worse than any budget hotel chain, springs poking despite a topper, so woke with a bad back each morning. The foreign receptionist seemed pressured and "short", but who knows what is happening in her work or life.
