1 night stay Southbank Townhouse

Our room.suite! Extra bedroom with single bed adjacent to.our double room throughout was tastefully decorated nice shower room plenty of bath sheets and hand towels very clean throughout. Good selection of bevrages plus coffee pod machine. Good breakfast lots of choice.

Everything was very good only parking as all spots were taken so had to.park further up the road. I do know they said you could double park but a bit of a faff but it was not a major problem.

Best stay

I loved the warm and lovely decor, (very inviting) everything was very clean and comfortable. The manager (I forget his name, brain fog) was really friendly and great to talk to. Breakfast was wonderful and cooked fresh to order (all local produce).. I will definitely be coming back 🙏😊.

Location was perfect. Dolores was terrific, delicious breakfast and the room were spotless. The house is beautifully restored and curated impeccably with lots of interesting pieces. Will definitely be back.

Lovely guest house

A beautifully decorated and clean Bed & Breakfast. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and professional. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Our room was at the front - we had to close the windows at night, which made the room very warm, because of the loud noise from the traffic on the main road and the people walking along the road until early hours. Even with the windows shut, it was still noisy!

Lovely hotel

Absolutely loved our stay. The hotel was beautifully designed and the decor was lovely. The welcome was friendly and breakfast good- it was all-round perfect for what we needed.

If we ever need to stay over night again in Torquay this will be my first option

Location was great just far enough away from the late night noise 5 mins from the harbour 10min walk from town centre. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Come and go as you please without any restrictions. Nice breakfast set up and friendly environment.

Parking at any venue like this can be challenging so not a complaint however I do feel that it should be made clear on booking .com that there where less spaces than rooms at time of booking as we only found out when we had an email from them a few days before arrival. I parked my large van on the street next to hotel as it would have taken up 1.5 spaces so tried to be respectfully to others but had I known this at time of booking I would have probably looked for another venue although I was glad I didn't as this one was spot on. Again it's not a complaint it's a suggestion so people know there are less spaces than rooms

Amazing defo returning

Amazing hosts was chatty around breakfast after being served the best English breakfast I have ever had. All from local sources. Got given a free upgrade to a super king room. Ned was amazing shower was amazing all in all a amazing weekend

You must stay here....

From the moment we walked in, Dolores was so welcoming and friendly. The whole house is just beautifully decorated with so many interesting historical features and lots of amazing pictures and other things all over. The dining room is beautiful with a gorgeous cooked breakfast sat by the fire. My daughter really wants the grey high back chair 😆 The house is ideally located for everything nearby, yet quiet and cosy when you're inside. As an extra touch, our amazing host found my daughter a sketchbook and some pencils as she had forgotten hers. We don't often get away and were so pleased with how good value our whole stay was. It really exceeded all expectations. This is where we will stay in the future. P.S.... Must say once again how beautifully designed each area of the house was. I loved it. 😍

Excellent overnight stay

Loved the decor! Very clever and tasteful refurbishment made the whole place beautiful and interesting. The huge gorgeous bathroom and the separate seating area in the dressing room section of our 'Superior King' room made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable. Lots of space, lots of mirrors, lots of plugs in useful places. Great attention to detail regarding the comfort of guests. Excellent breakfast too.

Very little not to like! It was very hot in the room but that wasn't surprising with the humid heatwave and no wind. The room did have a fan though and that was a godsend. We were very lucky to have found one of the on-site parking spaces free as there aren't enough for all the rooms.

Everything was amazing from checking in early due to 7hr drive, very well situated for a nice walk down to harbour, Amazing breakfast and both Danny&Dolores are fantastic hosts, 2nd time here but we will be back again next year.
