What an amazing end to our trip to Devon & Cornwall. If we come back we will definitely stay with David & Tonny.

Everything! The welcome from David & Tonny was lovely, the Prosecco & hot towels a nice touch. The property was beautifully clean and Tonny & David had thought of everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was delicious and the cake & fruit when we were leaving was extremely thoughtful.

This is just 1st class

Tonny and David are just perfect hosts. They were long serving crew members of 1st class Concorde passengers and you certainly feel like one from the moment you arrive when they offer champagne and hot towels. David is a great cook and breakfast was super good. We admittedly booked our stay because we were curious to see how it is possible that this place has 10/10 score. I have to say they deserve 11/10.

Exceptional - don’t hesitate to make your reservation!

Exceptional welcome from our hosts, Tonny and David, with bubbles and warm towels plus all the info you would need for a stay in Torquay, Lovely comfortable room which was refreshed beautifully during our stay. Delicious breakfast presented beautifully. We were given cake and fruit in a little bag when we left. An exceptional BnB run by exceptional hosts.

Tonni and David have a most beautiful and comfortable B&B. We were welcomed in as soon as we got out of the car and shown into the beautifully decorated lounge and offered refreshments straight away. They both made us feel very welcome . Everywhere was spotlessly clean and lavishly decorated and our bedroom very comfortable, with a choice of comfy pillows to use. Many different teas, coffees and hot chocolate (husband very happy), lovely home-made cakes, etc. Complimentary White Company products in bathroom with soft white fluffy towels. Attention to detail in abundance here along with two very hospitable friendly hosts who are always on hand to help. Weren't we the lucky ones to find Tyndale!!

An amazing experience.

The greeting, friendliness of our hosts and showing us every detail of our room and facilities. The attention to detail was amazing. One thing that greatly impressed me was the double reach waiter's friend corkscrew - not many people would have provided these or realised how much more useful they are in opening wine bottles!

Made a relaxing break extra special

We absolutely loved the personal touches. From greeting us at the door with a brolly to remembering what we both like for breakfast or the cakes in the room etc. The cleanliness and customer service was above and beyond. It felt very homely and welcoming, you certainly aren’t just a number.

Gorgeous , fantastic, simply the best B 7 B

the hosts were amazing , welcoming and attended to us in an excellent way . The food was out of this world, freshly cooked, tasty and served hot as requested.

The sofa in the bedroom needs firming up . Everything else was fantastic!!!

Within easy walking distance of local amenities. Our room was absolutely perfect, David and Tonny have thought of everything! Breakfast was amazing, such a huge choice. Loved the bath towels and the hot towels when we arrived were much appreciated.

Paradise... by the Devonian light! Is there anything Tonny and David haven't thought of at Tyndale? This place is perfect, divine, stylish, cozy, exuberant, all at once, and the two hosts are warm and welcoming. The breakfast is 100% personalized, tailored to your wishes and your mood that morning. If you get chance to stay here you must, it's absolutely wonderful!

David & Tonny really go the extra mile! Superb greeting when we arrived and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. They've simply thought of everything you could possible need and everywhere is spotlessly clean. One of the nicest breakfasts we've eaten at any hotel. They even presented us with a little goodie bag of cake & fruit for our journey home. We'll definitely be back!

We were given a warm welcome. David and Tonny are very friendly hosts. Everywhere was clean and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts. The guest house was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. They provided excellent breakfast all very fresh and even extras like cake, biscuits and chocolates left in the room daily.

Nothing other than for us it wasn’t as central to bars etc as we would have liked but worth it for the excellent accommodation.

Fabulous stay and exceptional hosts

Sometimes wonderful hosts can camouflage the overall facilities and upgrade ratings and surroundings. In this case, David and Tonny are exceptional hosts, and only cement their ratings. As a couple, we have stayed at many 5-star resorts throughout the globe, and I have to say that David and Tonny would stand their own at every one of these. What a fabulous pair, their attention to every minute detail was well executed and carefully planned. The breakfast was first class, and for a boutique B&B the choice and quality were exceptional. David is a great cook, Tonny is a marvellous host. The dining area was available 24/7 to allow for those extra little drinks and snacks. The choice and quality are close to £25/30 per head, making the pricing of the stay and room great value. The boutique B&B and the room we stayed in was exceptional. It had everything we required and possibly more. To be fair to the area and overall accommodation, there’s only so much David and Tonny can achieve, without a full rebuild and what the accommodation does offer is first class. Tyndale made our stay in Torquay a memorable one, and I would be delighted to return, or venture to any of David and Tonny’s locations/parties or dining experiences. Finally, we must give the facilities 9/10, which seems somewhat harsh, but I can’t think of many 10/10 locations across the globe. However, for going out of their way and that feeling you’ve been treated to the best service, I will happily give David and Tonny 10/10 “It doesn’t get much better than this”. Paul/Natalie

A boutique, adult only b&b with thoughtful, extra touches to really make it 5 star. The breakfast was exceptional, the room comfy, additional details - such as homemade cakes, a stocked fridge with soft drinks, water bottles for your day trips & fresh fruit, makes this a stand out b&b.

Perfect little gem

What a perfect little gem. Not too far from sea front and lovely walk, but far enough to be peaceful. The hosts and such a lovely couple, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive, talking the time to remember you name and ask about your day. Lots of lovely little touches in the room. Breakfast was perfect, would most definitely recommend and hope to return one day .

Rick and Able were very welcoming and hospitable. The en-suite room was tastefully decorated and furnished, and very clean. Bed was super comfy. We appreciated the attention to detail. Breakfast menu catered for different appetites and vegetarian options. 5***** rating is well deserved. Highly recommend.

Clean, friendly, comfortable and close to beach and harbour.

Location was excellent. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach and harbour if you cut through Torre Abbey. Close to lots of restaurants and shops but far enough away for it to be relatively quiet. Breakfast was really good quality food and lots of it. Would highly recommend Tyndale B&B as hosts were friendly and accommodation was comfortable and clean.

Lovely stay in Torquay

Really amazing stay. Felt very welcome. Had different dietary requirements that were accommodated for breakfasts. Given great tips for the area. Was good to get away and glad we chose this hotel.

The pillows were a little soft but that really is personal preference as I like them very firm. Also I didn't mention it to the owners so have no idea if they could have provided firmer pillows.
