Perfect Guesthouse with perfect hosts.

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. The room was comfortable and immaculate with lots of extras. The hosts were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. We highly recommend The Sandpiper Guesthouse and hope to return.

The walls were a little thin so could hear the room talking next door until late. We bought earplugs for the next night! Problem solved -

Delightful, relaxing and made us feel refreshed

From booking to arriving the communication has been outstanding. I had sent a message about late check in, which I was a little worried about. But received a reply stopping my stress straight away! When we did arrive it was late but we were still met with a smiling and very polite Debbie. She showed us around and explained some bits. Then took us to the most beautiful room. The room had everything we could ever need. It was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. When we woke the next morning we went down to the dining room for breakfast. The breakfast gave you a great start to the day with plenty of choices meaning both days we didn’t need lunch!! Both Debbie and Denise were friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable of the area. Two ladies who love what they do and it shows in the accommodation and the way they treat you. We would definitely return it’s in a great location to walk to Torquay or drive. Thank you

A beautiful, comfortable property

Amazing staff. Lovely, spacious, light family room. The breakfast was heaven. My family had a wonderful stay here.

Well maintained clean guest house with free parking. Good quality breakfast and the owners were friendly, helpful interesting people with a great enthusiastic approach to their business.

Would have preferred a bigger room and quite a hilly long walk into the main part of Torquay. However the good standards there make up for it.

High quality breakfast with great choice of menu. All extremely well presented at the table. The Sandpiper Guest House is totally immaculate throughout and a class act to follow. Highly recommendable.

Peaceful, relaxing and very comfortable

This is a lovely guesthouse located in a peaceful, leafy area of Torquay close to the Riviera Coference Centre. We were attending a conference. The owners were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The Guest House is extremely clean, comfortable and relaxing. Our room was nicely decorated and careful attention had been give to the needs of visitors. We really enjoyed our time here along with the great breakfasts. Thank you.

Friendly staff and good location

Free parking and a clean room with a view towards the sea. Beds are comfortable and extra throws available if necessary. Decent breakfast with some standard options. Walking distance to beach walk and outdoor activities.

Heating turned off at night, plus cold draft from poorly insulated windows made the room freezing at lower outside temperatures. Noted and will be looked at by staff.

Unassuming Little Gem!

The hosts were very welcoming. Everything was clean and tidy. The hosts were unassuming and worked hard to get everything just right. The room with ensuite was well appointed and very clean. The location was ideal for exploring either Torquay or further afield. Great choice of breakfasts - well cooked and delicious with excellent service. Would definitely recommend it and come back.

Perfect stay and great value for money.

Lovely quiet location yet within walking distance of everything, the accommodation is beautifully presented, comfortable and immaculately clean. Our room was spacious with a lovely view. Breakfast was ordered the day before and delicious with a good choice available. Parking at the property is a real bonus. The owners are super friendly and we absolutely would book the Sandpiper the next time we visit Torquay.
