The staff went above and beyond in order to make us happy was such a lovely place to stay.

Good location and parking , very good service and excellent breakfast. Room was clean and tidy and Denness and Helga excellent proprietors.

The only thing I can write is it got very cold in the night with the heating off. Alas we were provided with fan heater to supplement. Then again we were in the mist of winter.

The breakfast is excellent and plenty of choices including fresh fruit. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are full of little extras which make your stay even more special

Pretty much faultless with lovely hosts.

Comfy bed. Water and milk in the fridge. Biscuits on the side. So many little touches such as cotton buds and cotton wool in the bathroom. TV with dvds to watch. Plenty of lights in the bedroom. And a ceiling fan. Breakfast was excellent, with the owners, whose names I forget as I write, coming to quickly clear items away. Had a lovely fruit salad for breakfast and the cheese, mushroom, tomato, and onion omelette I had was excellent. Plan to book again when I am in the area next year.

My only gripe was that the room was a little small. Other than that, excellent!

Brilliant!

Room was excellently appointed complete with small private patio area which I was not expecting. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was brilliant and the table settings were very nice. The owners were incredibly friendly and very keen tomake the stay enjoyable. Will definitely book again.

Very enjoyable stay.

Excellent accommodation. Good location. Near the train station. Friendly host & hostess. Nothing too much trouble for them. Room clean and tidy and spoilt with them stocking up the fridge on a daily basis with water, milk, and providing tea/coffee facilities as well as providing clean towels. On site parking also available. Would stay here again and would recommend this accommodation.

Stayed one night in Room 2. The room was spotless with beautiful decor. King-sized bed plus a single—great value and couldn’t fault anything. Highly recommend. Did not have breakfast

Helga and Deneys were fantastic hosts, our rooms were amazing, clean and had lots of extra touches, very comfi beds and the ceiling fan was amazing, lovely fresh milk and a great choice of drinks provided, we had a lovely time staying here, and look forward to coming back.

Fantastic stay at the Arran Lodge B&B.

Once again, exceptional service from Helga and Deney. On arrival, I was greeted like a friend whom they both had not seen in a long time. I was made to feel at home straight away and had the impression that nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast the following morning was as ordered and cooked fresh using delicious, top-quality ingredients. I highly recommend staying at the Arran Lodge B&B.

Wonderful accommodation and hosts, would definitely recommend!

Helga and Denys were the absolute perfect hosts, the attention to detail was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. The cleanliness of the guest house and rooms were impeccable and the presentation and quality of the food at breakfast was outstanding. We cannot praise this accommodation enough and will definitely return.

Lovely place with lovely people to take care of you!

Deneys & Helga are wonderful hosts, a great welcome when you arrive! Got an upgrade, which is always a plus & on such a beautiful day when I arrived. I arrived by mainline rail & arrived at Torquay station, there is Torre station which is nearer, (100 meters) so you might have to arrange accordingly, or get a taxi. Not much parking I'm afraid, I could only see room for two vehicles but not sure if there was parking at the rear of the property. There is a local bus service to Torquay that stops nearby & passes Torquay station eventually. (Service 12) The room that I had included a private balcony that's shaded with a fridge with bottled water & fresh milk for your tea & coffee. The bed, although being quite firm ended up being very comfy indeed with the choice of a soft or medium/firm pillow. The shower en suite is the perfect size. If you've forgotten to pack your personal stuff, they have that there for you, along with slippers & a bath robe, they thought of everything! The free WiFi was easy to get into with no lagging problems. P.S. they give you a welcoming cup cake! Breakfast was lovely with a bit of music in the background, fresh orange juice & a cafetiere of coffee. You order your breakfast from the list & alter or keep the same. Overall, a very nice stay on the tail end of some glorious weather & with the English Riviera on your doorstep, about a mile away & the ideal location with the most charming couple at the helm of Arran Lodge. I'd definitely come again for a good stay! 😉🤗⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic stay

Had a brilliant week at this b&b . Spotlessly clean & hosts were so friendly. They went above & beyond to make sure our holiday was one to remember. Breakfast was delicious. Room was lovely & nothing was too much trouble. They even had umbrellas for us for the two days it rained . Would stay here again in a heartbeat !

A very relaxing break, made possible by our host’s.

Our host’s were so welcoming, nothing was too much bother for both of them. The breakfast was above and beyond set us up for the day, they had thought of everything you would need for a stress free break will definitely book again.
