So great, that I didn’t want to leave! Haha!

Everything! The decor, the furnishings, the towels, the bed, the shower, the art work…all fabulous! Amazing stay! Fantastic hosts who couldn’t do enough for us! Absolutely delicious Breakfast! Our room was SO spotlessly clean, and bed was comfy. Bathroom was great. Toiletries supplied were brilliant. Nice touches by Hosts…The homemade Fudge and Rocky Road, that was in the room, was delicious. As was the homemade Marmalade and Jam, at the Breakfast Table.

Stay at Bentley Lodge, "Comfortable, Warm, Extremely Clean & Excellent Value"!

My stay at Bentley Lodge was really good & upon arrival I was met by the host Debbie. She is a very warm & very welcoming person. The room was very tastefully decorated & extremely clean throughout. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom was spotless throughout. Fresh milk, filtered water, a selection of teas & coffee & some rather tasty treats were provided in the room. I requested an early breakfast & it was no trouble at all for Rich & Debbie. My breakfast was tasty & met my expectations. "Good quality produce". Lovely morning hosting by Rich & Debbie. Lovely down to earth people whom enjoy & know how to host. "Professional but also Very Sincere". Thank You!

One of the best small hotels in England! We will be back!

This is the best small hotel we have stayed at in England! We will definitely be back. Lovely comfy bed, great decoration and ample storage. The shower room was compact but extremely clean and tidy. The towels are great quality and a good size. Home made fudge, sweets and Netflix on the TV. The breakfast choices were many and the quality of the locally sourced items was very good. A great tasty breakfast!

More than perfect

Very pretty room, the most comfy bed, powerful shower. The cleanest room I have ever seen, equipped with everything we needed. The owner has an amazing talent for hospitality, and definitely a perfectionist taking care of even the smallest details (fresh flowers, fudge on the table, homemade fruitcake as a leaving gift).

A superb stay - we would not hesitate to return.

Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Very thoughtful additions like a mini fridge with milk and filtered water.Tea/coffee making with hot chocolate option and biscuits. Very thorough folder with all the local info. Very well decorated and most importantly- a very comfy bed.

Fantastic Guesthouse with Great hosts.

Debbie and Richard are the perfect hosts. Beautiful guesthouse in a great location, just a nice short walk to the centre through the Abbey grounds. The attention to detail is second to none with home made fudge and Rocky road in the beautiful bedroom. Home made Jam and marmalade for breakfast with tomatoes fresh from the gorgeous gardens. The breakfast was amazing too. We would definitely recommend staying here. If i could score 11 out of 10 i would !!

A lovely B&B with owners that made it an even better stay and hope to come back again one day.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean with a homely feel. The owners Richard and Debbie are very warm and friendly often going above and beyond on many occasions to make the stay enjoyable. They also cater for special dietary requirements. I have a special diet which can be difficult to accommodate but as a nice gesture they left some gluten and dairy free cookies and chocolates in my room which was very kind of them. The location is a 4 minute walk to Torre station and a 15 min walk to Torquay station. I don't often write reviews but I would highly recommend you wont be disappointed.

Excellent facilities !

Debbie and Richard are very warm and welcoming . Debbie even carried our bags upstairs whilst we sat in their lovely garden enjoying welcome drinks. Excellent clean facilities with mini fridge. Nothing is too much for them . They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable !

The Bentley was easy to find. The decor was of excellent quality and you could tell the owners had taken great care. I travel a lot and I can say it was the best night's sleep I've had away from home. All the facilities were excellent especially the garden area which was a lovely area to chill. Richard and Debbie were great host and would recommend the Bentley to all my friends and family. 10 out of 10

Great little B&B with wonderful hosts.

Excellent and upbeat hosts who went out of their way to accomodate any needs we had. Huge variety for breakfast and very well presented with lovely garden. Very clean, secure and comfortable environment in which to stay.

Parking was a little awkward for a low chassis car because of the "dip" into the road. Next time we would pay a little more to have a slightly bigger room.

Fabulous 2 night stay.

Spotlessly clean throughout. Nice extra touches in the rooms. Deb and Richard, the hosts are a lovely couple who go that extra mile for their guests. I was visiting mum in Torbay hospital and their help, support and advice meant so much. Great choice on Breakfast, beautifully cooked and presented. 5 min walk from Torre station. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great welcome with coffee on arrival. Room not disturbed during stay. Great breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Fresh skimmed milk (on request) in room fridge and for breakfast.

Lovely stay and lovely people - highly recommend

The room was spotlessly clean. Debbie was lovely and nothing was too much trouble - she even offered me a lift when I said I was staying for a doctor’s visit. Great location only a 15 minute or so walk to the sea front, and some lovely touches including homemade fudge in the room and fruit cake to send us on our way (both were delicious!). Great facilities in the room including iron, hairdryer, mini fridge with milk and chilled water and coffee making facilities. Highly recommended.

Definitely ‘Bentley’ class

What more can I say than marvellous. Bentley Lodge is most definitely, one of the best B&B’s I have ever stayed at whether in the UK or abroad. Debbie & Ritchie are absolutely excellent hosts, have a wonderfully clean, attractive & comfortable establishment. The decor is so tasteful with lovely & appropriate art work & beautiful pieces of art/artefacts around the building. Beautiful colour scheme. The breakfast choice is excellent, with good quality ingredients; you will not be disappointed with the tasty sausages & bacon ( locally sourced), plus the jams & eggs & croissants and more. The location is great. I had the best sleep for two nights that I’ve had for a long time; the mattress was so comfortable as were the pillows, in a good king sized ( I am not a tall person) I could go on. I will most definitely stay again when I’m next in Torquay and have told so many friends about Bentley Lodge. You will not be disappointed. Oh and the gorgeous garden too!
