Perfect place to stay, would recommend to anyone a little gem

Just back from our 6 night stay at Burleigh House. Location was perfect for us just out of the main busy areas but close enough for a short walk to all the attractions bars and restaurants. Bus stop just outside but we always walked. The Hotel is perfect, nice and clean with a family feel to it. We stayed in room 9 and were more than happy with the room nice size with a big bathroom and everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely with super friendly service and a feeling that the owners are really interested in all the guests making time to chat and providing a friendly atmosphere which is missing in a lot of hotels. Free WiFi was available but we never used so can not comment on that. Parking at the rear of the property was nice and there was free parking on the street outside.

Nice place, nice room, easy parking and access, wonderfully looked after - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were really good. I am having radiotherapy at Torbay Hospital and had to stay somewhere close by as travel times for treatment had become temporarily impossible.

Very homely, clean, lovely breakfast, hosts were wonderful and the location within walking distance to shops, pubs, eating places and you can go for a nice walk along the harbour. Great value for money.

Everything was fine even the steep driveway to the carpark. Once you did the initial first drive up there it was easy enough.

We were greeted when we arrived at hotel. Really happy with size of room with en-suite. Off road parking too. Beautiful breakfast. We both really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Will be going back for sure. .

Brilliant stay at Burleigh house

Ideal location for us and very friendly service, rooms nice and clean and the bed was lovely and comfortable we had a late key to return what ever time we wanted . Breakfast was lovely and my gluten free breakfast was gorgeous .the lady offered to buy whatever gluten free I needed for my meal.it was lovely and quiet during the night no outside noise

From the moment we arrived for our week's stay, found staff very friendly and helpful, it was our second stay in a year and hoping to be back in the next few months as we have business in the area.

I found the bed a little small but that is because of my being 6'4" in height. A little background music whilst having breakfast would be good.

Clean, tidy, friendly staff (Elaine is amazing- offers great local advise and must sees), breakfast was beautiful, there was wifi which worked well for 2/3 nights (they don’t have fast broadband yet as isn’t in that area yet but worked for us streaming Netflix), parking.
