Friendly and good value

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was handy for visiting the monastery and also the bus station for day trips. I appreciated having a room at the back of the building as it is on a fairly busy road. There are supermarkets and cafes nearby.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location in middle of the town

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is good, couple of bars/restaurants and market just across the street. Free parking would be really hard to find, but private parking/garage is also just across the street, recommend using that if available. Elevator was good to have, being a bit mobility impaired at the time of the visit.

Things that cannot be changed unfortunately, room (Deluxe Room) was rather small. Nowhere to put luggage, closet was too small. Very limited table space. Also bathroom rather small.

Wonderful, pleasant stay

We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Perla! The owners were so friendly and kind - all interactions we had were wonderful :) bedrooms were also very clean with everything you would need. Beds were comfy, AC worked perfectly. And breakfast here was really fantastic! Excellent service and food every day :) thank you so much!!

Nice family hotel

A nice, clean, family-run hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast. The coffee was good. Semih at the reception was very attentive and provided good information about Budva, places to eat, and places to visit. We highly recommend staying here when you come to Budva. You won't regret it. Thank you for everything.

A very clean, very central, and very safe hotel.

A very clean, very central, and very safe hotel. It's within walking distance of the city center and the beaches. We didn't use the car at all. A lovely family runs this place, and they're incredibly attentive. Their breakfast is also excellent. You can choose this hotel with peace of mind.

We stayed with 5 people. A little improvement in the beds so that 5 people can stay in the same room would raise the quality considerably.

A Wonderful Stay in Budva – Highly Recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel in Budva! Everything exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was delicious and varied every morning — fresh fruits, warm pastries, and local specialties made it a perfect start to the day. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcoming with a smile. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, with great attention to detail. Cleanliness was definitely a highlight of our stay. The location is also excellent – just a 10-minute walk to the beach, which was super convenient, and about 20 minutes to the beautiful Old Town of Budva. It was the perfect balance of quiet and accessibility. Overall, a great experience! I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budva.

Great stay and perfect location

We stayed here for three nights, the apartment was everything like on pictures. We really enjoyed our stay, staff made sure we have everything we need during our stay and were very attentative. The good breakfast was included, and you can buy everything you need in radius of 50 meters. We will definetely come back sometime.

Amazing environment

Great environment and polite staff very welcoming and helpful Really enjoyed the views and the comfortable beds . Staff were very helpful as I had a child and gave me a lot of support . No disturbance at night . Sami and his wife had great communication skills with their customers and meet any tasks that I needed help with . Really warm and relaxing place . Defently recommend again when I come back to the city . Thank you very much guys

Everything perfect!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming . The room was very clean, big and nice. I was super happy because i asked for a small birthday surprise and they had prepared very nice surprise for us, with balloons cake and wine. It was perfect!! I highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly Host and Great Location

The hotel owner was incredibly friendly — he greeted us personally and gave helpful information. The rooms were clean and bright, with a balcony. A tasty breakfast was served. Walking distance to both the Old Town and the beaches. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and very kind staff, great VFM

The receptionist was very kind and helpful and the service was excellent!! he even carried our luggage. The room had a sofa in it which was good and the bed was very comfortable. The size of the room is fine for two people.

The breakfast was fine but it would be nicer if the hotel add more fresh vegetables (there were only tomatoes).

An excellent place to stay with an excellent host.

Hotel Perla di Mare is located about 30 minutes walk from the Old Town in Budva, but only 10 minutes walk to the bus station for day trips to places like Kotor and Cetinje (buses every 30-60 minutes). The local bus for Sveti Stefan goes every 15 minutes from the main road through Budva and the nearest bus stop is roughly 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is run very well by Semih, his wife and father in law. Semih deals with reception, admin and breakfast, his wife cleans the rooms and his father in law does the maintenance where possible. Semih is very friendly, speaks excellent English and, as a former chef, cooks an excellent breakfast. I will miss his morning omelettes. The hotel is spacious, well furnished and very well decorated. The breakfast room is particularly nice. Breakfast is buffet style and is served between 8-10am. There is a lift covering all four floors. The rooms and front door are operated with a key card system. There is no 24/7 reception, so you need to make Semih aware when you are intending to arrive. Otherwise, you can come and go as you please with the key card. Good supermarkets and takeaway food (eg. pizza) nearby on the same street. Excellent wifi. Very good value out of season (mid-April) - only 35GBP per night. The "season" starts mid-May, so unfortunately there are no tour companies running day trips to Lovcen National Park and Albania until mid-May. Overall, 9 out of 10 for the hotel. An excellent place to stay with an excellent host.

1 It would be useful to have someone regularly on reception as a point of contact if something went wrong (eg. in the evenings). 2 Earlier breakfast time (eg. 7.30am) would be useful for catching early buses. 3 Breakfast was good, but could be even better with a wider variety of food and drink (eg. juices, fruit, yoghurts). The omelettes, though, were excellent, and Semih went out of his way to buy me juice. 4 The taxi transfer from Tivat airport can be arranged for 40 euros. Very expensive for what is normally a 30 minute trip.

Everything was awesome. Very spacious and beautifully decorated room. Great location - lots of eateries and shops nearby and short walk from the bus station. Great wholesome breakfast and friendly, accommodating staff.

Parking was challenging. The on-site was fully booked and we had to park far at a place we weren’t sure how safe it would be. Everything went well after that, but initially it felt strange.

The rooms are relatively basic but they’re comfortable and there’s everything you need. The breakfast has plentiful options and it’s well located; all in all this is a great budget option for Budva.

- we ordered 2 beds for kids, and they made only 1 bed. one of the kids had to sleep with us. staff was not helpful, only after many requests from our side. - we got different room than what we ordered - staff was not helpful with the bed situation - low maintenance of shower head and electricity
