Overall i can’t fault the area, and maybe we just got unlucky with our property. But at nearly £300 for 2 nights I expec

Hot tub is well maintained and checked daily to assure it’s still safe. The location is lovely and very peaceful. Private parking outside the property was nice.

Very dirty. The ceilings, pictures above the bed and door frames were covered in cobwebs and the property smelt damp. The decking was on its way out and sinking underfoot. The front door handle was loose which made it difficult to lock the door. The fan in the bathroom wasn’t working which is causing mould to grow on the ceiling of the shower. The fan not working also meant than the steam from showering stayed in the air and then settled on the cold tiles as standing water which made the bathroom unsafe and slippery. Some of the utensils had food on so we felt like we needed to wash all the pots and the watered down washing up liquid didn’t make this any easier. The property could also have done with providing something to clean it up slightly eg a mop and atleast a dustpan and brush or the bare minimum being cleaned property for arrival as those cobwebs definitely weren’t recent, they had been there quite a while.

Lovely relaxing place.

Nice size lodge for the two of us, peaceful location, hot tub was lovely and ready on arrival.

Bathroom could do with a shelf or 2 for products and hooks on back of doors would be handy to hang towels/dressing gowns.

2 night relaxing break.

Hot tub was lovely very quiet peaceful surroundings enjoyed our stay very relaxing break away from the busy lifestyle.

outdoor seating needs updating as rusty and potentially dangerous around table edges. a few updates in furnishings to improve comfort. woodland walk could do with some attention as it could be beautiful.

inside was beautiful secluded and cosy

unfortunately I was admitted to hospital a day after using the hot tub and they discovered I had a water parasite I’d only used the hot tub once and was the only source of water I’d been in until I got poorly I didn’t have a chance to enjoy my stay as I was constantly sick. I didn’t sleep, eat or use the hot tub anymore after the first day.

Could of had more than one bath towel and floor Matt for each person. It would of been better if there had been a new bath towel for each day of the stay.

Great for a couple of nights stay, would holiday there again.

Very clean and quiet location, property was a little smaller than expected but was adequate for our needs. Loved the remoteness of this location and the site wasn’t over populated with cabins. Lovely to see the amount of wildlife around especially the pheasants. The jacuzzi was clean and ready for us on arrival, lovely and warm with a fence around giving privacy for our dip.

There wasn’t a hair dryer at the property and even though they didn’t advertise one I was surprised in this day and age one wasn’t provided. No Wi-Fi except at reception which was closed on arrival. We have also come accustom to condiments being at the properties we have holidayed at, there was none, no complementary products at all. There was a wildlife pond on the grounds but sadly needed attention. It looked like it hadn’t been attended to for a couple of years and maybe Covid had a part to play in that.

Great experience nice cosy little lodge

Lodge was lovely - clean and tidy - hot tub was on and ready to use straight away area nice and quiet - great walk for dogs around.

little touches in the lodge that could have been easily fixed. toilet roll holder falling off & towel rail, toilet was loose moving around needs re-attaching and main table was loose and wobbly. lighting heading up to the lodge was poor lights on trees not working.

The mould on the walls the radiator hanging off the wall only supply one suace pan the smell off damp dog no hot water well just enough to wash a plate the poor shower it was like showering in spitting rain the unswept floor outside the lodge i could go on and on the mould on the Bedside table the smell of mould was disgusting

Nice and clean comfortable bed all facilities in kitchenette you need for a weekend away accommodation was warm .

Heated towel rail hanging off wall shower pressure very poor bottom shelf in fridge broken . Lack of bathroom mats for slipping on tiled floor .

location was good for visiting the surrounding area.

the hot tub area needed a clean. a green soaking mat you had to stand on to get into the hot tub should have a rubber mat which had drainage. However, the hot tub itself was spotless. as the lodge is covered in trees it meant the floor surrounding the floor had debris which carried on your feet into the hot tub could have been swept prior to arrival and the two plastic chairs washed over. limited utensils literally two of everything. lucky I took cleaning cloths otherwise washing the dishes would be impossible to leave clean on departure. no instructions on how to use the hot tub. thought the cost was high for what we had as no sitting out area so just used as a base as couldn't spend the day at the lodge. checking in at 4pm on a short break means you lose your first day and then have to be out by 10.00 on departure. Normally you can check in at 12.00 in other places I have stayed.

The facilities were very good at the property and was everything we needed. If I had to make one criticism it would be that the double bed should be replaced with a king size as there is plenty of room too accommodate this

Kein Wlan, man konnte sich auch nicht in die Rezeption setzen um zu arbeiten.
