Was really quiet, really easy to find, good value for money

it could of been cleaned a bit more, had cob webs on windows and food from previous people left on top of cupboards, had no WiFi at all, hot tub lights didn’t work and did not mention it to us until we went to reception.

Good - just a bit tired in places

Cosy, decent hot tub, quiet and picturesque location. Staff helpful. Can bring the dog.

For the lodge we stayed in, considering our previous stay in 2021 and for the price - it all seemed a bit tired now.. No hand soap provided, odd and missing crockery. Wasn’t all that clean when arrived. WiFi limited (good thing for some I suppose!).

Lovely Lodge

Loved how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were. Area was great, and local restaurants and pubs are ideal for a good night out.

Not the Facilities fault, but we couldn't find a Taxi or Uber service to and from local town, and walking the distance wasn't possible.

Perfectly relaxing getaway.

What a Gem. Nestled in the woods. Our stay was very peaceful, we had a wonderfully relaxed couple of days. The cottage was spotlessly clean, bright and inviting. The hot tub was amazing with its own private fenced area and was clean. The bed was very comfy, couldn’t have asked for anything else.

Pleasant

There was a smell of surge which wasn't pleasant dew. To the hot weather. Also the main gate was missing which caused us problems due to our husky dog, so we had to make use of a clothes horse. Hot tub was lovely.

Hot tub was fabulous.lovely and would love to have walked around there but due to the weather it was a little boggy on the grounds.

No hair dryer, would have liked tea sugar and coffee to be left if only a few,as no shop in walking distance.

overall a nice and quiet stay.

the lodge was spotless and very comfortable!

we were only given half a toilet roll to last two full days! (this isn’t major as there is a shop fairly near by) but this could be a problem if someone visits who doesn’t drive. the hot tub could do with a shelter above as it was raining throughout the whole stay so didn’t benefit using the hot tub which is one of the main reasons we stayed. Again, this is not fault of the owners but would be good to have!

Hot tub/ how quiet it was relaxing.

Cleanliness was very poor Have a photo of the bed there is wood block hanging at the end of the bed i hit my toe on. Very bad in the dark No tidy lighting there. Also in twin room lights flickering. HAD TO BRING TOLIET ROLL/KITCHEN ROLL. Thought that should of been in there as its basic we were told that if we wanted towels we had to hire them £4.00. But when we arrived there was some there.. no communication i had to message to make sure it wasnt going on the bill. Out in the hottub. There should be door added and hooks to hang our towels.

lovely and spacious, clean and warm. Only 20mins drive to Carmarthen. contactless checkin and check out. hot tub was on and warm on arrival. dog friendly at no extra cost.

really dim lighting, which is lovely and cosy but not very practical when trying to do makeup/view inside your suitcase. Hot tub area wasn’t fully enclosed, which wasn’t practical for our dog, we had to make our own barrier to stop him from leaving the garden area.
