Loved the stay in the lodge it was just what we needed very quiet and the relaxing break we wanted
Only down on this was there was nothing to keep clean after yourself like mop and hover one of the radiators was falling off the wall other than these little things it was perfect I’d definitely book again thank you for a lovely stay

Worst place we’ve ever stayed!
This property is in a good location, although it is down a lot of narrow lanes.
Property smelled strongly of damp & dogs. There were cheap air fresheners everywhere to try and disguise the smell. Property extremely run down. We damaged our car on the track outside the house and were told by neighbours that 30 other people had done that this week. Everything is falling apart, wallpaper peeling off, sinks losing surfaces, cigarette burns in carpets, sofas were covered in sand, mismatched broken furniture. Beds were clean and you could tell the cleaners had tried with the time they were given, yellowing fridge and microwave clean. But it’s clearly had no investment or maintenance for a long time from management. Had to stay the first night as we couldn’t get anywhere else on a bank holiday weekend. Didn’t sleep as neighbours noisy and sat outside playing music and broken headboards meant a huge banging noise any time one of the children moved about in their sleep. Could not get front door open in morning- fire risk surely? When we complained the staff blamed all of this on the last guests to stay which was quite clearly not true. Left early and didn’t stay for second night, drove all the way to Swansea just to get out of there. Staff promised a refund which we have not received (a week later) and they are ignoring my emails so booking.com now pursuing this for us.

Expensive for what you get but very nice place
The location was great, the kitchen was clean and has everything you need.
Not enough towels, the office was already close when we got there (something like 18:00)
And the most important- they supply everything except paper roll. Very disappointing that we were ask for one and they send us to the supermarket to buy one “we are not supply that ,sorry,it’s doesn’t matters how many people you are” Seriously??

Unfortunately one of the staff members confronted us quite violently to keep the noise down. It was only 10pm and the signs outside say keep the noise down past 11pm. Had he approached us kindly asking, of course we would have kept the noise down (we were only chatting in the hot tub no wild parties), but he was swearing and very aggressive and due to this we would not return. It’s a shame as we have stayed as a group on multiple occasions but do not appreciate being spoken to in such a manner.

Disappointing for our first ever trip to South Wales
The location was quiet so no problems with noisy neighbours or barking dogs, which was nice.
We were a family of four and the accommodation was quite cozy. There wasn't much space to sit in the evenings with two small settees. Also the table for eating meals was quite small and located just outside the bathroom door so it wasn't pleasant to have a relaxing meal. The "master" bedroom was smaller than the bedroom with two twin beds in and there was no space to put anything down. The bathroom had no shelf space to drop your washbag or toothpaste and oddly, the toilet was filled and flushed with boiling hot water. In the master bedroom, there was a sink and again nowhere to drop anything. We were disappointed with the cleanliness as it was clear that the lodge had been tidied with bedding changed but there were cobwebs, dust on surfaces, scrawled up toilet roll which had been placed in the hanging plant and just a general feeling that the lodge was in need of a deep clean. Additionally, the hot tub area was untidy. There were leaves everywhere, the flooring was wet and cold and there was nowhere to hang your towel or dressing gown. It could have done with some fairly lights. It was dark and no lighting available in the evenings. The television signal was very poor and we ended up having to use our mobile hotspot to cast Netflix as the television signal was so poor we couldn't watch anything in the evenings without constant static and interruption. The wifi does not extend to the lodge which again, was disappointing. We never saw or spoke to our hosts. When we picked up our keys and left, the reception door was locked, although there was someone in reception, they stayed behind the glass door on the phone, no smile, no wave. It just felt very unwelcoming. In every other lodge we have stayed in there has always been a warm welcome and a welcome basket with basic essentials which is nice after a very long drive.

No Wi-Fi in the lodges, television reception was intermittent to say the least and no towels were provided at the property. Shower was very slow to drain which meant you had to have it on a less powerful setting than you wanted.

fabulous place for a relaxing break
lovely lodge. we enjoyed using the hot tub. the walks in the wood were perfect for the dogs. went to a lovely pub locally Corvus. Need a car but central location.
we could have done with a mop. we had our dog with us and wanted to keep on top of floor being clean. also steps to get into hot tub would be useful. we had a problem with the shower. reported it and was fixed that day. would be good to have 11 am as vacating time on day of departure.

Wasnt very clean oven looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a while ,shower keeped getting blocked ,hot tub wasn't cleaned at all said they would be there to clean before 12 my kids went in and then was asked to get out about 1pm for them to check chemical thats all they did nice place but wont go back

Lovely little break.
The lodge was all prepared ready for us, heating was on, beds made and hot tub ready to use.
Location felt remote but it was easy to get to things if needed/wanted. Quiet and peaceful. Kitchen had all the equipment needed to cook plus a fridge and separate freezer.
We were also able to add our daughter on to come with us quite last minute thanks to great communication from the owners.
We had an issue with the keys. When we arrived we only had 1 key left in the lodge for the main door so when planning to go out we learnt the double patio door had no lock and could be opened from the outside by the latch. We contacted the owners? & someone came right away with a different set of keys.
Place could also do with WiFi to be more modern.

The lodge manual says they check hot tub everyday - 2 of our 4 hot tubs smelt - do not think they were checked. When asked to take a look their response was 'It's how you use it'.

The lodge is lovely and has everything you need, only thing I would suggest is maybe to provide a mop as it the floor gets pretty wet quickly from coming in and out of the hot tub.
The bed wasn’t very comfortable so it was hard to get a decent sleep.

Have stayed here previous in primrose 18 was a beautiful stay love the hot tub
Unfortunately we had a problem with ants in the cabin itself, all over the floors, sofa and kitchen work tops, and the cleanliness was not as good as the last time we stayed here.

Lovely little break
Not too far to drive into Tenby or Saundersfood. You will need a car as the location is in the countryside. Shops and takeaways a short drive away in St Clears. Cosy and quiet with a nice hot tub. We saw the man emptying it as we left. Very clean accommodation. We will return!
